I recently got a replacement HTC and I went to change the beats audio settings to beats studio but the option wasn't there but it was on my old phone. Why?
ensure you have a headset plugged in

Not likely. I believe that it is more hardware related for htc beats phones. However, if you want your phone to sound like beats might as well set up the bass on the equalizer way up.

Beats has been put in other older htc phones and cooked into some roms as well like the desire hd ect.

Yeap. Just as I suspected.

Its more of an souped-up equalizer. DSP manager should work equally well. Just a quick question. Are you using the default ear phones? Or really nice expensive ones.
One last thing, to answer your question. This would not be possible as the HTC music app requires sense dependent frameworks. Bottom line, we need a htc sense port first.
Beats audio doesn't appear in the status bar for me. nor even the stock music app when playing music does it appear. Is there something wrong that I'm doing does anybody have any insight on this?

are you using beats headphones? I think it recognizes if they're Monster Beats or not, then activates the profile.
does not need beats headphones. any will do. working fine here with my jvc headphones . beats comes on and stays on until i remove headphone
Mine Works good, even when he is sending a message through whatsapp. Maybe an app is interfering with beats?

Not sure I'm not using beats but I plug them in and nothing happens while the music is playing. Then ill plug them out and back in then it appears. Halfway through the song it disappears. Think ill just factory reset it. Thanks for the comments!!

Hi.
Is there a way to get beats working with player pro? Reason is I really dislike the stock music player and find it poorly designed. Player pro is perfect for me but the beats audio doesn't have any effect.

I would love to know if this is possible!
I am using PowerAmp and the beats are working, probably that it isn't working with all players.Try to check if you didn't disable it.

I'm also using PowerAmp but in PowerAmp you have the ability to disabled DVC (Direct Volume Control) thereby enabling Beats.
Not sure if there is an option like that in PlayerPro
I know there's a few ROMs that have enabled system wide Beats.
As well as PowerAmp, UberMusic also works with BeatsAudio.
I have Player Pro it works fine with Beats. I also using Extreme Sound Enhancer 10.0. If it's not check under the Settings > Audio there you should fine an option something like use ROM sound setting or something like that. Don't have my phone with me to check
Beats and other audio effects are system wide, poweramp does not seem to like beats very much, you can enable sound effects in settings>sound>sound enhancer but the audio effects can only be enabled with headphones.

I have extrme audio as well but I don't see any settings. Can you check on your phone ?

So far I am satisfied with the quality of the sound played with stock player. Bass and treble are perfectly balanced in my ears.

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew/knows a way to fully integrate my beats by dre headset functionality to my desire. The only button that works is the play/pause & pick-/hang-up.. I was hoping to be able to turn the volume up and down and etc too.
I'm using ICS for desire from sandvold and data++ hboot. My headset is a beats by dre pro hd.
Thanks in advance!

i dont think that the solo hd can be full integreted with the desire thats why i bought my ibeats for desire
Well I imagined that someone might have made a port of the beats by dre integration in some of the newer HTC phones and made that available for the Desire. But well, I guess that's not the case.

Not sure if its what ur looking for but go the play store and search Beats audio. Theres some kind of software for it u can download. Also the ROM RunnyMede AIO s/e supports beats by dre
Sent from my HTC Desire
I tried installing that piece of software from the market and it didn't really change anything except for the fact that the sound out of the headset is better.
What I was looking for was some sort of way to enable the controls on the headset cord. All I can do at this point is pause/resume music and pick up/hang up incoming phone calls.
The headset is still a beats by dre pro hd, but I am planning on buying a pair of beats by dre studio in the near future.

How to disable Beats Audio in the notification bar on JB?
This could be done in ICS by disabling beats notification in Apps, however HTC removed this in JB.

This bugs me too, but I don't think there's anything that can be done about it without rooting the phone and some hacking... :/

Go to settings> Beats Audio and switch it off. It'll only work when you have your headphones plugged in.
For rooted device
If you have unlocked your bootloader (rooted your phone) then : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1973781
