[Q] ClockworkMod Recovery 3.2.0.0

hi guys can i flash or update my ClockworkMod Recovery from rom manager ?? and how?
i using now 2.5.0.7 and i want update to 3.2.0.0.
TNX
If i were you, i would do it on this way:
http://theunlockr.com/2009/10/15/how-to-flash-a-new-recovery-image-if-you-are-already-rooted/
It seems to very easy.
when i try this it says in the terminal: error witing recovery: no space left on device
If you are S-off you can easily flash this with fastboot. In this thread you find all your answers. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1039954
And if you are S-ON you need unrevoked to flash it.

Hi, you don't need s-off to flash roms,do a nandroid backup of current setup before just in case.
just download cm version you desired. Put it on your sdcard. from cwm, wipe data/ factory reset, clear data, system and caches (not sdcard) then flash zipped rom from cwm. Don't forget the Google apps pack (gapps) if you need market etc etc. Flash directly after rom flash, before reboot for best results.
All you need is in here.

" once its gone,its GONE."
All you need is clockworkmod recovery version 3 and higher for flash CyanogenMod.
Unrevoked supports this hboot, my wildfire is rooted that way (but still s-on) and after u r rooted just flash the rom via recovery

The most strange problem with android

Hello,
Before everything, i'm french sorry for the language..
I have an HTC Wildfire with the last stable version of CM7
I supposed I'm root because I have the application super user, and Setcpu work, titanium backup too..
BUT when I go to my Fastboot I found S-On, and i can't remove or change anything in the system, for instance when I want to remove an application with root explorer or change the boot animations !
The version of fastboot is 0.80.XXX and I try to upgrade the version but when I launch the upgrade tools of HTC, everything work but when the installation begin I have a error message who write : ID client...
i don't remember but it's probably because I have CM7?
Do you know If Im really root ? Or how I can upgrade my fastboot ?
Thank you !
Ok. You are rooted with s-on which means you can flash custom Roms. S-on basically means your hboot is security locked. To gain the steps your trying to achieve your hboot needs s-off. Go to the wildfire development section and look in 3xenos sticky, The complete wildfire index.
" once its gone,its GONE."
Ok I try this later !
Thank you for the reply !
Sorry, but can i be S-OFF whitout upgrade my fastboot ?
Because I should:
-install Froyo
-install recovery
-root
-install CM7
-backup data
The only way to s-off that I know of is to upgrade your hboot via ruu then run revolutionary and super user.that was how I s-off my wildfire. I had problems installing ruu and had to extract the rom.zip and flash as PC49.IMG from hboot, then run revolutionary and just nandroid backup restore my cm7. Can't really help more than this.
Goodluck.

Desire HD 2.3.5 rooted via htc super tool v3 but can't s-of plz plz Plz plz help.

I know this question been asked alot but my problem is different so plz reply and help me.I had unlocked the boot loader of htc desire had 2.3.5 and then rooted it through htc super tool v3 but now I can't s-off , I tried downgrading using advance ace hack kit but it also fails with bootloader saying no image or wrong image.I used desire had easy radio off tool but that also gives error "probably lost connection"
Plz plz plz help I have been searching for many days but couldn't find any solution so plz help.
Thanks in advance..
Its because you unlocked it using the HTC Dev tool. What youbneed to do is relock it and try the hack kit again
But cant i s-off without downgrading, because before unlocking bootloader and rooting i had tried advance ace hack kit, it downgraded my mobile successfully, but after that my mobile and aahk got stuck at "downgrading radio" or something like that. And cant i flash custom rom without s-off, because some where i read that a guy named pierre_ja helped some one in flashing custom recovery and custom rom, plz if u can help me in the same i will be very thankful to you..
You asked to soff, and you can't unless you use the hack kitBUT you can flash a custom rom with unlocked bootloader, those are two different thing. I personally advice against using the HTC tool, and recommend the hack kit. You need to figure out why it went wrong. Bit anywho. If you are adament on sticking with the unlocked bootloader this is what you need to do.
1) download a recovery of your choice and name it recovery.
2) download a rom of your choice(place one copy in your SD and leave another somewhere else)
3) boot into hboot and select fastboot
4) move the recovery image to where you have the fastboot and adb files
5) open a command prompt CD to your adb folder
Type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot reboot
6)noe go back into hboot and select recovery to Confirm its Installed. If so reboot to bootloader and select fastboot again
7In the rom zip you downloaded extract the boot image and place in your adb folder
8) type in the command
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
8)now select recovery and in cwr do a full wipe and install your rom
thanks for the help..really appreciate..going to go with aahk as you said..thanks again

[Q]Stuck at white htc screen

Hi there,
After unlocking my Desire HD with the official HTCdev bootloader unlock service I installed Clockwork 5.0.2.7111102. From here I installed SuperUser 2.3.6.3 and it seems I have root access.
Both through ROM Manager as manual through ClockWork I have tried to install several custom ROMs. I did wipe the user data beforehand etc. But after reboot every time it keeps hanging at the white HTC screen.
I havent made backup of previous version. My phone is stuck completly. I can do nothing but only new rom..
Can someone please help me with this issue? Many thanks!
Additional info:
S-On
HBoot 2.00.0029
Radio 26.14.04.28.M
Android 2.3.5
HTC sence 3.0
Software 3.12.405.1
Kernel 2.6.35.10-9931a37e
When you unlock using the HTC dev method you have to flash the boot.img separately.
Take the boot.img of whatever rom you want and flash it by running
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
For future reference the correct method is
1)flash rom in recovery
2)boot back into hboot and flash roms boot.img
4ext recovery has a new option of flashing boot.img when son all in the same step.(make it similar process to soff devices

You need to switch to S-OFF in order for flashing to be successful. Use this then once you boot into Hboot and see S-off, then you can try to flash the rom...
