[Q] Problem with kindle fire pls help me.

I accidentally deleted kindle fire system files and now i can do anything.
Is any way to reload operating system from scratch?

Deleting files from the system folder only affects the current rom(or as you call it, operating system) and doesn't affect ADB or the TWRP recovery program. You can use TWRP to install a new rom, even the stock Kindle rom.
I can't post links, so search google for "kindle fire software update" and you should find amazon's page to download the latest stock rom for the kindle fire. Rename the file to update.zip and transfer it to the storage on your kindle. You can then use TWRP to select the zip file and re-install the stock kindle rom. This WILL break your root, so use the Kindle Fire utility that's linked in the development forum if you want to re-root your kindle.
If you don't have TWRP installed, try using the Kindle Fire Utility (in the development forum) to install TWRP or recover your kindle fire. I hope this helps!

The kindle its not mine it belongs to my boss.He tried to root it deleted some files i think its not rom problem but something else.Is any way to load rom and install it from the pc.can't access kindle the only thing i find on my pc is a winre drive with 2 files sources and boot.sdi.i try everything all utilties on internet all suggentions but nothing.TWRP is a utility that runs from device or pc?

TWRP is the recovery program that you can boot into before the rom loads. You can use the Kindle Fire Utility to install TWRP. If the kindle fire utility isn't working, you can try installing TWRP manually, but you will also need to install FireFireFire, which is the boot loader that replaces the stock kindle loader and allows you to boot into TWRP.
The most important thing is to have ADB access. If you can plug the kindle fire into your PC and get ADB working, you can fix pretty much anything.

you should get a response from one of the commands

I have to mention when in b63 post where your in the tools folder it easier to right click inside that folder in an empty space within it, and then press the keyboard's shift key for an option from the right clicked dropdown to open a command prompt window right there. Then type adb devices followed by enter key. Optimum would be a device ##000000000 sorta output in that tiny window , whereas then you could close it and click run in the kindle fire utility from the download. You can see more options to root your device to here with "status info".

You're getting confused with how adb and fastboot work. I suggest reading this to get a better understanding.

Thanks, I have read it like 3 times, it's just a little confusing for someone dealing with rooting for the first time. What I get is that I need to get the KF come up on Windows so I can paste the rom into the KF and that the KF needs to be in fastboot to install the rom.
Anyway, now the Kindle shows up on KFU as "online" and the bootmode is "4000", but still nothing comes up on the explorer. Twrp is installed and I'm able to load it, but I did not make a Backup. How can I install the system again?

If twrp is installed when you boot into it click on mount, then click mount usb, this is the only way it's going to show up as a mass storage device on your pc so that you can transfer a rom over to it.

Put both zips on your sdcard in zip form, wipe factory/data reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, wipe system, flash rom zip, flash gapps zip, reboot then system if prompted.

[Q] Stuck in Recovery Boot TWRP

TLDR: i system restored my kindle using the KF launcher. cant get past TWRP and KFU says im still in Recovery mode 5001. (TWRP 2.0.0 KFU 0.9.5)
When i selecte 1. Bootmode menue -> 1. Normal <4000> all i get out of KFU is "The system cannot find the drive specified.
Soooo i used the KFU 0.9.5 on my kindle fire 6.3 to root and install FIREFIREFIRE and TWRP. Then i installed google play store. Then google said to update my kindle app and i was all "yeah yeah w/e w/e." Well that update maid it so that my kindle kindle build in app wouldnt read any of my books or documents. This troubled me. Since it is late at night i figured i would just system restore and reinstall the root and stuff since KFU makes it all so easy.
Now im stuck in REcovery boot 5001 and cant get further than TWRP. pretty sure EVERYTHING is wiped, which isnt an issue, i jsut want my kindle to do its thing.
So i read around on the forums and realize i have 2 options, try to install and flash Kindle software 6.3 onto it using TWRP or 2. just get the kindle out of recovery and back into normal boot 4000.
HOWEVER, when i try to use KFU to boot into normal mode i get "the system cannot find the drive specified."
any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been reading around on the forums but am hesitant to move forward and make the problem any worse than it already is.
so what do i do?

