But all it is is a launcher... It's like telling someone on eclair to install the old version of ADW launcher to be on Froyo and then theming it with the GB theme to be on Gingerbread. I thought this would at least be a theme.

I'd like to try this just for a little change but I'm having that issue with the icons at the bottom of the screen too.
I hear it doesn't look right on our phones because of our softkey navigation buttons, which adds a few more pixels.

I'm currently modifying the app and resizing it so the icons line up, and also adding another home screen row.

Install widgetsoid to get a very similar feature. you can customize how it looks, which can look really nice. see screenshot. Only downside is that its not always on top, no big deal. The tappable toggles only work in ICS, anything lower seems to open a separate popup no matter what you tap. So SGN users, this is perfect!

I don't think the op is looking for a market app. He is looking for a systemui.apk mod like the sgs2 has and cm7 has baked in.
OP I am very confident we will see this soon as soon as devs become more familiar with ics. Until then I guess you could try a market app that the other Guy referred to

There's another option. Download Elixir 2 and Elixir 2 Widget. It's a great free App for system info, and also has homescreen widgets and notification bar Widgets. Very easy to customize and should work great for you all.

Create the widget as you please.
Scroll on bottom, go to advanced
Check notification
Place it on any screen.
Then open the app in the app drawer.
Scroll down in 'advanced' until you get to widget visibility, check it.
Save and your good.
You can also place more than one row... look at next post. =)

I love being able to theme the status bar. You can't use all of the icons for the battery, you have to use the 1% icons....the others wont work right unless your original battery icon does not have percentage.
I am using the ICS theme with UnNamed rom and now everything is that awesome blue color with pink and purple throughout by using the theme manager to change some things. If they work on it enough, it could be like the CM7 TMobile ThemeChooser app as far as theming goes. It is a very cool app.
I've been on the fence about purchasing the paid version, mainly to be able to change the color of the status bar icons. Don't know if it's worth $5 just for that, but the app in general is awesome so I'll probably pick it up to donate.
i use this all the time especially to change fonts!!
I was able to make this happen. Lol.

I tried changing my battery icon and my phone freaked out after reboot. Alot of other things seem to work but I'm afraid to change any themes or icons.
I'm afraid also because this is an app that multiple phones can use.
You start getting bad stuff happen when changing random things. Most of these ROMs have built in theme options.

If you have a battery mod already that does 1% increments, then only use the ones in the toolbox that are 1%, then reboot when it's done. Hopefully that helps a little.

Modding the stock launcher is pointless when you can replace it with Nova or Trebuchet, imo...
Nova barely takes less resources than stock launcher I heard..
The same was for me. Several weeks ago i asked to post launcher without search box, and was bombarded with answers about other launchers.
If i wanted to use nova or other i wouldnt ask to post modified one. Please be on topic

It's annoying to fork, mod and build a package just for one person and make a nice flashable zip for them too. Especially when other stuff is around which can do the same thing.
You could look into how to do it yourself. Then you'll know how to do so in the future. I think the better question to ask is how do I mod the launcher to how I see fit, rather then ask someone to do it for you. This is a development forum. I don't want to come off as condoning or anything, but I've found with all the info and resources on XDA, its better how to learn how to do something so that way one you can help out later in the future, or at least that's how I imagine this site is supposed to run.
