[Q] how to create odin flashable rom? - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 General

Any ideas?

Waiting mobileodin from chainfire support our device. Lol.
Maybe app like mobileodin or zip file for rcovery mode. Customize Aroma-installer maybe.

I think repencis know how to do it. his v1 repencis is flashed via odin.

Intstalling ClockwordMod

I would like to know how can I install clockwordmod recovery on build FH13. Found this link to install clockword mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342728 but this doesn't have my build listed ..
You can odin a kernel. Or the far easier option for you would be an fh13 one click. Use the no data version. This allows you to keep all your apps and data. You can then root and install cwm.

I am already rooted and on build FH13 just want to install CWM. Or I can install a kernel with CWM built in right ?
There is a bat that qbking used on his videos
Just look at his utube videos
Its simple one click

CWM is part of the kernel. You will have to install a kernel with it.
You can use a 'One-click' to install a kernel - rwilco's repository has them. Or use PC Odin to flash a kernel .tar
The quickes and 'cleanest way', one that will not give you the 'yellow triangle', is to use Mobile Odin (please break down and support the developer and just buy this app) and flash Agat's source built kernel (5.4) or RUjeluss' (1.8) [there is an xda only version of Mobile Odin (search is your friend!), just make sure you install the binaries from post 2 or 3 or whatever for your phone model].
Or use sfhub's Autoroot to add Agat's FF18 src kernel [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342728 ]. Start phone, shut down. then boot to recovery once that is installed and install the recovery of your choice (Agat or RUjeluss') - This way will NOT trigger the yellow triangle either.

[Q] Mobile Odin - ARHD

Hi guys,
I have searching the forums before posting but I can't find a definitive answer to my queries.
Anyway here goes.
I have a rooted Galaxy Note 2 N7100. I want to flash Android Revolution 9.1 but don't want to have a custom recovery on my phone.
I was looking to use Mobile Odin to flash the ROM. Is this possible?
Also I haven't used AROMA before, does the AROMA installer load up when you begin flashing the ROM?
Thanks and sorry if this is such an obvious question.
Cheers
Paul
If you mean you want to flash custom rom in flashable zip then do this
Copy flashable zip to sd card (int/ext)
Open mobile Odin
Select ota/update zip
Point to zip you have copied
Flash.

Thanks.
Yeah this is what I was going to do but wasn't sure if all custom roms were compatible with mobile odin.
Iassume I can then to a full wipe inside aroma before the actual flashing takes place?
Cheers
Paul
I recommend also having a custom recovery for at least making nandroid back ups. ..I too commonly use mobile Odin to flash roms, kernels and zips
scribbled from my note 2 (N7100)
Thanks.
I have used cmw before. Is that the best recovery to use? Is the touch version decent?
I have reset the binary counter one as i used chainfires rooting through odin.
Do i have to reset it everytime i boot to recovery if its a custom recovery?
Final question. Is it safe to use rom manager to flash recovery?
Thanks for your help sorry for all the questions.

[Q] can't update ROM from Philz CWM...

Hello everyone...
before posting here i tries some help on 2 other post.. i hope someone had the same problem and found a solution!
I've note 2 7105 and i tried several times updating ROM (with the latest MB6)
via CWM Philz!
everytime i hit INSTALL ZIP and i get the ROM... it just reboot into CWM without installing the rom!
i tried downloading many other times the rom.. and also otehr roms, always the same problem!
does anyone have a solution?
or.. how can i install it via odin mobile pro? cause all the rom i downloaded are .zip!
thank you in advance
You are flashing stock rom with cwm?
If yes, you can't
Flash rom are in zip but not flashable zip
Extract it, you will get tar.md5 file
You can flash using pc odin by selecting it with pda
For mobile odin
Select open file option in mobile odin and point to tar.md5 file you extracted, it will fill up required fields automatic
Select ever root if you want to keep root
Flash

Dr.Ketan thank you for your msg!!
i've a stock rom yes... but before i tried with ROM like this:
N7105-XXDMB6_Deodex_Rooted_03_25_13-teshxx.zip
(so it's not .tar.md5 inside but files like boot.img or folder as META-INF system---)
now finally i've got a atar.md5 ( stock rom )
but i was wondering why on philz CWM happens that reboot everytime i try to install a rom ( like the one above... )

I can't say whether that file is flashable zip or not without I see extracter contents exactly. Ask on the thread from where you have download it.
Philz cwm can flash any flashable zip.
Anyway stock rom you can flash with Mobile Odin as said in previous msg.

[Q] using odin to flash CM10.1 rc1

- i apologize in advance if this is a stupid question, its driving me nuts.
I downloaded the stable cm10.1.0 RC1 ROM and the zip file only had 3 files (META-INF, system, and boot(.iso) )
My question is, how does one flash this using odin? Just wanted to make sure, i dont want to brick my phone.
dont unzip it. it wont flash in odin. you must be rooted and have a custom recovery (twrp or cwm) installed.
check out the link in my signature.

CWR Mod touch points dont line up

Hi,
I did my root using the toolkit and everytime i update my ROM in CWR Mod, the touch points dont line up with the buttons. So i have to push about 2 inches above the button for next/back and enter to install roms.
Can i just download the latest version of CWM somewhere and flash using odin?
Thanks for any help/info
You can use Philz from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2552657 , working fine for me.
The download link wants me to install some player, Can i get a direct link to a zip or MD5 file for this ones?
Sorry, clockword is working OK. Its the aroma installer that it goes to when i install a rom from zip file that has the problem. I guess i just need to disable this somehow and just use CWR to install rom
