[Q] New to the Evo wanta know easiest way to root

Hi I'm new to the whole evo thing. Getting an evo on Monday and I'm upgrading from an HTC Hero rooted with GB. Just wanted some links to threads for the easiest way to root. Also any info on GB running on the evo or fav roms would be great

Bailed on the evo but last I knew unrevoked was pretty much one click root, s-off.

I just got my Evo last Tuesday and rooted last night with unrevoked 3.3 without any issues.

MIUI and WiMax

I'm trying to figure out, how does the Nexus S 4G on MIUI have WiMax but the Evo doesn't. Is it because no one is trying or is it because of something else??
GB version btw.

The Nexus S 4g only has WiMAX working on their MIUI v4 roms. I believe Scott helped with that. WiMAX is being worked on for the EVO 4g just have to give it time. Toast and Shinzul are working on WiMAX on ICS.

I just ordered a 3D for $150 (No Contract) I see its hard for 4g to work on a stock rom with that one

I got it from http://www.cowboom.com/ mines will come Monday so I'll see the quality. It said 6 and had very small fine scratches on the screen so knowing that, its probably almost new

Are there any other 4g models? I know nothing about this device I do not currently own one but I do have several requests to root peoples devices. Several people wanted put on boost to have a prepaid service but I just want to make sure that I have the right forum section

Don't forget the evo design, which about all u can do is root it and flash it to another carrier since it has 0 support anywhere on teh interwebz

evo wifi
I'm not new at flashing but I'm new at posting a forums i installed a LEWA ROM which is MIUI and C& combined great ROM but when if run the WiFi the phone locks up. I updated the radio and the PR and reinstalled ROM and still does the same thing. Any help will be appreciated, thank you in advanced.

The only reason I could come up with is maybe the epic 4G is almost the same as the Galaxy S, but the E4GT is actually pretty different to the GSII.
