you can find it here [RECOVERY] ClockworkMod v5.5.0.4
after flashed, you can enter CWM recovery mode by pressing volume up + home button + power.

Thank you. One more thing though, what if id like to transfer my backed up file to my computer for keepsake. Can cwm do such? . Please forgive me for my noobiness.

No worries. I'm just giving you a hard time.
Like someone mentioned above, just use ODIN to flash a stock rooted ROM and all will be right in the world again.
Do you know exactly how?
Need Infos.
I'm beginner and trying to respect your words.

In the development section read the instructions how to flash via odin.

Unzip the .7z file you downloaded from that thread. You should get a .tar file. (Might be .tar.md5, cant remember)
Flash that with odin.

Nandroid Backup Error... Need help....

I am currently using ClockWorkMod Recovery 6.0.1.2. The last few times I have tried to backup a ROM, I get : Error finding an appropriate backup handler. This happens at the end of the backup after it looks like everything is okay. Does anybody know what this means and how it can be corrected? I don't like flashing new ROM's without doing a Nandroid Backup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Thank you!

Try Twrp recovery?
I should... I feel like I'm betraying CWM if I go to the other side. Is it the shizzle?

You need to take that avatar down and put one up of Jesse "shizzle" would never come out of Heisenberg's mouth. But yes it is better imo and lots of others. Has a better track record with this phone as well. Install it through goomanager from the play store.

I agree about TWRP. Boyh are great in their own right, but I prefer TWRP by a longshot! Even has a built in file manager!
Don't worry, we were all nervous our first times!!
Seriously though, only took a few min and I was hooked!
On your problem, does cwm see both int and ext sdcards?
If it comes to it, connect to pc over usb and adb pull both /system and /data. Also internal sd.
At least you'll have some sort of backup and then id suggest odin flashing stock firmware.
Good luck!

You mean from ROM Manager? Don't. ROM Manager sucks. Use recovery. Recovery is your friend and lover. Get all up in there.

Team Win Recovery Project. Alternative to Clockwork Mod Recovery, which seems to be preferred by most.

that's goo manager?? you can't run fix permissioms from there

No, not goo manager, that's the gui for twrp, which is a recovery. Fix permissions in recovery.

can someone tell me why you have to go into cwm recovery to back up & restore???
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
You should rarely have to fix permissions.
Recovery backs up boot,system,cache.
It can't back these things up while they are running. Just like windows updates.
Recovery is your best friend, don't fight it.

Changing from TWRP to CWM

I did not feel like reading 10,000 Q and A's so here goes. I want to flash a 4.4.2 rom and I think everyone knows twrp 2.6.3.1 will not do it so I have been trying to overwrite it with clockwork but have not been able to on my ATT s3. I have a Verizon I did it to without any problem but everything I try fails. I need help please. What am I doing wrong?

The answer is a topic for another thread. The ROM Manager app could solve your problem, but no one who read your OP knows enough about your failed procedure or your phone's current state to offer specifics.
The 10,000 Q&A are your friends. GUIDES, Indexes, TUTORIALS & Stickys are even friendlier.

Maybe I am on the wrong thread but I thought this was for questions? I am using Dirty Unicorns 4.3.1 and I tried the clockwork application several times but with no success. At one time clockwork was the recovery I was using but I overwrote it with Odin to get team win back but that was when I was content with 4.3.1 Now I flashed liquid smooth 3.0 on my Verizon with clockwork and I would like to try Beanstalk 4.4.2.1......on the Phone I use every day but TWRP fails every time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and I am sorry if this is the wrong thread I am kind of new at all this.

I suggest flashing Philz Touch. You can flash it via Odin (use the tar version) or from your custom recovery (use the zip version).
Philz is based off the latest CWM and it works perfectly on my i747m.

You can adjust the height of the font to make it larger than it would be in cwm.

If you don't like it, you can always flash back CWM Touch. The font colours and background are also changeable.
