Help plz, need official ROM for gingerbread 2.3.6 - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

Help, need official ROM for Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660, Gingerbread 2.3.6
PDA: S5660XXKT7
PHONE: S5660XXKT2
CSC: S5660TENKT1 (Telenor Norway)
Thanks!

try on http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/

I looked on sammobile, but do not know which firmware is csc Norway (TEN)

Just use the one for your region or country. For example, o used baltic. Hardly possible to find operator specific, since its upto operator to update it and leak it

lol.
not every firmware available is leaked.
some are spread out via kies, and can be taken from the kies servers I guess, but that's not really leaking. samsung would have a big hole if every firmware on sammobile is leaked. some are, for example the soon releases of android 4.0 for the galaxy s2, but not for our gio's..

Thats not what I ment. I mean operator specific firmwares are not very common. IMO. And they don't really tend to release them other way, but with new phones. Marketing IMO.

Well, the closest you can get is probably the SGS II Rom from MatZ69.
That guy did a good job with the skinning.

...i am now using a stock rom//
asian region,it's a singapore one
it is working quite fast...and i rooted it with universal gb,..but still BT not working/also wifi and sensor is still mixed up,LOL..but what to do,i'm just a noobie about tinkering with android, all i can do is re-flash and re-flash,i already tried almost all the roms i can get hold of,but still no luck:crying:
and btw camera, when you use it after taking a shot,...and view it in re-view its also upside down:laugh:
if you can tweak a rom,any rom as long as it will work ok,(bcause this gio is a very good HW.) for us korean gio users it will be a big help man...and am willing to try it.
yes, but I need to have a korean rom, wich has the working wifi, sensors and bluetooth, so I can modify the s5660 roms to work on your korean version, but I need a working rom for your device..
if you can give me that, I can modify it..
website for samsung firmware
....oh ok but,i can only point you the website for that, and that will be <samsung open source release center>,that is also where i DL the stock rom for korean gio shw m290k w/c idont know what kind of file format it is ,because i cant flash it using odin 4.4 for gio,is it ok?im sorry because i dont know if i could upload it somewhere?...is it enough,to show you only where you can DL it?the stock korean firmware i mean...or i need to do something else?
BTW, is it possible that i can use Odin 1.7 for Android and flash that stock korean rom for SHW M290k gio the same way as flashing rom and kernel to a galaxy s?
how did you download the file?
when I press the button nothing happends
edit: got it, downloading now..
worked on chrome
odin3 v1.7 [android+slp]
.....can we use thi 0din? for flashing this shw-m290k-GIO_HOME-TH25-REVO3-user file to gio?btw this is the file w/c i managed to DL from samsung opensource site man.
OH i'm sorry this is not the one i DL from samsung,my mistake,it came fro another guy here in another shw m290 thread....
the FW i DL from samsung source is a Froyo
and an update for Gingerbread.
@voetbalremco..goodluck with the porting man!,will wait and try it.

i have already tried this firmware from samdroid, downloaded and flashed it,this is not a stock korean firmware ithink, because after i flashed it and did the factory reset and boot up,it rolled back to its original language i think is like russian, still used it and tried but BT?wifi/sensors are not working....from this M290K s5660XXKTK
..this psyhoplus file is ok ithink original stock but i cant flash it using odin 4.42,i tried to put it in one packaged to odin but odin cant read the file, but if you extract it,ibecame a different file so odin cant read it either....maybe if you could have odin read the file, i can flash it to my gio. i dont know how you call the file that is flashable using odin, tar?zip? explain it please.

[Q] How to find the old stock gingerbread 2.3.6 ROM? Serious mother-in-law problem.

Hello, I have a mother-in-law problem... so I guess you understand my cry for help.
I recently updated her Galaxy Ace 2 (GT-I8160) from 2.3.6 to 4.1.2
Something I shouldn't have done, considering the device being very slow after the update.
So now I am trying to find the old 2.3.6 firmware again, specifically for the Netherlands (XEN).
I have search pretty much everywhere on the web, but only find dead hotfile links that work no more.
I hope anyone still has the stock rom on their computer!

Vino Kulafu, would you mind checking whether the CM 10.1 ROM also has the language option for Dutch (="Nederlands")?
AFAIK all stock ROMs have all Latin-based languages, only a few stocks support Arabic fonts, Cyanogenmod has (at least) Latin+Japanese+Chinese
Anyway, for your original question, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141930 (only after flashing that you could install http://d-h.st/QLZ -- less bloatware and doesn't default to Russian )

They just uploaded newest version today and for Turkey!
How lucky i am . Anyways changelist is the same
I wonder if Restoring via Kies as mentioned here would work for the GT-S7560M too?
When submitting my Serial Number, Kies gives me the following
"Initialized Version: PDA:MF4 / PHONE:MF4 / CSC:MF1 (CHO)"
How can I verify that that's the same as what I have right now?
How can I make sure I have my phone back to the original state in case I have to give it back to the carrier with guarantee issues?
I read that "any firmware" would do for this phone, but mine is not listed on sam-mobile (Tigo Bolivia).
The baseband is available as coming from various countries (including Guatemala as "Daver18qc's Deodexed/Rooted Guatemala" as mentioned in the FAQ just that that has a different baseband.) - Does that matter?
Thanks
EDIT: Works with Kies for Mac on a soft bricked S7560m
stock firmware

Flash indian firmware. They are the first to get updates.
And when updating from 4.1.2 to 4.3 or 4.4.2 you should make a factory reset in recovery because they change storage location.
For best result after a flash i recommend you make a backup of your internal memory and flash the Indian firmware then make a factory reset.
