Hi to all!
After trying almost every app that locks the screen and keys so it can prevent accidentally pressing the answering key or reject or both :-D i decide to build my own (had a little extra time).
This is a specially light release for HTC Diamond, HD, Touch Pro (v1.0 and v1.1 tested by me)
WHAT IT CAN DO:
The only thing that it can do is lock the buttons and screen when you switch on your phone or an incoming call has arrived.
USAGE:
To unlock just slide down a 45% (could be a user define value... later) of the screen and..... that's it!
SETUP:
No setup (yet) just create a folder in your \Program Files (ex. \Program Files\LockMeLite) and after you download the .zip file extract it and copy the LockMeLite.exe and the CloseLmL.exe to the folder you've just create.
Execute it and your good to go.
EXIT:
Want to exit the application?
v1.0 just tap 3 times on the screen and a message will appear.
v1.1 just execute CloseLmL and select 'Yes' on the message.
REBOOT:
After a reboot you must manually start the application again.
RUNTIME:
Requires .NET Compact Framework 3.5
This is the required runtime library from MS. If you don't have it.
If you are having problem downloading this try to right click on the link and choose "Save link as..."
After downloading copy the file to your mobile and execute it.

Great application. Looks and feel super. The only features i miss is to display missed calls and sms notification on screen and also incoming caller display. You writes that you already made these features.

but a must is incoming caller . also on icoming calls the bottom bar is flickering ... the one where the keyboard icon sits .

Yes i know it's the phones app that is trying to come in front.
I will leave this "bug" for later release

just name and number ... for eg . simple , elegant .
must think of a way (clever way) to answer the phone safely . it happens often to me to reject an incoming call or answer by mistake when i pull it out of the jacket or pants (don't think dirty , ok ! )

So when you pull it out of you jacke or pants (i don't think dirty) you slide the 45% and also answer/reject the call ???? Men you have some clever jacket/pants
If the slide would be not from top to bottom but bottom to top ?? (if i get you correctly) or you just slide it in your pocket upside down.

And an option to toggle off the 3 taps to end the program. Or make more taps cause if I pull it out of my pocket I happens that I tap the touchdisplay.

Until i upload the .NET Compact Framework 3.5 runtime try to download it from MS
You must install first this on your pc and then get the appropriate .cab (ex wm,ppc,wce) from the install directory and install it on your device.
May we see some screen shots?

it's really simple ... black screen , clock on top . when you slide your finger down a % appears . when go over 45% it turns green and when you lift your finger the screen is unlocked.

installed the app and it works very well on power off/on. - very nice and simple.
Then I had an incoming call while it was off and the screen didnt come up locked - it was straight into the answer ignore screen and unlocked ?

how can i create a shortcut that will always take me to the dialer/keypad. what i mean is that if check my call log and the press return button, next time i will open phone app it will take me to the log tab which makes me to use my other hand to tap on keypad tab.

Hey, I found a solution (after almost year after the problem was posted)
Create a temp contact with some minimum number. ex. you can create a contact named 'dummy' and number as 0 or +91 which is applicable for every number you dial in India. Install DesktopVisualizer. then create its widget(1x1) and ask it to launch shortcut of type 'direct dial', select above created contact as target. Now, DesktopVisualizer has a limitation that from a widget, it can not directly dial a contact instead it will launch dialer tab with that number typed in there. We can use this limitation to solve our purpose. Check check box that says launch dial pad blah blah. and done. this widget click will launch dialer tab for you. the number we gave is 0 or +91, so it dose not affect dialing any number ahead.

it should not... this is just dialer app, it doesnt do anything with contacts...

standalone app (this) vs. modified system package (Contacts.apk)
Kamma, great work,In this dialer, you see the photo of the contact when they call you a full screen? I wanted to ask if it would be possible to make a modification in the program so that when we have a call to show us the contact picture to full screen?, That is when we make a call, see the photo full size, but when got the call only see a quarter of the picture.
Although I think that the photo of the contact is in the Phone.apk and this dialer should be in the contacts.apk