Try this:
Turn Kindle off
Uninstall/delete drivers
Reinstall drivers
Navigate to KFU's tools folder containing fastboot.exe
Shift + right-click on the tools folder
Select Run in Command prompt (or something like that)
When the prompt comes up, enter:
fastboot oem idme bootmode 4000 (if firefirefire is installed)
or
fastboot -i 0x1949 oem idme bootmode 4000 (if firefirefire is not installed)
When it says "<waiting for device>“ turn the Kindle on
Your prompt should reflect the change but it may not (wait about 30 sec.)
Hold power button for 30 sec to shut down
The device should boot normally

i was only ever able to find the drivers for the kindle to delete them when it was plugged in and operating normally as a kindle. where do i go about finding them now in Win 7 x64?
not to be a complete nub. i did a qick google search and searched "device manager" but that was result-less.
should i just install the drivers again w/o uninstalling them? will that handle it properly? after this hiccup i cant wait to try what you suggested to fix it.

I don't use Windows, for this and so many other reasons. If you can only delete the drivers with the device plugged in, then do so. You may want to reboot afterwards though.
Then reinstall your drivers, turn the device off and carry on.

in case anyone else is looking, i didnt uninstall the drivers but instead re-ran the drivers install.bat in KFU, then did as told. im now at the Kindle Fire screen and hopefully it will boot up. IT DID.

[Q] Bricked KF2 - no OS, fastboot & TWRP available

I've read through hundreds of similar threads and haven't been able to find a solution - I'll gladly give up my firstborn (and/or make a paypal donation) to anyone who is able to help solve my issue!!
From my research, I seem to have no OS installed on the Kindle, and as far as I can tell, I'm booting into fastboot mode (screen hangs on the blue/white Kindle Fire logo, screen does not ever dim). I AM able to access TWRP Recovery, but don't have any backup to load from, am unable to successfully flash the ROM that I have saved to my SD card. My device manager recognizes the Kindle as a Kindle Fire (Android ADB Interface), no yellow triangles. Typing ADB Devices into Command Prompt gets me: [device number ] offline. Typing fastboot devices into Command Prompt gets me nothing (blank line).
Background/How I 'Bricked' It: I have a Kindle Fire 2 and was able to successfully unroot/flash Cyanogenmod 10 onto it. Worked perfectly for about 6 months, when I decided that it would be a good idea to flash back to stock so that I could give it to a relative. I have TWRP 2.3.3.0, so I used a guide on xda to do the following:
I used a guide from xda and followed these instructions
-Download latest KF2 stock software from amazon. Re-name the file to update.zip
-Moved it to the root of the SD card
-Booted in to TWRP
-Factory Wipe/Restore
-Wiped Cache
-Wiped Dalvik Cache
-Wiped System
-Installed the "update.zip"
-Wiped cache/dalvik again
-Rebooted
Unfortunately, wiping the system seems to have wiped the CM10 OS (ROM) that I had installed, and there was a failure in installing the amazon stock:

Trying to reboot the system from TWRP results in a message that states: "No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
Investigating using ADB: So it looks like I have no OS on the Kindle Fire 2. This seems to be a problem because without an OS, I am unable to use adb (from what I've read, no OS = no way to accept/authenticate the computer RSA fingerprint to whitelist the kindle and allow adb to function). Trying to use KFU, KFFirstAide, or the Kindle UnBrick Utility results in Error: Device offline or Error: Device not found types of messages (I am assuming due to the fact that I can't "turn" adb on by accepting the RSA fingerprint prompt)
What does Device Manager tell me? My computer can 'see' the Kindle Fire in device manager [as I stated earlier: My device manager recognizes the Kindle as a Kindle Fire (Android ADB Interface), no yellow triangles] but going to My Computer and looking under mass storage devices, the computer doesn't seem to recognize the device as a USB storage device, which is a problem because I can't drag/drop or push/pull files to the SD card so I can't try to flash anything *other* than the original file that failed.
Fastboot Mode...? From what I can tell (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668159), my device is in fastboot mode. My Kindle screen hangs on the blue/white Kindle Fire logo screen, which from what I understand is hashcode's bootloader/fastboot screen. However, when I look at the Hardware IDs in the device manager, it tells me that my hardware IDs are:
USB\VID_1949&PID_0006&REV_0216
USB\VID_1949&PID_0006
So...my kindle seems to be stuck on the blue/white fastboot screen, but register on my computer as the stock kindle fastboot? I'm not really sure what's going on there, and couldn't find too many people with the same discrepancy that I have...
I tried plugging in my cord (making sure to use a USB 2.0 port), going into Command Prompt and using some fastboot commands. (ie: fastboot flash bootloader \path\update.zip) but all I get is a <waiting for device> for a LONG time. As in, a few hours. Some basic googling/investigation seems to indicate that I don't have fastboot drivers installed, OR that I wasn't running fastboot in an 'elevated mode' but I haven't been able to find too many details about how to fix those, IF that is the problem.
TWRP 2.3.3.0: I can get into TWRP recovery just fine, although I can't seem to figure out how to get files onto my device. So I've tried re-installing the original update.zip file that failed the first time several times, with no success. trying to 'Mount' the device doesn't seem to do anything (at least, my computer doesn't see the device as USB storage regardless of whether it's mounted or not) I tried using Advanced --> ADB Sideload, but trying to send the file in Command Prompt using the adb sideload <filename> command just gets me an Error: Device not Found message. I thought maybe I could try Advanced --> Terminal Command, but have no idea how to do that or what it does, and most sites are very vague about the step-by-step details, so I didn't really touch it.
Not sure if this is relevant or not, but when my KF2 is plugged into (attached) to my computer with the cord and is in TWRP, device manager shows the device under 'Other Devices' --> Amazon Kindle Fire2, and there is a yellow triangle on it. Not sure why...going back to 'fastboot' mode gets rid of yellow triangles and is recognized as a Kindle Fire again.
At this point - I'm pretty much stumped and have (hopefully) demonstrated that I've done my best to do my own research/read through threads/done due diligence. Is there anyone out there that might have any suggestions? Or do I now have a very large paperweight?

Trying to use the ADB sideload feature to push CM or another ROM over doesn't seem to be working for me (unless I'm doing it wrong?)
I tried using Advanced --> ADB Sideload, but trying to send the file in Command Prompt using the "adb sideload C:\users\Name\update.zip command just gets me an Error: Device not Found message". Could I be using the command incorrectly?
Trying to use any fastboot command in Windows Command Prompt results in <waiting for device> to hang for hours, with no changes to command prompt and no changes to the kindle (still sits at the blue/white boot logo).

Sounds like you probably need the drivers installed.

Are there difference drivers for fastboot and adb? I don't get a 'yellow triangle' and my device manager identifies the device as a Kindle Fire [Android ADB Interface], so I thought I was okay.
Should I be looking for fastboot drivers?
And btw, thanks so much for your willingness to help and input!

Just purchased a KF from someone...thay had rooted it...I tried to unroot...got stuck...now mine is doing the same as yours. I hope someone has a fix for you as I too have a large paperweight.

I figured I could post in this thread before staring my own because I am having a very similar issue trying to revert my Kindle Fire 2 back to stock from cyanogen so I can sell it. I downloaded the official software from Amazon but every time I try to flash it through TWRP I get the exact same error you were getting. Did anyone ever figure out how to resolve the issue for you?

Had the same problem, so I chatted with an Amazon associate, told him I turned it on one day and it showed the grey triangle and he sent me a new Kindle Fire 2nd Gen for free. Try that...

I have rooted KF2 and I did factory reset I lost TWRP&Os I can see the device as ADB device, Howeverm when the device in fastboot the pc not recognize it.
issuing fastboot devices command return nothing.

Anyway, my Kindle Fire HD, rooted CM 10.1, will no longer boot past the orange Kindle Fire Splash screen. I've tried using fastboot commands and all of the button configurations in any and all attempts to get a response from my device, but it remains on that screen with no looping or any kind of change. When plugged in (or turned on while plugged in) it's registered in Device Manager as the usual "Jem-PVT-Prod-04" when drivers aren't installed, and then disappears from the Manager within five seconds. I can't install the ADB drivers because it vanishes, so I cannot communicate with the device from my computer; therefore I cannot fastboot (as far as I can see) and have no possible way to recover it.
Is my last hope a fastboot cable, or is there something that I have missed this whole time? Thanks for any and all help!

Thats a kindle fire hd 8.9" model, fastboot cables don't work on them. A easy way to fix this is to boot a ubuntu live cd and install the fastboot command from the repos and run it. Latest ubuntu is 14.04 lts and i haven't checked the package names yet, but if it has the same name as on 13.10 then these instructions should work. Boot a ubuntu live usb/cd and open the settings and look for something like software updates and check off all the download form internet boxes. Hit reload if it asks, and if it asks ignore the first command in the next part of the instructions.
Now open a terminal and run these commands:

sudo apt-get install android-tools-fastboot
fastboot -i 0x1949 getvar product
Now that it says waiting for device, plug the kindle in while its off and you should be in fastboot mode. From there you can reflash it from windows with kffa or srt, or just do it manually while in ubuntu.

So I used the Linux command to put my Kindle in fastboot mode, but now it says it cannot connect with MTP device, so I still cannot flash any type of recovery. Even though it is in fastboot mode, and the drivers are installed, ADB is still not working on Windows.... and I'm not sure how to do it manually on Linux...

MTP is irrelevant with fastboot, as is adb, you don't use adb commands with fastboot, you use fastboot commands. You can use kffa or SRT to restore it from windows once it is in fastboot, or restore it manually in Linux using SRT's images. You probably will have to use SRT, I have heard a report that kffa's downloads for the images are offline again, though I'm not positive on that.

[Q] Issues with rooting a Kindle Fire

I have a 1st Gen Kindle Fire that I am currently trying to root so I can install a new OS. My PC is a Windows 7 64-bit machine.
Steps I have taken:
1. Download and unzip KFU 0.9.9
2. I connected my Kindle Fire to my laptop via USB
3. I clicked on the install_driver.bat file
4. Drivers installed successfully
5. Device Manager sees the Kindle Fire but it doesn't show up in My Computer as a storage device
6. I clicked the run.bat file and opened the KFU
ADB Status: Offline
Boot Status: Unknown
7. In KFU I selected option 2 and hit enter
8. I receive the following message in KFU
Activating Fastboot <4002>
Oops... something went wrong.
We are unable to locate your Kindle Fire.
Make sure it is plugged in and powered on.
twrp.img has been found.
fff.bin has been found.
Notice
Fastboot uses a different device than ADB.
You should check device manager for "Kindle" or "Amazon"
If you see it, rerun the driver installer that came packaged with KFU.

9. a. With KFU open I install the drivers and nothing happens.
b. With KFU closed I install the drivers and repeat steps 6-8
After updating the Kindle Fire drivers in Device Manager, it goes from being an ADB device to a USB composite device.
1. skip installing drivers that came with KFU.

So, am I missing any steps? Where do I go from here? This is my first attempt at rooting anything so keep that in mind. That's why I chose my Kindle Fire since it's almost useless to me with that Amazon OS. I apologize for it being a long post but I wanted to be perfectly clear on what I have and have not done.

Still Issues
So, I followed that link you posted and I followed the video instructions and it still acts like my device isn't connected.
They mention that I should switch the modes between Camera and Media, but the Kindle doesn't have a camera, so I'm not sure what the alternate method would be.
I'm trying the saferoot version detailed in the video and in that link this time.
Edit: I tried the same steps without installing the drivers and it worked perfectly! Thanks
