I got Apex launcher and it removed the stock HTC widgets, whats your favorite music control widget?

Works also in lock screen if you want.
Google music widget.

PlayerPro 4x2 widget, it is the best audio manager for me, too.
Pure music widget

Playerpro works the best 4 me
I'm also using Player Pro. It's the best player imho and it definitely beats Beats If you want to use the stock app and only look for a widget I'd suggest pure music widget which has lots of skins to choose from.
Google music widget..
PowerAmp is my main music widget..
But I also really like the music control buttons/toggles in the "power toggles" app.
You can use them side by side, like this~
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Or individually.
What Im really needing right now is some kind of music "buttons" that can be placed individually,
Like play/pause button in one place, forward button and reverse button in another place.
Power toggles almost works for what i need, but not quite.
There's also a widget called "media buttons" but you cant change the icons. :/
Anyone know of any other apps/widgets like this that provide single buttons?
My fav is htc default music app

I'll go with the PowerAmp standard widget,i just love it.
Does anyone know of a music widget that will only display the music and artist"now playing"?
No controls or album art, just the text of what's playing. Any ideas?

Damn this player is nice!!
Nice music app. Some of my album art is missing but I will fix it with the itag app. App is real fast and real loud curious to see what the future updates will be. Definitely a nice find. Would like to see a better widget.

Not working very nice together with CM9 player. Makes it force close.
Very nice and cool player. Thanks man.
Love this player!!! if its 2 dollars or lesser im paying for it sure!
Pretty sweet UI, certainly unique. I'm not a fan of the font used but if the font is all I can complain about that's saying something. Will certainly give this a few rounds round the block.
Thanks for the heads up.
i always thought playerpro with the pure white skin looked the cleanest. it also now has support for the native ICS lockscreen controls.
but now after uploading my library to google music, not bothering with third party players
This app reads personal information and sensitive log data. Why does this music player need that?
Poweramp and others music players do not ask for this permission!
I got a question
What is the difference between this player and the original player??
looks interesting.. i just don't see the point. spotify and stock music synced with cloud is solid.
Tried this player on both my Gnex & Razr - It's not as good as Poweramp on either phone.
This is a pretty good player, the lock screen is pretty cool. That being I am having problems with the lock screen when I want to access the phone. I turn on the screen, then select unlock. After that it takes me to facial recognition only to fail but not let me enter my pattern. I have to reboot my phone so I could get into it. Because of this I had to uninstall. The lock screen problems seems to happen when playing music, but I have always been able to find a way around it. Not this time.
looking forward to more development on this. already using it and i like it.

Edit: working nicely now

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has the stock aokp music apk
For some reason indont have it on my phone. Thanks in advance

You can just reflash AOKP. I don't use AOKP, but I'm pretty sure it uses the Google Play Music app, right? That can be downloaded from the play store.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
open the aokp rom zip file with any file explorer and just install the music apk. its in /system/app/.
I just tried that man but its not in there

Apollo which is included in CM9 is much better than the stock app IMO
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
It sucks that the STOCK Music app is not included in AOKP's ROM. I live in Canada and it's not available for download from the Google Play store. We don't have access to any of the Music online services, just the basic music player that's shipped on the GNex. The app still plays music from the phone and doesn't prompt/alert users to connect to the online services that you have in the United States so why won't Google allow everyone to download it without the extra services to which is automatically disabled anyway? Same argument goes for why it's not included in the ROM

It's a worthy replacement.
I have problems with Apollo. Mostly its UI design. Album and artist names are cut short in certain views and the big album art (now playing view) is low-res (as if rendered on a SNES).
Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of live wallpapers. I love the idea, but in practice I've never found one that suits my taste and is compelling enough to stay on my device for more than a few minutes. That changed today with Cypher Cove's release of Audio Glow to the Play Store.
Audio Glow is actually a stand-alone app with a similarly named LWP companion which also launched today. The app is a music visualizer, which in itself is not so exciting. What makes this app exciting is that it isn't just a music visualizer – it's one that's beautiful, functional, and extremely customizable.
Basically, the app (or LWP, as the case may be) reacts to sound from any other app on your device (though its main target is music). It does this with colorful bars and little glowing particle specks that float around and can react to your touch. The app is simple in concept, and executed brilliantly with a ton of customization options. (Don't believe me? Just look at the screenshot on the far right below.) Users can change bar shape, color, particle density, whether bars and particles react to touch, the app's zoom level, its default music app target, and so much more.
In use, the colored bars bounce up and down as you'd expect, the particles drift lazily through the screen, and the artist name and song title smoothly slide together and apart.