Hello. Since I noticed our little gingerbread stock ROMs/custom based on GB don't have Reject call with SMS or to set a timer to remind us to call that person I decided to create a app to do exactly that
Instructions:
1) Install your version. PT is for Portugal, E is for English.
2) Go to app drawer and run the application. It will say "Application SGSIICall started". Now it will be in your system running as a background process.(~8mb)
3) If you want to simply stop it, go to the new configuration menu and click on the "V" arrow on the SGS2Call Status to disable it.
3.1) If you want to really close the process(and therefore wasting battery), go to Settings->Aplications->And stop it.
Auto-updater Notes:
1) Slide the finger to the right(over the arrow), it will open the button to access the autoupdater.
2) On the autoupdater you have the Magnifying glass so u check for new versions, if theres one avaiable another button will appear to download it.
3) On clicking the download button it will automaticly download the file, unless theres no internet connection. If tahts the case, a error will show.
4) After the download is done, it will prompt you if u want to install the new version.
Note: On 2G network it will take more then 30s to download. On 3G around 5-10sec and on Wifi around 1-3seconds. (My own tests). Also theres no warning the the file is downloading. If you pressed the button and no warning appears in 1-5 seconds then the file is downloading. I'll try to make smth for this in the next version.
How to use:
1) Drag your finger where the arrow is pointing(up) [The starting point is the arrow, of course].
1.1) Menu: 4 custom buttons to auto reject the call+send a sms depending what u have choosen(work, playing, eating, studying)
1.2) Timer Button(Clock Icon): Set a time that u want to call again. It will reject the call after u set the time and push the "V" button. Later it will pop up a notification depending on the time u set, and if u click the notification it will auto-recall the number u rejected.
1.3) Custom SMS Button(SMS Icon and a "+"): It allows you to set your own custom SMS.
2) When receiving a call, you can face your phone down(for 1-2 seconds), and it will auto-reject the call and send a sms saying you are busy at the moment.
3) If you want to drag back(recoil) the SMS menu(go back to the menu with the arrow) - Long press on any Menu item(working, studying, etc) and choose the "V" arrow.
4) To access the new Configuration menu, you just need to click on SGS2Call icon on the app drawer
Exceptions: Not exporting the app with exceptions anymore, since the new update (1.6) you can select to disable individual parts of the app.
Permissions:
Disable_Keyguard: To enable app when a call is received.
READ_PHONE_STATE: To know when the phone is facing down to reject the call.
Receive_BOOT_COMPLE: To start at boot.(i think)
Modify_PHONE_STATE: To add the notification to your status bar, to call the person.
SEND_SMS: To send the SMS.
WRITE_SMS: To write the SMS.
CALL_PHONE: To call the person if you click the notification.
WAKE_LOCK: To wake the phone if any action is done.

sorry bUT maybe I misunderstood about the function. but can we just reject the call and have quick SMS option ? it exist in cyanmobile x which I like the most.… but stock rom are more stabil for daily use ..

Yes, try it. Install the App, then go to App drwaned and run the App. You will get a flash message saying: "Application SGSIICall started". Then when you receive a call, the app will appear, and you have 2 buttons: Acept call and reject call. If you LONG PRESS the reject call button, you have option to send quick sms or to set a timer to end the call and remind you with a notification when taht time arrives
If you download pleas leave a reply, some people aren't saying anything
And if you can contribute with nice looking icons would be cool!

Instructions:
1) Install
2) Go to app drawer and run the application. It will say "Application SGSIICall started". Now it will be in your system running as a background process.(~8mb)
3) If you want to stop it, go to Settings->Aplications->And stop it.
How to use:
1) Drag your finger where the arrow is pointing(up) [The starting point is the arrow, of course].
1.1) Menu: 4 custom buttons to auto reject the call+send a sms depending what u have choosen(work, playing, eating, studying)
1.2) Timer Button(Clock Icon): Set a time that u want to call again. It will reject the call after u set the time and push the "V" button. Later it will pop up a notification depending on the time u set, and if u click the notification it will auto-recall the number u rejected.
1.3) Custom SMS Button(SMS Icon and a "+"): It allows you to set your own custom SMS.
2) When receiving a call, you can face your phone down(for 1-2 seconds), and it will auto-reject the call and send a sms saying you are busy at the moment.
Exceptions: I can remove point 1) or point 2) and export as .apk if u want/don't want that specific function.
Permissions:
Disable_Keyguard: To enable app when a call is received.
READ_PHONE_STATE: To know when the phone is facing down to reject the call.
Receive_BOOT_COMPLE: To start at boot.(i think)
Modify_PHONE_STATE: To add the notification to your status bar, to call the person.
SEND_SMS: To send the SMS.
WRITE_SMS: To write the SMS.
CALL_PHONE: To call the person if you click the notification.
WAKE_LOCK: To wake the phone if any action is done.

I have no idea. I'm running StockLite 7.1 with battery extender 1.2 and it installs just fine. Also my girlfriend using it on stock 2.3.6(galaxy gio) and it's working fine aswell Maybe you don't have select install from unknow sources? Go to Settings->Applications and select "Unknown Sources".

Well I don't know how to mod them. I just use Tasker and create my own apps. You'll have to use this as it is

Is it possible to hide the names of apps. on the home screen whithout a launcher ?
With a simple application ?

click icon hold it down till see edit up top drag it then you can delete its name and the icon has no text under it

I can not reproduce at all the action...
How do you manage it without a launcher ?
When I click icon hold it down , I have only two options : delete or get information about the app.
But no way to edit or delete the name: (
oh it worked with settings icon on main screen
maybe it just works with the stock icons was
just a test ..

i was on a rom also that could have been why
it dont work on stock though maybe theres a
hack for it out there
If nothing else works you can also install Desktop Visualizer, add a 1x1 or 1x1S widget and assign an app without using a name for the widget :good:
