why do I get wifi flicker on off when I install yr rom ? It looks great but....tried wipes , dalvik cache wipe and different gapp files but no go. Can u pls help me ? I like the looks of the rom so far and besides I like TW.

i dunno man , i guess its problem with your handset , i have tried twice and i didnt get the flickering wifi , try reflashing clear all cache and factory reset

I assume jw4 would mean gingerbread; the reason is that it's been atleast 5 months since I last saw gingerbread on my phone so I've lost track of what's the lastest GB out there.
If that's the case, there's absolutely no comparison between GB and ICS...they are in absolutely different leagues...GB is like the fashion style of the 1980s....nice to remember about but uncool to wear...ICS is the "now"...ICS beats GB in almost all aspects be it battery life, phone performance, network signal, data connection etc etc....the only disadvantage whatever ICS roms, for the i9000, is that they don't have Samsung's ****wiz framework...albeit some roms claim to have it...At the end of the day, these are just pure ICS with a ****wiz skin on it...
So, the only loss, as I see it, is that you may not be able to get all samsung apps to work as you have it in GB...but who really wants their crap apps...when there are far better alternatives....
Have fun shifting to ICS...welcome to the present!
external sd card is not detected by the music player. Any one experiencing this problem.
i dunno about it will check and resolve in future builds

Weird, I am using docs xxjpo rom and my gallery is working perfectly
Get a rom. Open it and:
In that rom, go to system/app and find gallery3d and put it on your sd card. Then open root explorer and copy and replace the one you got from the rom with the themed one. The theme one is in system/app folder as well

Nope not just the Launcher many things are Modded to give an an iPhone like experience...
Its cool. A tiny bit laggy, but looks nice. Newest kernel installed, I like that. I think its good enough to use untill cm9 is good enough. Thanks.

You can get the Widgets on the first home screen... If u miss the widgets soo much just install another Launcher(mayb MIUI with a iPhone theme?)

just installed, and so far so good.....rom runs very smooth and fast.
only one annoyance that i've noticed is that it very often pops up with an error about updating the system because it's not official version rom? this may be resolved if we can find a way to manually prevent the phone from checking for updates?
any devs know if a way to do this?

This is one of those Chinese Developers ROM's, similar to MIUI, LEWA or JOYOS. But its completely different from other ROM's.
Ported from LG-P350 ME Phone by PulseDroid to Ace GT-S5830, by The Alchemist to Mini GT-S5570, and then ported to Callisto by me, using ajay's CM7.2 as the base ROM .
The system settings, messages, contacts, phone etc is tabbed and looks great. Its smooth and simple.
If u want something different and got bored of all the custom rom's, u can try this one out.

We can port CWM 6 for callisto but the problem is kernel 3.x for touch build and pyske83 has only 3.0.8 stable kernel with some things not working i also find a fully working kernel for Lg MSM7227 device but we have to push our drivers to this kernel and at last TWRP does not support Ldpi and only device which is running TWRP is gio which is a Mdpi in our platform for TWRP you have to edit the whole XML Driven Layout for that and according to me that is about 450 lines specifically to edit.....

i've tried the original rom for tass today, and the problems also occured on that rom
Another prblm is that this rom cannot share files via bluetooth that android do not undrstand like .tar .exe etc but apk and media files can be shared...
If u want to share u hve to rename them to othet valid formats.....

Hello everyone, this is kevinrus123.
After a lot of tweaking and work i sucessfully ported FlymeOS (aka MeizuOS) to our I9000!
After all i can't say it is a port , because i tweaked very much and i think i could say it is my rom
Now it is ready to get from ALPHA version to STABLE version - yeah a stable version !
You will really like this rom , it got such a nice and smooth UI and the Apps will start really fast ; Battery life is also very good.
If someone want to make a review on Youtube , i would be really happy.
There are only two little bugs:
-Network settings can't open - causes force close
-A litte graphical glitch in Lockscreen
All in all it is a stable version and ready for daily use.
Android version is 4.0.4 ICS , it runs fast like hell!
Screenshots are attached , the ROM looks unbelivable good and is blazing fast , even faster than Jelly Bean!
Please don't flash GAPPS for ICS , because there is already a PlayStore in the rom.

I always fixed this problem by rebooting into recovery, then wipe data/cache and installing again .zip package
After all I can say it is a fast rom but for me it is not a rom for daily use. I have no access to my external sd card. Network settings dont work and everything looks a bit to small. Anyway good work :good:

In fact these problems big problems compare with F4K r5 where everything is working!!
But if dev solve these problems i flash it over f4k.
Big respect for the developer to keep up to date ICS which is the best version of android to our device!!!!

Hi,
i will resolve all bugs and problems in this ROM , but i need some more time
I think too that ICS is the fastest and smoothest version for our i9000.
JB is fast too , but the battery is only horrible...

Flashed cm9 latest nightly. After this flashed flymeos. Despite having some errors with network settings and music player. Both restarted once. Music player does not have control for headphones. Still looks promising. What cm kernel it should be on?
Yeah, I also have problems with music player - when I try to add a folder with MP3s an error appears. Also in lockscreen those 3 icons dial, sms, unlock are hidden under the bottom border of screen. I see only top edge of icons - also all three only unlocks the screen. No shortcut to dial or sms It is very fast, I must say! Hope you will fix those problems in next update, because it is worth waiting
EDIT: wow, I restarted my phone and WiFi is still switching ON/OFF After another restart it is OK, but that was strange
Awsome design, verry nice rom but still have some bug's.
If you can resolve them, will be the best looking rom.
