I would really like to get one of the authentic galaxy s ii mesh cases, as it's the only case I know of that will still fit in the car dock, but everywhere I look people are selling knock offs.
Does anyone know a reputable place to buy the authentic samsung product (with shipping to Canada), and not get a cheap counterfeit case?

ebay perhaps? just make sure the samsung logo is silver and not gold...

Actually the original Samsung mesh case does come with a Golden logo, as mine was bundeled with the phone and offered by Samsung Middle East.
Probably their could be knock offs made with both Golden and Silver loos, or it could be that different colors of the mesh case have different logo colors

Anyone know a place where I can order white TPU cases for my GSM Nexus? I looked on Amazon and eBay, I did like one of them (link below) but the shipping takes forever, any suggestions are welcome.
A few things to note, I hate having a "lip" around the front of my device, unless its a really small one.

Since it's for the Korea market, it's safe to assume that it'll fit the GSM version for sure.

I appreciate it, searches on my side are coming up dry as well. I remember seeing somethibg on Amazon but it was out of stock.
My white tpu case came in and it looks great! Its "super white"
Nicely packaged, came with a screen protector I'll never use but its nice.
It fits the original 1750 battery & back cover and 2000 battery & case perfectly. No idea about the Verizon phone as I have GSM, sorry guys.
The cutouts are perfect and the power + volume rocker are easily accessible.

can you tell me if your case has a lip on the front? As in lay on table design? I dont like the added thickness from a bulging lip. A slight one is fine.

Yes, it has a lip so face down on table it will be safe. Also the camera is protected if put on back.
It is glossy but because it is white, you can't really tell the fingerprints are there, if they are there.

Yes, just make sure you really read the description and order as soon as possible as when they are coming from Korea and or China, it can take a while.

I ordered this mercury lime green case from ebay for USD 9.99, haven't received it yet, but should arrive may be monday or tuesday, whiles i'm waiting for that, i just picked up 6 tpu case from shenzhen today, just the same as the one i ordered from ebay, the store says it's real, but i wont comment on it, all i can say is the mercury brand is korean, but they are still made in china, and these that i got from china are identical, and of high quality, i've checked everyone of them.

OK, I don't take responsibility for this as I still don't recommend those type of cases (less material, less protection ) but on the picture it looks like what you are looking for. It says it's aluminum so should be better it terms of durability, but I don't know if it won't reduce your signal strength a bit.

P.S.: I don't like big cases like silicone bumpers or bags or something like this. I just trust in my ability to handle my phone without letting it fall to the ground. That worked with other phones for years, so I take the risk.

Yup, the one from Anymode looks really nice. But you will probably have to wait a few days or maybe weeks until it's available outside Korea (or you can try buy it from their website, I don't speak Korean so I can't help you with that). And it won't be cheap as I suppose it won't be less than $50-$60 without shipping.

Yes there is. Check out Amazon uk. Samsung have a lizard leather flip case. Much stronger than original flip. I have had it for approaching a month now and no sign of wear. At it is thicker than original, it takes a little bit more pressing down on the back to secure it. But once it is on, it does the job of protection, looks stylish and professional. I have photos of it in the 'post your case' thread if u r interested

Wow, it just arrived. Unbelievable fast, I thought I would be very lucky if I get it next Friday.
My first thoughts are very positive: It fits perfect and feeld high quality.
The Flip gives a good protection, it's very strong. The battery cover is a bit thicker than the original one, so it protects the camera lense but doesn't make the phone bulky.
Two little disadvantages: It smells quite bad, but I believe in a week the stink is gone. And the back is very smooth, even a bit slippery. The plastic texture of the original had more grip, but it the aluminium looks simply great. So that's ok.
I'm very happy with it!

Anymode Case Galaxy Note Stand Folio Case Series from ExportPrive would work on the SGH-I717 or is it just for the International Note?

Ater some google-fu on the case and exportprive, I went ahead and ordered it. Apparently the case is made for the Japanese model of the Galaxy Note, so it does have the NFC antenna on the battery cover of the case (I have the SGH-i717) . The only foreseeable downfall I see is that it doesn't snap on properly, that would hurt. But for $63 including shipping, I say it is worth the risk considering I fell in love with the anymode case at&t sells, but thought it was to pricey for a brick&motor store to sell. Now I will get a kick stand plus earpiece cut out! Will update when I receive it.

I intend on purchasing a genuine Samsung flip cover (white) for my Galaxy Note (ceramic white).

The genuine cover (in YLNdroid's post) is a lovely fit, but probably isn't great for long term use, a lot of people complain that it wears out quickly. But it only adds about 1.5mm to the phone, so that's very attractive.

Aryana90, is the said cover you purchased as good as the "genuine" one? Does it have Galaxy Note inscribed on the front and Samsung inscribed on the rear?
If so, where can I get one in white colour? I have a ceramic white Galaxy Note.

I thought I saw some on ebay, but something to remember is that if you want nfc to work, don't get metal ones. I would defintely go plastic until people have experience with the nfc issues.

The way the stand works is what I am looking for. I am keeping my eye out for the Speck Fit Folio, but this one looks interesting. Is it slim? From the pictures they have, it kind of seems it may be bulky. Do you have any pictures of it?

I bought a no name white folio case from eBay before ordering my Moko UltraSlim. I paid $1.79 with free shipping from China! It's not bad at all. It has the smart wake/sleep function too. Honestly though I do prefer my Moko UltraSlim which was around $15 or $20 (don't remember how much) shipped from Amazon.

It's bulkier than the speck fit. but probably the least bulky compared to all the slimbooks.

It feels premium for something so cheap. It has the magnetic wakeup feature as well fold points for a stand. Definitely worth a look.

Just as I told you it does support wakeup/sleep, I got it today and I'm using it now. Ask the seller, should be defective.

Is that the V case from Nillkin or just the normal one? Wondering if anyone has received the V case as it's supposedly able to keep the screen cover closed.
Keeping the cover closed is another subject in the other hand it doesn't keep it closed.
