NO AUDIO - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Please help!
Has any one experienced this? I have no audio coming through with my external speaker. I was on a call using speaker phone and out of nowhere the sound stopped. I tried flashing super.wipe and then reflashing the rom and nothing has helped. Music, Ringtone, Notification tone...nothing works as far as sound goes.
Any help is really appreciated. I want to try to get it fixed instead of getting a replacement phone.
I posted in darkside as well...sorry for the double post. I am using darkside beta06 with blaze radio. Zero issues before this!

bump...anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried a factory reset or a stock odin flash ?

I am having the same issue using same rom only difference its only the radio that stops working every so often everything else regarding sound is fine. I posted a thread about ithttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26890892#post26890892

I haven't tried a factory reset or odin yet. I figured flashing the super.wipe and a new version of the rom would be enough...I even tried reflashing twice. I am not getting any sound through the external speaker no matter what I do. The reason I think it's weird is because when it went out the phone wasn't moving...just sitting on the table with loud speaker on during a call.

[Q] CM9 Can't reflash modem - horrible call quality

I currently have CM9 alpha 6 with the ff18 modem installed.
When I make calls, both ends sound very garbled. I tried to trouble shoot by enabling/disabling 'enhanced voice privacy' as well as messing with the settings in DSP manager. I also tried disabling Google Voice, thinking that could be the source of the problem. Nothing worked.
After all that, I figured I would try reflashing the modem to el29, ff31, or fg20. When I tried in both the included CWM and also el29-directbootCWM-v3, I would get an error "e:error in (status 6)" and the flash would fail. I also tried to flash the tar.md5 versions of the modems through Mobile Odin, everything would appear to flash properly, but when I rebooted and checked the baseband version it still said "S.D710.10 S.FF18".
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I use this phone for work calls I'm not new to rooting / flashing but this is a new issue for me. Thanks!
[Edit] The modem flashing issue is resolved, but I still have the call audio problem.
Any suggestions or ideas?

Are you able to update profile and PRL on CM9? i don't think so though, but I've never flashed CM9 yet...

I was able to update the PRL & Profile using the Temporary Stock E4GT from emmc (http://e4gtcm.blogspot.com/2012/05/temporary-stock-e4gt-from-emmc.html). Still did not help with the sound quality.
Long story short, I finally was able to flash to another modem using Odin -- I am now on FG20. I used the temp stock e4gt from emmc to update the Profile & PRL, but i still have horribly garbled call audio.
Any recommendations on what else to troubleshoot? Or should I just wipe & reflash?
...hoping this isn't actually some hardware issue.

[Q] Dead mic

Flashed RC1 version of .569 on 2014/02/01and found the handset microphone no longer works. Both wired and Bluetooth headset calling works fine. Xperia diagnostic app records nothing during test. And yes, the noise suppression is turned off. I flashed every stock kernel with no change. Any ideas?

Hey Bro i am having the exact same issue , So to judge the level of issue I have created this thread .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2635013
Please give it a look and provide input to see how bad the situation is .

Serious issue after latest update.

Ever since I got the latest update to 4.3 my phone randomly won't make calls. If I reboot the phone it will start making calls again, then randomly will stop. I make a call and it instantly says call failed. I tried resetting the phone to factory defaults and using ODIN to flash the latest update again. Now I find out that Warrenty Bit is 1 even though I flashed the stock image. If anyone has any input on the call issue I would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I already read that post and was hoping there was some sort of fix for now. Thanks for the link though.

To anyone having the issue. I reset my APN to default and the problem has not happened in two days. Fingers crossed.

[Q] Media volume on mute

This is the first time ive never had this issue. Its starting to appear in ROMs where Ive never had this problem before
How do I fix? I attached a photo. No music, game volume.
Using the volume buttons while playing music doesn't help?
Try a factory reset maybe... After backing up your apps.
Or first maybe just cache and dalvik.
No volume button does nothing. I am going to try clean flashing again but without a custom kernel because maybe the kernel is causing the problem.

Could be.
If that fails... Maybe Odin stock 4.1.2 on it. To see if it works then. It could be hardware... But I doubt it.
It could be an app stopping it too... Unless you haven't installed any yet.
I will. Currently running the ROM on its stock kernel. I will how this goes for 3 days then report back.
I was using Wild Kernel 009

note 2 making weird poping noises and headjack does not work.

wait ,you flashed custom rom and then you rebooted you were back to stock rom?
is that correct?
what recovery you are using. Stock or custom recovery?
There might be a hardware problem with the headphone jack. I use it in my car and there's always problems with how the cable sits in the jack that do not occur with my girlfriend's phone.
