Hey all. Just got my device. Coming from the epic 4g. Released 2 great roms there. Beginning work on one for the hercules.
My question for you is... What features are you yearning for?
On my short list so far is a volume rocker mod. This allows you to go from silent to vibrate to full sound without choosing vibration options.
What else would you like to see?

Looking forward to it.
Currently syncing Kernel sources for our device. Going to be working on getting BLN, OC/UV, Schedulers and various others incorporated.
Anyone know why no one has tried to compile a kernel with Voodoo color support? I know sound isnt going to happen, but Voodoo color might help. Especially with everyone running into dark caves to see blobs and such.
Also have you guys ever seen the 10 locks mod?
I know juggernaut [awesome rom] has 4 locks. I'm going to be working on porting the 10 locks mod here.

Just so you know. I lol'ed my ass off to this man. I'm super excited to see more Devs coming in I think voodoo colors would be awesome! Id be interested in seeing the 10 lock mod as well!
if you are going to compile a kernal the drivers for 2d on our source is not right...lots of stutter...faux used the skyrocket one and the difference is amazing....welcome to our forum just put your Roman on my buddies epic today so I recognized the name...look forward to your work
It would be great to get car dock call audio to output through the dock's 3.5mm jack. I've been looking everywhere, and all I can find is "it has to be enabled in the kernel, it's not a stock functionality", which really sucks.
I would still like the Screen Capture thing we have. Home+power button. And some themes that google mightve made.. nothingg to over the top. Plain and easy to the eyes. And put alot of battery tweaks and init.d scripts in it! But also make it to where its responsive and the animations are smooth like we would have as an exynos processor. I really liked the work I saw while visiting tthe epic 4G forum. Oh and last but not least! A modded camera so we can have a power button when we are in the app and press the power button it'll snap a pic. You should ask whitehawkx about it if u don't know how!

Good ondemand governor or lagfree. make sure that the cpu work correctly. STOCK UNTHEMED. Bravie Engine and xLoud. Add Thunderbolt, V6, unvier Adredaline, all those type of tweaks. Theme configuration from settings. CPU configuration from settings. Modded Clockwork MOD :3 If you can... Kernel tweaks are OC CPU/GPU .... Enhance 2D and 3D ... SD Tweaks..
Good battery life and compact toggles in notification bar

As it's been repeated. We need the device tree. Basically, we need CM9 to come out first. THEN, all MIUI can be achieved.
And a cool long mystical rom name x3

Before I rooted the damn phone I had Ginger Bread on it, and quite frankly I enjoyed looking at the notification bar and seeing how basic it was. To me the whole concept of the stock theme was pretty sweet because it was just simple. I'm sure there's a theme that looks like this but I haven't been able to find one, so I decided to post here hoping for a few links from the people who know what I'm talking about. If you can't tell by reading this I am a n00b so id appreciate it if you guys weren't dicks about this... thanks!

EI22 IS Gingerbread. If u want a "stock Gingerbread look", why not just flash Toad's Clean GB ROM, its the closest thing to stock untouched GB with lots of little goodies/tweaks

Yeah I know its ei22, I was jus5 being specific so nobody thinks I want it for el30, and I think I mixed up gb with froyo. So if you know of any froyo themes for ei22 id appreciate it!

??? Why would you want a crappy theme? Just flash cm7 and find cm7 themes on the market. There is one called cm7 galaxy s theme that is like our froyo. If you attempted at grammar and didn't swear I could probably help better. I don't even know what version/rom your phone is on...
1. What rom are you on
2. What is your android version (2.2/2.3/4.0)
3. What theme do you want (2.2/2.3)
4. If you are on gingerbread, just flash cleangb or stockish rom.

Yea I'm well aware my grammar was bad as it was 3 in the morning when I posted that and I was tired, but when I flash to cleangb my colors are, well they're just weird... they are way off from where they are when I'm marcusant rom... and I download voodoo controls but it says my kernel isn't support when it is (samurai). And the color thing is the same for cm7... I appreciate your help!

Yes, the hue and tint is very off. But I fixed it and put my magic to the works and got it working! All I did was open the zip on my pc and change the kernels lol but its fixed now. I'm on Clean GB 1.1.2 and is fitting me well. My only complain is that the notification bar is black, I'm not a themer do I don't know if that's the framework.apk or not so I'll just let it be until a theme I like is released!

