Weirdest thing. After running MIUI ICS 2.4.6, which does have a bug with key lights (Somehow you have to turn them on with a toggle on the quick settings screen, then turn off auto brightness), I just restored my stock/rooted ROM and no keylights.
Then I flashed 4 Korners and still no keylights and anyone who knows me know I'm a psycho about wiping before I flash a new ROM
Any ideas?

Use latest MIUI XJ - X-PArt version. It won't happen.
Search for it in the Desire Android Developement section.
thanks
using XDA App
Hi. I know about the customs roms and the posibility of burn led torch. But I never flashed my phone (just rooting it), and this is the first time. I've downloaded the motorola update software, and waited to update. I've see that a sbf was flashed in the procedure (i have it archieved). Now, it works fine, but I've realized two things:
* I've lost the Stock 848*480 video recording (yes, In my stock rom that comes as default). Now the max is VGA (640x480).
* The flashlight torch doesn't work with Extended controls APP. When I activate it, the icon doesn't show the green status (green=on, otherwise=off). Why is this happening?
* The flashlight doesn't work on the Camcorder stock app. It says something like "The flashlight cannot be turned on in this mode". It works *ok* in the camera app.
Thanks.
(sorry for my poor english).
I won't be able to help you directly, but if I were you I would make a nandroid, than wipe cache and reinstall the update (onestly I would go for CM7 by Quarx and wait a few days till he fixes the video). Have a nice day.
try this
try a reset
shut down phone
power on+vol down
if it`s show an triangle with robot
then press again up and/or down buttons
till u get to recovery menu
wipe cahe
wipe data
good luck
Hello, guys. I have a problem with vibration on notification on silent mode. I had flashed CM7.1 yesterday, before that I had Oxygen 2.3. With Oxygen everything was ok, after flashing CM7.1 when I get message in silent mode phone does not vibrates. I tried reflashing ROM couple times, re-dowloading it but nothing helps.
On Sense ROMs everything works fine. I checked all settings in sound menu and they look fine. Tried download Sound Manager from Market and set settings to Vibrate whenever is possible. Done that and no luck there either. Maybe someone had faced this kind of situation and has experience. Every suggestion would be appreciated.
Thank you.
BTW, Phone uses CWM 5.0.2.0
Radio 32.54.00.32U_5.14.05.17
This may come off weird but I had this issue when I flashed CM7.1.0 over the nightlies I was using. I am not really sure what fixed it but I've tried playing around the sound/vibrate settings. Under settings>sound>vibrate I originally had it set to vibrate only in silent mode. But it didn't work after flashing so I changed it to vibrate always. Then I toggled it back to Only on Silent mode and it's working again.
Weird...
Changing my brightness in the settings doesn't do anything.
It seems like its stuck on auto brightness but its turned off?
I am on the latest jugg rom and kernel
you have to turn off auto, before you can change brightness
I know.
I unchecked it in settings than i start moving the slider for the brightness and nothing happens! I noticed this a few days back.
Are there any adb commands i can run thru shell for screen brightness?
check to see if you have enabled power saving mode

its disabled
edit: just downloaded some app called screen brightness off the market, doesnt do a thing! i just hope its not a hardware thing.
It used to work just fine im not sure what happened. I read on beastmod thread that melvin included "auto brightness to save battery" but after a complete wipe and fresh install of a different rom wouldnt that go away?
if you're on Juggernaut 2.5 this is normal... update to Juggernaut 2.6
if you are on 2.6 did you wipe everything?
Yes running latest jugg gear. Full wiped & fixed permissions.
Anyone have any suggestions? I've never had this problem before and I've been an android user for 3 years.
This is very strange to me. I wonder if i should go back to stock to see if the issue still persist.
I had the problem for the first time on 2.5 no matter what kernel I used. The problem is gone now on 2.6 with it's stock kernel.

interesting.. i might try and flash the stock kernel to see if it fixes the issue.
led notification doesn't work in "do not disturb" (in options "do not disturb" i activated led notification) and in silent mode (unless i activate vibration)
so, led notifcation works only if vibration or sound are also present.
happened to someone? tried to reboot/wipe cache but nothing changes
also reflashed full rom wiping everything except internal storage but nothing changed
also tried to flash different kernel but nothing changed....
any ideas?
OOS 5.0
MAGISK 14.3 (14.5)

edit: guys, only to understand, is this the normal behaviour on oreo? works the same for everyone?
can someone confirm if is problem that occurs only to me or if is standard behaviour?
just for information one plus bug hunters contacted me and i shared a log of the problem.
