Here you can find just about every kernel ever created for the Samsung Epic 4G Touch.
If you are looking for modems you can find them at the Modem Repo.
Kernels control a lot of things on your phone and having the right kernel can lead to phenomenal battery life, awesome performance and great tweaks. However, if you get the wrong kernel it can cause boot loops and other issues.
As a general reminder, I cannot and will not be held responsible for any issues that arise from improper flashing of these kernels.
Before flashing any kernels I've posted here please do three things.
1) Review the "How Not To Brick Your E4GT" thread.
2) Review the instructions on how to flash a kernel properly in Post #2.
3) If you have questions, ask! We're all here to help!
Now on to the fun stuff!
Let me first say I did not create any of these kernels I am merely taking them all and placing them all in one easy to find location. All thanks should go to those who have been anonymously giving us the leaks on which they are built and to those who have been developing them.
Please do not post direct links to the kernels on the site. All kernels are available through the links on this post. Thank you!

Nice idea to consolidate everything. With the added organization I think it's time to start thinking about getting all this stuff put into the Wiki rather than a bunch of stickied threads though.
is that your personal dropbox? if you need somewhere to host that stuff let me know.. you can put it on chris41g.devphone.org

I was actually going to be adding Agat's, sfhub's and Reactive Disorder's here in the next little bit. I had to take a quick break and spend some time with my wife.
They will be up soon!
Glad you did this, thanks for taking the time .
Since you didn't post any CM kernels and said that the AOKP kernels repacked by T.C.P are not compatible with CM, I can personally say that they are compatible but you must have SuperSU install before flashing any of those kernels or you will lose root and 4G, that is all
Fantastic idea, goes nicely with the stickied modem thread (hint hint).
Thanks for putting this together.
Yep! This needs to be stickied!
So about those cm9 kernels.... anyone care to point them out... I'm on cm9 a4 and can't seem to locate the fe16 cm9 kernel

that was quick, on EL13 modem, flashing the kernel now
yep just grabbed this about to flash it in a few minutes. Thanks for the quick update Steady you rock man
Anyone else notice that the jig no longer resets the download counter or is it just me? Either way nice work Hawkin
using EL13 modem and TNz 1.3
Quadrant
Desperado - (OC 1504 on demand) 4700
EL13 stock (no OC) 4000
Net speed WIFI
Desperado - 3.91 DL/2.14UL/ping 16
EL13 stock - 14.49DL/3.39UL/ping 22
3g (on airave)
Desperado - 0.01DL/0.10UL/ ping 849
EL13 stock - 0.03DL/0.06UL/ping 308
Def improvement on WIFI (but I did upgrade modem as well), will check 3G speeds later. Stock quadrant is quite impressive

This would be part of the bootloader changing I believe. What ROM/Kernel base were you running before flashing this kernel, and had you successfully used the jig with that setup? I had read about Samsung changing the bootloader on International GS2s that caused the jig to no longer work. It very well could be a 2.3.6 thing.
A solution could be to downgrade flash the EG30 full system TAR, use the jig, then use sfhub's autoroot and install CWM, then use recovery to flash your ROM, Kernel and Modem.

Using Calk's deodexed rom, EL13 modem and this kernel. I also cleared it on ek02 cwm kernel on the same system.
I have also flashed the new modem and Rogue kernel without any obvious unwanted side effects although I haven't really had a chance to test this out to determine if I'm experiencing any benefits.

Ok cool. So EK02 ROM and kernel, and EL13 kernel covered and confirmed working with the jig. The only difference could be if the guy who reported it flashed the stock EL13 ROM as well, which may have changed the bootloader? If not, then it sounds like some kind of coincidence.

Oh I see. I saw "Calk's ROM" and just assumed it was his EK02 based release. You meant his Deodex of stock EL13. Well, I'm at a loss then. Unless more people report it I'll chalk it up to an anomaly of some sort.

Considering the issues that others have reported using Rogue recovery to flash in ICS I opted for the tar and odin mobile. Worked perfectly and is safer as far as I can tell.

You could ... It just greatly increases the chances of bricking your phone ... but it works just fine for new modems, themes, and kernels. Seriously though, don't flash a ROM with it. Better safe than sorry.

I use these repacks to flash beta ics roms... bricking comes from people using rom manager to flash... don't listen to him... Matter of fact I used el29 recovery to flash to fc02 then every one after that I used these with out problem or bricking...

Actually no your wrong on the bricking, its iCS related period, steady bricked his too buddy, rom manager is a helper as well.

I strongly agree with this opinion. I have an experience having hard time with Rom Manager (Toolbox). I believe Rom Manager is still GB based for D710 and it's not working well with D710 ICS Rom. ROM Toolbox seems like working well except the recovery functions.
has anyone one gave in and tried this with CM9 yet? if not here goes nothing!
screenshot after flashing Rogue FC07 Kernel & reboot (Confirmed entering to Rogue recovery mode)
Everything is now showing FC07.
blooming hell, yellow triangle .. thank goodness for triangle away
just curious why you wouldn't want to repack with stock cwm since we are having issues with rogue? I assume its because it wouldn't make any difference but I have no idea.
Thanks once again for the repack!!
wow this kernel is amazing fco6 i got about 3800 quadrant .

Good question. It probably doesn't matter.
Sent from my Super Sexy Epic Touch.
From what I hear, the issues are when you format and go between GB and ICS. I've got the Best Buy Black Tie, so I'm not all that afraid of bricking (aside from having to spend too much time in a Best Buy ... I always walk out with less money than I walked in! lol) but if the Dev tells me not to do something because it could possibly give ya the ol' BLD (Blue light of Death for the noobs ) I tend to play it safe. Just one guys thoughts on the matter.
Fb07 modem and kernel with venum's fb06 rom no issues my bad fc lol
Also gps locks fast, about 5 sec after using gps status.

thanks man!
I know this says do not flash, but is that related to CM roms? I have been using rogue fc07 to flash all the ICS calk and agat rooms that have come out and had zero issues. I'm assuming its a warning for MIUI and CM9 users since the other roms were based from stock fc18, but if I'm wrong lemme know.

I'd just take the advice and if you wanna ride like some of us go for it. I was just on FC15 at work flashed the FC07 Rogue so I could flash the FC18 rom. All went well and normally i ODIN back to EL29 but i was in a hurry.
From what I have seen, stock roms maybe, custom roms maybe not. The people doing the testing say there is risk I believe them. But when I am sleep deprived at 7 am I do stupid things....
Using this to flash recoveries and kernels ok? LIke so I can flash back to FB27 and use that to flash a rom, then reflash this kernel and recovery afterwards?
By the way, thank you so much! You do suck awesome stuff for us. We owe you BIG TIME! Thanks!!!!!!

No, it applies to other ICS ROMs too. I was stuck in a bootloops before flashing Blend ICS and also Blazer ICS with FC07. To be safe, you should just flash back FB21 and then reboot Recovery to flash.
Unbelievably smooth awesome work.. on cm9!! Perfection!!

I still don't understand how people are bricking their phones by flashing ICS-related things from within these CWM repacks. I've been flashing ICS ROM's and mods in these kernels and NEVER EVER had an issue.

Grabbed if from SH's twitter yesterday; flashed and running great. Agat63 rolled it into his tFC22 ROM he updated early this morning; I think reviews are pretty positive.
