All,
Is there anything anything that can be downloaded to add the power controls to the notification menu?
I know Cyanogen has this baked in as does Touch Wiz - I'm just wondering if there is an easy APK that does this though?
Here is a screenshot showing the types of options I'm asking for:

As has been said more than a few times already in various threads, widgetsoid.

Install widgetsoid to get a very similar feature. you can customize how it looks, which can look really nice. see screenshot. Only downside is that its not always on top, no big deal. The tappable toggles only work in ICS, anything lower seems to open a separate popup no matter what you tap. So SGN users, this is perfect!

I don't think the op is looking for a market app. He is looking for a systemui.apk mod like the sgs2 has and cm7 has baked in.
OP I am very confident we will see this soon as soon as devs become more familiar with ics. Until then I guess you could try a market app that the other Guy referred to

This does nothing .... what am i doing wrong ?
I don't even see the notification option in the Advanced menu... Do I have to enable/disable something else to get those options to appear?
Derp...I found it, it's in the Advanced options for each widget, not in the general app Advanced screen. >_<
This works much better on ics then gb. Does every thing I need. And I have my own thread on this topic

can someone do a quick tutorial to set this up so the widgets can be added to the notification drop down screen please?
There's another option. Download Elixir 2 and Elixir 2 Widget. It's a great free App for system info, and also has homescreen widgets and notification bar Widgets. Very easy to customize and should work great for you all.

Create the widget as you please.
Scroll on bottom, go to advanced
Check notification
Place it on any screen.
Then open the app in the app drawer.
Scroll down in 'advanced' until you get to widget visibility, check it.
Save and your good.
You can also place more than one row... look at next post. =)

But all it is is a launcher... It's like telling someone on eclair to install the old version of ADW launcher to be on Froyo and then theming it with the GB theme to be on Gingerbread. I thought this would at least be a theme.

Can't set any security on it, therefore this is useless to me. But as for functionality, it worked flawlessly on Darkside Evolution v8. Notification drop down did indeed work along with the camera launch.
The only thing I dont like about these lockers is that pressing the home button from the lockscreen unlocks it, I saw an option on this locker to disable that, but it ended up disabling the home button completely

I managed to get the CM10 quick reply working on the Samsung jellybean roms. All you have to do is extract the MMS.apk from the CM10 roms, copy it over to your system/app folder and set permissions to match the rest of the system apps.
I also renamed the Secmms.apk to Secmms.apk.bak then restarted the phone. It works perfectly.

Mod, are you planning on doing one for the Official AT&T JB? :fingers-crossed:
Question about toggle choices.
I am guessing this mod has come from other phones besides the SGS3, but I am curious that I have never seen anyone integrate the "power saving" mode that the SGS3 has into the the toggle choices. For me, I like the addition of the data on/off, but miss the loss of the power saving mode on/off.
In the end, most custom roms I have seen integrate this mod, but we still lose out functionality. I can only assume that I am the only one that misses it, and thus in the end, if I want both, I need to do it. However, I bring it up to see if perhaps I am not alone, and maybe there is a demand.
