What about giving us some more details of what we are talking about here?
Things like phone model, android build, kernel and rootfs versions, startup.txt commandline, are all basic things YOU have to tell us before even thinking about asking help.

How did you find your kernel version? I can find the rest of this info.

its very good and every thing work with me just wifi and bluetooth not work and i need wifi

BT doesn't work.
WEP security doesn't work if your router is using that.
Be sure to match the modules file to the kernel. Also, use a kernel from the autobuild service, before you jump to a testing kernel.

HELP! tethering disconnects

recently my cable for internet connection for pc doesnt work well. so i decided to use my samsung galaxy y as moden. since we got a router with wifi.i connect my SGY to the wifi and plug it in my desktop using usb.. i can surf net play game etc.. the problem is. connection keeps on getting disconnected every 30 mins... what is seem to be the problem? can anyone help me...
i am using ▬CЯEED v3.5▬ [CUSTOM][ROM] and merruk kernel....
help is greatly appreciated.... sorry for my bad enlish.

Have you changed wifi sleep policy? ?
Make it "never disconnect"

Well I was also facing this problem on my device but I reflash the firmware and now it's working..

what firmware are you using?
mine is dxle1 and on custom rom creed 3.5 with merruk
are you on stock rom? i just wanted a smooth net connection.. maybe i should copy your phone settings

Yes I am using stock rom from the starting ... I would only change to custom until unless I get a stable rom
It will be better if you wait for the replies ..

maybe that's my option for now. rooted stock rom? and what baseband version are you using right now? im gonna flash my phone for me to get continous net connection

Are you sure about your usb port ? Samsung drivers installed well? Usb cable is ok? Stable data connection ?

i got samsung kies up to date. usb cable connected is ok. i got stable connection.
this is my procedure. i turn on phone wifi. i connected it to the pc using usb cable. then i tick tethering option. then the net comes in.
stable connection. after 30 mins. it automatically disconnects. need to unlock sgy to turn on again the net connection

help anyone? :crying:

so now i reverted my phone to stock using dxle1 baseband. gonna update if tethering is still disconnects

hello every one
guys i have cm9.1 ROM i have just one problem in this rom is wifi hotspot tethering not working properly when i enable portable WiFi host spot is on but when client connect just stuck in obtain ip automatically i now its a rom fault but can you please give me the solution for this because i love this ROM and its stable for me i tried all the other application but same problem here i am waiting for your reply

I think its actually a bug in rom which isnt solved yet. Try using any third party app.

What do you mean "cm9.1 ROM" ??? Are you sure that you have HTC Wildfire and not HTC Wildfire S ?
Just checking, coz did not hear for cm 9.1 for buzz :cyclops:

move back to ics jb doesnt not support it

HDMI Out seem to be problem now.
If you want to use your Arc with smartTV, come back to ICS or wait for some update next time.

[Q] Wifi Direct Problem on DN3 V5

Please sort out file sharing through WIFI Direct on DN3 rom V5
After Establishing Connection, Sharing give "Unfortunately Settings have stopped working"
Flashed Clean Rom through TWRP.

I got this problem too..wifi direct problem..after connect too wifi direct..unfunately setting have stopped....don't no what the problem..try use sbeam..it's ok no problem..

Hello, I have no problem so far with wifi direct on DN3 V5 Rom. The problem was about the screen mirroring. It said "Can't enable screen mirroring because of hardware issue." Fortunately, I replaced the lib I found on xda, and finally it worked seamlessly by now.

You'll get FC Settings
try these steps
Before selecting file for sharing make a wifi direct connection with other device.
Then select file that you wanna share.
I guarantee that you'll get fc
if not then let me know

I suppose the problem is with secsettings.apk
Due to dual settings(note 3 and s5) its facing this problem.

Hello, I did this many times for different firmwares, from official 4.3 to official 4.4.2, then this custom rom, and I never get a fc.
It's just a lib file that you can replace, nothing more.
I hope I can help anyone here with DN3 V5 Rom since I know how it feels like to be lost. Just ask, I'll help if I can. But, please don't PM me.