Hey,
I'm looking for a kernel that supports voodoo sound, but doesnt use voodoo color. Configuring voodoo color sounds like more hassle than it's worth, since I'm perfectly happy with stock color. Don't want to have to fiddle with settings.
Are there any custom kernels that support this?
Can voodoo color be disabled in a kernel that supports it?
Nope but I have voodoo settings you can go by that I think look great...

Exactly, my feeling is that since I'm perfectly happy with the stock colors, I'd rather just have one less thing to have to mess with and tweak.
And we're definitely not alone..

Thanks for the link to the kernel. Currently I'm on cm7 running their stock kernel, and the linked kernel one looks like it's for cm9. Any ideas if one exists for cm7 without voodoo color?

1. Not forcing just stating
2. There is no tweaking just slide some sliders and see what looks nice that's it my 2 year old cousin could do that.
3. Voodoo color wasn't created for nothing lol
4. Plus if you don't want to "tweak" Voodoo Color stays on stock intill you mess with it. So you can use the kernel without caring for VColor just go to colors and hit default wa la stock plus benefits of that kernel that may not be in another kernel
Again not forcing just stating somethings is all

Lost... just stop dude, please just stop. The thread isn't for "opinions on voodoo color" it's for "a kernel with voodoo sound but no voodoo color". The question was already addressed yet you go on and on and on and on about why voodoo color is better. Your opinion isn't the point. Some of us like it stock. Some of us just don't wanna have to worry about it and like how it looks just fine. Also, the inclusion of voodoo color right away changes the colors and brightness and it is not "stock", and most kernel devs have their own idea of what's "best" built into voodoo color on boot till you change it.

This isn't a post to try and persuade the OP into voodoo color, but I'm almost certain there is an option within the settings to leave them as they are for stock, right? If the OP found a kernel that has both, he can still technically use voodoo color, but not adjust anything, correct?

Purple greys at low brightness are a hardware defect. Adjusting that would make other colors appear very strange.

Look for the Trickster Mod app in the app section. It allows for tweaking the colours as well if you have a compatible kernel.

Would like to know if there is a simple edit to send over 160 characters on stock mms app. Also would like to know if there are any tips to keep my phones ram from maxing out all the time never had this issue so don't know how to adjust it. When it starts to max out the rom is very laggy. Love the rom my hats off to sac and team.

THANK YOU!
This rom is GREAT! I have tried a few and this one if by far my favorite. Question though: I feel as if I am getting way more volume than I wanted, is there a volume mod/boost on this thing that I am not aware of? Also, the acid sound mod and sound enchancements (in system settings) - what do they do? I have been tring to figure out the ins and outs of this rom, I found out how to use multiwindow from another user, but is there a general guide for all these features some where that I'm missing? I just donated to SAC today for all his hard work, it's greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Chemistry Rom is that deal I love how me having my phone flashed to boost and being able to use all the main functions like mms and voice mail all working with this ROM. Now what will be great if we can get call record added into it...

Lockscreen issue
Been running this ROM for a few days now and I've run into this issue a couple times. Sometimes when my phone restarts the lockscreen is rotated 90 degrees and I cant do anything. The only thing that seems to fix it is wiping dalvik. Any ideas as to whats going on here? It's obviously not a huge issue, but it's annoying.
Been using this for weeks. Its awesome, everything works. Just wondering if it'll work if I flash ma6 update? I just don't wanna screw up a good thing.

Thank you so much for rom, but a few questions.
Thank you so much sac23, this rom is amazing and the perfect solution for anyone who wants a stock TW feel rom with added functionality.
Ive been running the rom for about 2 weeks now, i have a couple questions, and a single bugs i may have found on this otherwise 100% perfect rom.
first, i had the phone crash 2-3 times. once was when switching between apps... the actual window that pops up to force close the app because it crashed has some !$# thing on the options. I also experienced this is i save a game file, on asphalt7 and leave the game by "quitting" although its not only isolated to this exact app, i am able to replicate it regularly.
second, i had a few questions
1- is there any way to make the toggles not shrink the icons when it gets to the last 10% of closing the notification menu? it makes it look twitchy when you open it fast.
2- i was checking out this "criskelo toggles" add on you put, but if i do it, how do i revert back if i dont like it?
3- is there any way to change the battery icon in the notification menu so that it doesnt display a percentage INSIDE the battery? i prefer using the stock percentage next to the battery, so its annoying having 2 battery percentages.
4-where can i donate? you guys deserve a reward for your work =P
I just wanted to update with a bug or two I found.
1-after taking a screenshot, pulling down the expanded notification drawer, clicking edit causes a force close/crash.
2- Gps tag in stock tw camera app is broken.
Das it! Thanks again devs
