Haha I wish! I miss that campus! Great trip... got to do some fishing after spreading the ashes! Great to see family I haven't seen in about 5 years when I moved from fl... it was nice... we don't have "funerals" we have celebrations... its all one big party when someone passes...
Edit- sure you don't wanna learn to theme! Its really not that hard... mostly just replacing pngs and moding xmls... other than the .9s there isn't really anything hard about it once everything is set up right... I have a feeling you woulld be pretty good at themeing with the, um, "creative" color schemes you come up with! I'm telling ya, read the sticky in themes by dreamsforgotten... that's how I learned...

Bad news naddict. Broke both bones in my left wrist. One bone in my right wrist. Three displaced bones in my right hand. And cracked my left elbow. Scheduled for surgery in 5 days. Theme is almost done. I'm pretty doped up right now on pain killers and probably will be until after the surgery. I will try to get some work done on it but don't know how soon I will be done now. Had to start over with recoloring the pngs... didn't look right... good news is I have done a lot of the xml edits also so it'll be full blown pink and purple... pm me and I will send you a test build of what I've got so far so you can show to your girl and give opinions... after all, it is being made pretty much for you, so it should be to your liking.......

That is so ridiculous. We all know the EVO is the best smartphone out right now, and mine is rooted with Myn's rom, and I love this 4.3" beauty. **** the 3.5" iPhone4, but I do like a couple of the notification sounds on the 4.2 release. Doesn't mean I want a hand job from Steve Jobs or anything.

Theft, theft, theft. As far as I know everyone here uses eachothers work to create something new. Its quite normal on XDA, the mistake made here was that he should have given you some credit for your work. I agree with you untill that point. And im using simply galaxy and this music player fits way better with my theme than your crysis themed one. So it is useful and original in the way that is differentiates itself from other themes..

agreed man, but he should've asked me, as many others did, and give the credits. I never said no to someone when used my battery and so on... but I encourage inspiration, he should put his head at contribution and do something original. Many apps you see "themed" today, are getting just an color change and that's it. Nothing deep....

Come on man, he took 2 pngs. I had a case that one user took half of my theme (much much more pngs), and the other half was from 5 other themes and only who didn't get credit was me. It is not nice, but also there were a lot of people that used his theme and that is what is important, to please more people.

yes man, you have your right, I have seen your work and I respect you for that. But isn;t bothering when you work weeks for something, brick your phones and flash it over and over again, and when you hae done all the work, some guy sees a little spot missed by you, he fixes and gets all the credit.
XDA should be about innovation, not reinventing the wheel... I think you must agree with that! With no innovation.... nothing new... just changing some colors...

Yes, I agree. I was mad, but I kept it to myself. Once I sent a PM to user who also had a lot of my pngs in his theme, but that was it. I know that it is really good to do something all new, but this user took only 2 pngs from your theme. After all, some people liked my theme just with battery icons changed (also done by some other user) and I respect that because I can't please everyone with one theme. Hope you understand, I do understand you and he should give you credit for that.

sorry man for that erruption, but I had a rough day and I just got too mad on you without a real reason. Went for a walk and now I'm relaxed and I see things from another point of view
saw a distinct likeness with the old textures from tayutama's early eclair/froyo theme in a fairly recent theme *whistle* kinda missed those good to see em put to use once again

I'm really not sure which phone it is. I just did a Google search for Samsung when i first signed up on XDA for a quick icon and never changed it.

I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion. I'm just a big cyan fan, and this theme has all the menus and everything else in black and cyan. I have pieced some of the apk's on my phone but once you start mixing several themes together with the rom, it seems I start having problems with my phone. I know a lot of you are not going to like but some people will. I myself, really like it a lot. I have looked at Impaler's guide to making themes, but I guess I must not be to smart when dealing with this stuff.

I'm sure they have spent plenty of time making the theme, just as every developer does on here with the projects they are working on. The maker of the theme told me I could request someone to port it if they were interested, so I thought I would give it a shot.

Yuck... Not my style at all, seems very choppy to me and kinda ugly,
But im all for it being ported.. the more themes the better
Gotta hit up "Dreams" to take a look at this. He's into this kinda stuff. Does look different, but I like it to. To anyone else who likes this, you gotta check out "Dream's" H.R. Giger theme. Kinda along the same lines and EXTREMELY detailed!

I second that. These guys put a LOT of time and energy into making this stuff for us. Very rarely do they even ask for a donation, even though it is very deserved. So next time, maybe you could just say "thanks, but it really isn't for me". And if the dev responds, u could point out what u did'nt care for, simple as that. Your comments are appreciated as long as they are "constructive". "Yuck" is no more childish than it is "constructive". Please take your negativity elsewhere......
For those of you that were interested in this theme, it should be released sometime very soon. vlatinlove is the one who is porting this theme and I appreciate all of his hard work. Here are a few screenshots of what he sent me a couple of weeks ago after I installed it on my phone. He has made some changes in the notification area icons and themed a few more parts. Can't wait to see what the final looks like. Thanks again for all of your hard work vlatinlove, love how this looks on my phone.

MAN! It's good to be back in the Epic 4G Touch forums! I've gone through the Evo LTE and Galaxy Nexus and found my way back onto the Epic Touch!
As some of you remember, I have been battling cancer for two years and this kinda "get's me away" from thinking about it and gives me something to do while awaiting disability benefits.

Yeah, everything is okay. White blood cell count was low this week so I gotta have a booster shot and skip Chemo until next week...

Yes the site is currently down due to the front end server known as Wendy 1331 being overcome by too many members logging in. Wendy frequently goes down all the way and the back end server also gets choked by exceptional flows. The admins will reboot the system soon, as they are sick of having members' issues rammed down their throats.
A re-opening party will be held at the site offices at 10PM. Please do not come too soon as we have exciting preparations to do. At the inaugural opening of our slick portal we had a fancy dress party. I was going to dress as Super Woman, but I was so excited I forgot and came in my pants.

Oh yeah, the USB port is removed and ready to connect. I like that floppy ribbon cable. Something about the "vintage" look just does it for me. That 4-rail battery terminal is enough for any pads. Let me know if you wanna power that thing up, I've got some juice right here.
