Hello i've started to have problems with SIM card, sometimes randomly it just pops up window that SIM card is not inserted and all i can do is restart phone and even when i restart it it cannot find the SIM card, i have to pull out the battery and reinsert the SIM to make it work, it might be because of the guy at t mobile who cut the SIM card wrong and it gets dislocated in the solo and also it might be system failure so im asking is anybody else experiencing this?
Yes I experienced this. It was really annoying. I managed to fix it by removing the sim card and wiping it gently using cloth. If that didn't fix it, then ask your carrier for a new sim card, because yours might have become defective.
SIM not detected
Hello, i have the same issue.
Nothing helps. Put in and out different SIM Card's. No one of all SIM are detected.
Could it be, that a self cuted SIM, to Microsim Formfaktor, damaged the SIM Reader of my new Note?
But yesterday it works really fine with the self cuted SIM. In the Evening i put out the cuted SIM und put in a other (Origin) Microsim from an other Carrier, that works fine too.
After that, i put the cuted SIM with an Adapter into my old Desire. Then i have issues with 3G Networks. The Desire find 3G Network, connect to the Network and lost the connection immediately. When i choose only 2G Networks it would connected.
Today at the morning, i want to know what's wrong. Desire or cuted SIM. I put the cuted SIM back into my Note. Boot the Note. If it booting up, it poped up a message, that the Phone must be restart because the SIM has been changed. When the Note reboot again it, it shows a SIM Icon in the Notification Bar and tells it's no SIM Card inside. I tried the other Microsim (OEM cuted) it won't be detected too.:crying:
Does anybody have a solution for me?
Thank you i tried to clean the SIM card a little bith with cloth and spits and grits, did not happen since then, i hope it will be solved, if not i will try to get a new sim card from carrier, after all the SIM card is like +11 years old
Hi all,
I have a Note 2 which was on O2 I purchased an unlock code on eBay and unlocked my phone using a friends micro sim which seemed to work fine. The only sim card I had is a nano sim so I tried to use one of those adapter trays and broke my sim reader in the process! So I replaced the sim card reader with a new one.
The phone seems to read sim cards now as it does not show the insert sim card error but it is not getting any signal and is showing the error "Not registered on network" when I try to dial. I have checked the hardware and the aerial is connected and undamaged. I have never altered the software on the phone and it is on the stock O2 4.3 ROM and the phone is not rooted.
Any ideas because I am at a loss...
Thanks
Doesn't any one have any ideas?
For some reason my ZL is very picky on what sim card it tries to read. It's only detecting my current T-Mobile sim card. If I put any other sim card in regardless what carrier it's from, the phone will not detect the sim and will display sim card not installed. Yet, the other sim cards work perfectly fine in my iPhone. So it can't be a sim card issue. Now every time I install a sim card I always reboot like what your suppose to do but when the phone powers back on, I still get no sim card installed. However if i put my current T-Mobile sim card in, it detects it.Strange!
Hi,
I "inherited" this HTC One M8 from my son
It was working fine, then got problem with battery which I replaced. Now it just show "No SIM card found....." when I inserted SIMs.
Any tips on how to fix this?
After my phone dropped the sim card is no longer detected even if i flash firmware, reset the phone, still no sim card detected,i transfer my main board in my other m8 still no sim card detected,is it hardware issue?my imei is ok also....
Had the same problem.Dropped it once. The day i dropped it,SIM couldn't be detected. Then i got the sim out of phone, inserted couple of times.Following day i had no problems.Just try insertin/taking out for couple of times,it might help.If not, then hardware got damaged.