This is a fun app, and an even better live wallpaper – one that can stand on its own even when no music is playing. Did I mention that Tasker and Locale users can use their saved visualizer themes and set them to trigger in response "to almost anything you can imagine"?

I have downloaded the new version of BSPlayer Apk 1.6.142 (Paid version) but yet again surprised to see player doesn't have widget to place the app in a home screen. I have searched forum of xda and found no custom widget. Searched google on how to make a widget but it seems a total unknown world of coding and designing. Can anyone help me with a separate widget pack for BS player only. Install pack of widget for BS player like a 4 x4 widget designed to match with my SAMSUNG Galaxy S3 pls.
Thanks
Model Number: GT-I9300
Android version: 4.1.1
Baseband Version: I9300XXDLID
Device Status: Normal (never rooted)
requested : BS player widget (apk)
are you sure that it has a widget
if so, did you move the app to SD card
widgets are not available if you move an app to SD card
move it back to your internal memory

No BS player doesn't have widget by default I guess, it only installs the player. That is why I requested to design it for me and other as well. One 4x4 widget can help to place the app in a home screen page and use it to listen to music or watch movies quickly by jumping to next home page. . If someone can develop a custom widget pack like the " player pro" has it is going to be helpful for everyone. We need some developer/coder to design a widget for BS player.
And to be honest I do not think S3 apps are movable to SD card specially when it is not rooted. My BS player is in internal memory(phone) I double checked. Anyway thanks .....
Do you mean a widget that will allow you to watch videos straight from the homescreen?
Firstly, we will need the source code for BS Player
Secondly, I'm not entirely sure that's technically possible at the moment, even with access to the code (I could be wrong)

No I requested a widget like "player pro" has and not to play directly from home screen but place the app in a different home screen.
for example look at this 4x4 widget of "player pro" I just want a same for BS player...

Hi all:
I'm thinking of buying this Joying Android player for my car:
https://www.carjoying.com/2-din-car...-system-support-camera-dvr-for-universal.html
But I have a question about the music app, used to play music from the USB or SD card.. I hope someone can help me...
Normally in my USB/SD card, I organize my mp3's in folders, by album names. So for this android music player that comes with most android players, will the app display my songs in folders/files, or will it just search through all the files, and display them in a single-hierarchy, chronological list?
This is important to me, as I want to be able to quickly change my songs by moving to another folder when I need it...
Thanks in advance!
I don't own exactly this one, but I guess all Chinese are similar. So on the question: on mine when you slide right the music app screen on the left side is something like files explorer and you can choose what folder you want to play or press the very top option to play everything. So if your card folder structure is simple you will be able to play what folder you want in a matter of couple of clicks. But if you have complicated folders structure like folder in a folder in a folder, then will be a bit hassle. I hope that helps
Ps: you can always download any music app from gogle play that suits you

I think you should consider PowerAmp, if you set correctly in setting menu, you can slide left-right for prev/next track, slide up-down for prev/next folder, also you can sort (for each folder) by album, artist or even file-name. I'm really happy with these features.
I guess I can roughly picture it in my mind... but any pictures would be extremely helpful!
I stumbled upon BlackPlayer Music Player and its awesome! Does what you're asking and more. I plugged in an old usb stick with various folders of artists into my Joying headunit and when I opened the app for the first time it was so easy to tune it. Sorts by artist, albums, songs, playlists, etc. Check it out in the app store. One pic from google:

sounds good! I'll try out the blackplayer and poweramp when my unit arrives. thanks!
I cam here to ask the same thing, I like to organise my music by Artist first then Album. The native player only wants to list the albums! I can't find a "Go up one Level" button anywhere.
On this note is it possible to remap the physical button on the head unit?
