Ok, I recently decided to try using the Voice to Text feature in the messaging app and for some reason it doesn't work!
I can use voice dialing, voice search, etc. but the voice to text doesn't seem to hear a voice.....any ideas what could be causing it?
Could it be a rom issue? I'm running Super-Z on my inc.
I recently flashed cyanogen mod and I love it. The only problem is I have no way of checking my voicemail. I installed google voice but it took over my text messages and was not that great. Then I decided to do the sense visual voicemail trick and it did not work (maybe because I was backing up from a sense 3.0 rom?).

Sorry if this is a noob question.
I'm using supernova extreme 2.4.0.0 and it is great. But I just found out that the voice recognition does not work. Can't work on any apps or programs that are using voice recognition, such as voice dialing, voice search, apps like iris.
Appreciate anyone could help.

I have the MIUI.US 2.12.14 (Android 4.1.2) and can not get any voice recognition apps to work. Not sure if voice recognition is stripped out of this ROM?
When I say I cant get voice recognition to work I mean: I cannot send a message using voice,I cant use a voice search. Even other apps which use voice recognition say that I need to "install google voice search" When I click the link it gives me at the play store but it just doesn't give me an option to install the voice search.
Does anyone have any insight for me on the MIUI 2.12.14 and Voice Recognition?

This is a relatively small problem but it's driving me bonkers! So I have the Note II, rooted and equipped with SkyNote 9.0 Rom (Jellybean 4.1.2 - love it by the way!) and recently got the LG HBS-730 bluetooth headset. The story is that I can press the call button on the headset and it does a voice dial as specified in the manual.
The problem is I would like to strictly use Google Now for voice dialing and I have set up the necessary options to do so, but when I tried to deactivate the native voice dialer, I couldn't because I can't find the app. The application manager has no trace of a voice dialer. I have also looked in my folders as best I can to locate it but I can't. Does anyone have a clue where the native voice dialer is so I can shut it off or delete it?
