Have a gnex on the way and am just curious if any of you on AT&T are having push email issues with the native gmail app? One X has serious push email issues and I'm hoping I won't have to deal with it on gnex.

S voice and flipboard, though I can't find flipboard on SG3 proper. Flipboard is a news app which is good since HTC news app has disappeared. S voice works but not for everything, e.g. opening apps doesn't work.
Flipboard is good and the latest update 1.84 beta 2, 74 is great.
There is a way to install the touchwiz ui on the One x. But it is based on cm9 wich is nightly on our phone.

Touchwiz? One word....
WHY?
The only thing I'd like to try is the weather widget - dunno why but I like it...
Samsung galaxy s3 doesn't have any goodness.
They need to port our sense , they need to change our chipset too. Most gs3 crying for drainage of battery in stand by mode.
Tegra 3 rocks.

It idles alright but not as good as the HOX. I left my SGS3 with 40% left and 22 hours laters it discharged to 2%. Not bad but that was with wifi on and no sim inserted.
HOX the companion core works better when you have good signal. Bad signal + 3G is a big no no my HOX drains like crazy.

Change the phone network mode to gsm auto prl, uses gsm if signal is stronger than 3g so not constantly on lookout for 3g all the time.

I would love if the browser on the One X would be as good as the S3, the browser with flash enabled is terrible.
Thanks mate will give that a try tomorrow.

Flipboard has been released for all Android devices officially.
Flipboard calls it a beta but its more polished then the one released on the Samsung firmware. Those who downloaded the APK at that point will be automatically prompted to update to the official beta.

Anything software can be used on the One X with the exception of S Voice.

ive been trying too with no luck sending from my one x to my nexus 7. can beam web pages fine
The ability to beam images was introduced in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Both of your devices do not yet have an official update to this version of Android, so you will be limited to sending small things, such as contacts and URLs.
Hi all.
I'm a HTC Desire HD user.
I'm thinking about buying a Nexus. I would like to have some user opinion about Nexus.
What are his strong points, his weak points ?
Thanks
DaD

Thanks dude !
hey...i had Desire HD and now Gnex...
it's undoubtedly better that desire hd...
buy one Gnex
People seem regard switching from the Galaxy S2 to Gnex as a solid upgrade. I would consider Gnex miles ahead of Desire HD.

The Galaxy Nexus offers the best smartphone experience I've had yet. I've been using smartphones since 2008, and owned an HTC EVO 4g LTE for about 2 months. I'm using the Paranoid Android rom, and tablet mode is one of the most innovative things I've seen on a smartphone. It's almost exactly what I expect out of a phone. You can't go wrong. However, I would definitely buy a GSM Gnex -- I found one on craigslist for $275.
You can buy service through t-mobile pre-paid for $30 a month. 100 minutes goes a long way for me because I use a SIP phone application and have a PBX server at my house. Google Voice helps out quite a bit too. Calling over 3g/HSDPA is fair, but manageable. I've been using CDMA based devices, and carriers for about 10 years and I don't know why I didn't switch years ago. Anyway, I hope this helps.
I've been in love with HTC sence when i had my desire phone. Today I saw the One X and I thought of buying it.
However, I'm not sure if it's going to be easy for me. For example, i disabled here the browser because I use chrome. In general, I use most of Google services. Would it be the same there? And how was the experience of those moved from Galaxy Nexus to One X (or Nexus to Sense)? For years, I thought I won't ever like to try something other than the Nexus pure Android...

I had an iPhone 4 and used the number to get Whatsapp running on my rooted N7. I just traded said iPhone for a Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (unrooted) and would like to receive my Whatsapp messages on the N7 and the phone. Possible??

And again:
to use the same account on two devices doesn't seem to work
I do recall recall reading on here that someone got it working.
Doesn't matter anyway. Tablettalk is a much better solution.

I don't think there's a solution to make messages reach both devices. I tried and it is random. I used another number for my N7 instead.
