help... save me please ... sd crash - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 General

First of all I admit that I am a noob in the android OS world
got 8GB sd card for my S5360, it keeps giving me this message: "Sd card removed unexpectedly", and rescans the SD which makes my device slow.
methods tried but didn't work:
1- reformatted the SD card via PC fat32 and FAT
2- reformatted the SD via linux and then via my phone
3- Sd boosting programs (most of them).
4- installed custom roms and mods
( HYBRID 4.0 , Creeds' ɷ Fusion v3.2, Repencis v3)
5-tried to repartition my SD.
guys all the methods above didn't work and I am about to smash my mobile phone ( though I am pretty poor) but my nerves are squeecking now
gratfull for any help ... thanks in advance

Reflash the latest stock firmware of your region.. People having old stock Indian firmware had these problems.. They had it solved by reflashing.. Check the doky73 thread in Android development.

Galaxy y usually comes with a 2 gb sd card (here atleast).. Try using any other sd card and notice if the problem reappears.. If it does its a software issue..
Also doky73 thread has 2-3 firmwares for the same region try flashing them all.. I think it's a definite rom issue
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium

there are several way to fix it...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1576012
PS: don't use sdcard boost program. or any script to boost it.

6. set the permission to r--r--r--
is it OK? like this????
thanks and your help is highly apperciated

that's not really needed. if you turn off your device, the value will back to its original value. if you want to make it permanent you'll need a kernel with init.d support. you can make a script in init.d which contain
Code:
#!/system/bin/ah
echo "2048" > /sys/device/virtual/bdi/179:0/read_ahead_kb

have been experiencing unmount errors with DXLC1. Just apply a kernel from DXKL2 and that problem will be solved.

I'm also having the same problem with the SD card removal issue. How do I apply a kernel? Sorry but I'm new to Android.
Thanks!

you can try downgrading to DXKL2 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800
or if you have a friend running on DXKL2, ask him to get you a back up copy of the kernel using this thread:

i always have found it weird that you guys are having the so called "sd card unmount" problem, coz i have tested DXLC1 and none of that happened. May i know how much system (services) ram you are consuming??

when im on dxla, onwards until dxlc, "unexpectedly unmount sd" happen when im using my 4gb memory card(kingston), but when im using the memory card along with the phone the 2gb mem card(sandisk) it("unexpectedly unmount sd") didnt happen, i think it has a relation with the memory card brand

You download "terminal emulator" from the market, and then you follow the instructions in the ROM thread.

the commands you typed should move user app apks and dalvik cache to sd-ext automatically, you won't have to keep typing them every time.
in this case, your internal memory won't show "internal + sd-ext", but your sd-ext is still being used.
as suggested earlier, download another app to check your partition is being filled. sywats suggested 'free space', my personal favourite is 'diskusage'

After having issues with some JB roms (which looked and felt excellent but just kept grinding to a halt), I have recently tried SuperNova and love the speed with stability and massive memory. However, having been spoilt by some of the JB versions of apps (and esp Google Keep) I have been searching for a supernova update. I have found plenty of Supernovas but for other platforms. What upgrade did you use as I could not determine it from your post? Thanks

Cant write to external sd-card after lollipop update?

Hi guys wanted some help on this issue. I just updated my p600 to stock lollipop 5.1.1 btu. I previously had jelly bean 4.3 stock. I dont have root.
I use utorrent to usually download content direct on my external sd card but since the update it dont let do that anymore
I can download to internal sd but i sometimes download huge size files and dont have enough space on internal to do so.
I was wondering if theres any work around to download direct to external sd card? P.s. i dont have root and am fully stock due to warranty. Thanks

Nope, google doesn't want you using sd cards so they prefer to make life hell for us...
If you wish to use the sd card to torrent, really fast way to kill sd cards by the way, then you will need to root . You will also need a custom kernel or you'll boot loop after rooting... Sorry...
