Matte Black Back Cover

Hey,
I've been looking to get a matte back cover for my arc, on the grounds that I think the shiny back looks a bit cheap and the matte ones are easier to hold and feel better.
I was just wondering if anyone is selling, or knows of anyone selling, these back covers either in Europe (to avoid the huge delivery times on most on eBay), OR for less than £9.

Thats the thing I'm on about, but they all seem to be imported from Asia and quite expensive for what's basically a thin piece of plastic.
Also, if anyone DOES have one, what's it like to use? Are they loose or anything, basically are they built up to standard?

Would just like to confirm, mine just arrived today, and it is SO much better!
Anyone who doesn't like the slightly cheap feel of the phone, buy one. Honestly it makes a world of difference!

Got mine yesterday and it fits perfectly, the feel in hand is way, way better also the squeaky sound from the original one is gone!
I'm very happy with this cover.
If someone is wondering to buy it or not, don't and get it.

Did the same things as I couldn't take the wobble feeling anymore. If the matte cover still wobbles, I probably have to buy a case or move on to another phone. Unfortunately, others make ugly phones. Only Atrix is somewhat impressive of the rest.

Hi,
I searched on ebay and want to order one black & one silver. But there is no info available on ebay whether the back cover is matte or just like original.

just just a matte black shell. fits well and quality i would say, its better than its price of $2.40 with free shipping

hm... I think all the cases are compatible. I've got the gel case from ebay, the leather one in the retail package and both fit perfectly.

Hi Guys I brought this case a while back and I have been using it every day since. I made a review also around the time I brought it and thought I would share it with you. This is a great case.

Totally Agree nothing wrong with promoting your own product, but be honest about it & don't word post so people assume just purchased it , be open about it.
I would now not purchase from him if I wanted to buy case because of the way his post is worded, he is putting people off IMOP

I would have just bought one, too bad shipping cost as much as the product itself.

I don't really mind you promote your own product but be open about it.
Also I would consider this if shipping cost was more reasonable.

I came across a few TPU cases by Rock.. Flip and back-only. Anyone heard of or used them? Couldn't find any reviews for the case.. I'm not sure about the TPU quality and transparency of the back (for the flip one). Check them out, heres the link:

I think this one is the best looking one ive seen so far. Might have to place an order for an orange one

i purches both of them, i loved the rock cases on my hox and my S3.
the back only cover arrieved yesterday. great looking, good feeling and perfect match. just a few rather sharp edges, which i removed with my nails.
i got a grey cover for my silver one, looks really great.
i am waiting for the black flip cover . it did not arrieved so far

Good to know! Two questions for you -
1. Is the TPU flexible? If so, is it like completely flexible or just a little?
2. Is the case too shiny? Like candy colours (think: Nokia Lumia)?

1. its rather hard, looks not like TPU, hard plastic would i say, but still flex enoth to fit it
2. the grey one is not that shiny, matt i would say

I ordered the black one, and it just arrived today. Bit of a shame I don't have a phone to put in it, because it looks great. It is glossy, but not overboard. Maybe similar to the gloss on the original PS3? But don't quote me on that, I only owned the slim.
My One should arrive tomorrow. Once it does, I'll post up some pictures so you guys can check it out.
As far as Rock cases go though, I had one for my One X and I really liked it. I would def recommend you guys check them out. Or also Capdase. I just got a white case from them today as well. Both very nice. One is glossy, one is matte.

Do you order straight from their website ? I had their case for my s3 and loved it but then a whole ton of knockoffs started coming out.

So my phone arrived, and I had it in the Rock case within about 5 minutes. I'm in Korea for the day, so I'm trying it out. So far: really like it. The case fits like a glove. Doesn't snap on really tight like some, but there is absolutely no movement. I actually prefer this to the ones that make you think you are going to break your phone putting on/taking it off. The black on black looks so good! It's super thin, so the phone shape is maintained. It also has a very slight lip around the edges on the front so you can put it down on it's face, if you want.
The negatives: the black is a fingerprint magnet. I guess that's why they bundled a cloth in the package. The other is I am afraid I'm gonna drop my phone and it will break. I attribute the fear to having just got the phone, as well as being pretty hungover . If I were to drop the phone, the case wouldn't do much to protect it. It's more like a scratch guard.
Anyway, so far I really like it. I bet the coloured ones on the black would look ridiculous good. I'll add pictures when I get some time.

I have Rock "Quicksand" case with the Xperia S.
Dropped it from around waist level to the hard ground. No scratch.
So.. when I got One, I quickly try to find a Quicksand series but they don't seem to made it yet.

Search on amazon for the bear motion case. I had the quicksand for my s3 and this bear motion feels just like that.

Thanks, I already ordered something similar from ebay (not bear motion). I believe they came from the same wholesale retailer and slap different brand on it...

Bamboo or Ebony

Just got my ebony skin from www.gadgetshieldz.in as seen here next to bamboo back cover
As you can see ebony looks and fits really well , and costs half as much as bamboo back cover , only down side is this isn't real wood unlike bamboo, but it does feel really good to hold :good:

So is this hard plastic?? or a 3M stick on

I personally like the darker look of the ebony much more than the lighter bamboo.

it's 3m skin on sandstone back

I don't see how these could possibly stick very well to the sandstone back and not peel up at the edges.
A bit disappointed that they think the styleswap cases for the ONE are made out of gold now, with the prices people are asking. And nowhere near the selection you get on the TWO.

it actually sticks pretty well i must say , i had to remove it several times before i got it right . Once its perfectly placed you need to use the standard procedure of using a hair dryer to head up edges to make them stick

Bamboo will get darker in time, if you don't use any case for opo. And yes, the bamboo get more sexy looks
