I just got my kindle Fire and I really like it. However I am used to Samsung TouchWiz UI. Is there a ROM to get this UI on the KF? Thanks!

Hey, I am a complete noob when it comes to dev work, but I was just at the Google Chromebook, andI thought it would be cool for my kindle to look kinda like it!
See what you could do! Thanks!
Anyone know of any KF rom that would be closest to the experience found on Nexus 7?
Loving my Nexus 7 tablet, would like to get my KF at least in the proximity of that experience. CM releases have their own flavor, and I've even tried AOSP from lithium76, which seems semi-decent, but has issues and less dev focus now.
Instead of trying every rom, anyone have a recommendation?
Again, I want as close to Nexus 7 experience as possible, on my KF Love vanilla JB, at least as found on the Nexus devices.

Android 4.2 jellybean for kindle fire first gen 6.3.1, sorry cant post a link yet, just type in 'Install Android 4.2 on the original Amazon Kindle Fire - Liliputing' to google
This would help you a lot I would think.
Hello all,
I was thinking of putting Kindle Fire HD's in my store for people to use. I already use iPads and have them Jailbroken to lock anyone down from changing/installing/deleting anything.
I use these enclosures, for the iPads, on the tables. And they make an enclosure for the original Kindle Fire, but I would be using the Kindle Fire HD. The iPad's are too expensive.
Now what can I do to keep users from accessing the settings and installing/deleting anything? Also no in-app purchases. Are there any mods or apps that can do this? I know the iOS can.
You can add a user and limit what they can get to.

You could use this app:

Not sure of it works on the stock os or not since I'm running a standard kf2 on CyanogenMod.
Honestly not even sure of this is exactly what you are looking for.
Also- you can turn off in app purchases on cyanogenmod (aosp).. Again, not sure if it works on stock.
Not sure how savvy you are w android devices so unable to tell you if YOU can do it.
Edit: in a business environment you MIGHT be better off w the nexus 7

Ok. Just followed your link for the cases. I think the app you would want is this:

I am new to the Kindle Fire world, and just bought a new Fire HD. I like it except for the home screen, I would rather have the typical Android screen that I could add widgets and stuff to.
So, short of Rooting the device, is there a launcher that will work with a new Fire that will let me do this? Thanks for the help!

Is there a way to change the start up logo on the kindle fire? The default one is getting boring, and it would be cool to have different ones... is there a way to change it
(I have a kindle fire HD 10 2017, running the latest OS)
Not with the stock OS.
But, you might want to check the dedicated "HD 8 / HD 10" forum section to be sure.
