Wich rom is the best for this phone? Someone?
Sent via Evo 3d with ICS
Try Creed's ROM v2.0..Its really good.
Bro all custom roms have an issue, some very small others big. None of them are 100% perfect. So in all honesty, if you want something that works 100% all the time then actually stock is the best rom.
Although there is one custom rom I have tested that works 100%, that is Doky's rom - **Emerald Green**. It is basically like stock which I think is why it is perfect.
The two best highly customised roms are Repencis V3 and Chobits.
Creeds latest rom is fantastic but it still has a few bugs.
My advice, stay with stock.
But test them all out and find out which one is good for you
Thanks. My problem is that is phone to slow. Some solution?
Sent via Evo 3d with ICS
well...we can't compare the speed for a sgy with a sgs3. thats a bad idea (lol). you can try to add more tweak script into your device to improve the speed. the easiest and the most risky one, you can use build.prop mod. insert these script into your build.prop and feel the difference.
Code:
#Sony Bravia Engine Porting
ro.service.swiqi.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi.enable=1
#mod ro
ro.ril.enable.dtm=1
ro.ril.gprsclass=10
ro.ril.hep=1
ro.ril.enable.3g.prefix=1
ro.ril.hsdpa.category=8
ro.ril.hsupa.category=6
ro.ril.hsxpa=2
ro.ril.enable.a53=1
#mod battery kats
debug.performance.tuning=1
pm.sleep_mode=1
video.accelerate.hw=1
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=150
ro.ril.disable.power.collapse=1
wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=150
#mod performance
dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:jit
persist.sys.purgeable_assets=1
dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags=m=y
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100
ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=0
video.accelerate.hw=1
ro.kernel.android.checkjni=0
ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1
you'll also need to change the value for 'dalvik.vm.heapsize' to 48 and 'debug.sf.hw' to 1.
I agree with NanoSurfer. Repencis and ChobitsDigitalis are by far the best customized rom here.
Use Supercharger
The best bugfree rom is undoubtedly stock.
If you want more speed try this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
I have tried Creeds Rom V2.5, Creeds Fusion 3.1, Hybrid 4 and Repencis v3.
I have to say with regards to performance Repencis is right up there..
Again its your choice.
Chobits is a good rom? I think that is ok. Is it have bugs?
Sent via Evo 3d with ICS
V6 SuperCharger
currently using Hybrid 4, seemed ok for me :/
Try Repencis v2.5. Lite, fast and customizable. Better than v3 in my opinion.
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1516037
P.S: Don't forget to add V6 Supercharger too. Your device will go zoom zoom zoom!
used creeds ROM v2 for a long time before, did'nt like 3.1 though
im now on repencis v3, yea has some issue too, there is no perfect ROM but i prefer sticking to it
For me terma is the best,fast very stable,only da launcher sux,i use adw ex on it.
GREEEEEEEETZ!!!
Repencis, terma or chobits? I will try all 3. First will be chobits.

Hai. Im new here. Just wanted to share this awesome script. Im using Bionic Cow OC and after flash this script my quadrant score managed to hit 2300-2500. The highest is 2845. Significants improvement in i/o. Im not sure if our kernel support init.d scripts but for me it works.

hey dude can you tell me which file you downloaded for sgw ??
and can you explain how to flash it into sgw thanks in advance
Im using Universal_Adrenaline_Shot_v14-1.zip. If you get bootloop after flashing that one, flash Universal_Adrenaline_Shot_v14-BL-1.zip instead. Go to recovery, mount system and flash. Happy testing

Hi
I don't know but the developers missed one "important part"
The lib "libncurses" doesn't included
This file needed for sqlite3 to run and defrag the database
So the sqlite in this script will not run
Maybe the developer just get it in ACE thread and never know it
and
This script in init.d folder cannot run automatically
Because wonder kernel "this time" cannot start the init.d
so you must run in manually by script manager
Meanwhile i used some thing like this optimization for Black Notes
Regards
thank you rio for your professional review but now i dont think we need this script anymore because cowitgun already optimized I/O performance in his newest bionic rom.
im running on RS(rio saputro) custom blacknote chapter 3 rom and i flash the adrenaline but my quadrant I/O doesnt seems to increase as much as your tomatoman ... how come ?
i also dont know how come my quadrant score increase by the fact that our kernel doesn't support init.d script and im not running it manually and also we all know bionic v6 score quite low in I/O. Maybe because im using the overclock one. But dont rely on quadrant because as long as the rom is fast and smooth enough, it doesn't matter.
yeah true to that ...
but im just worried about my battery that's why i tried flashing the adrenalin
i think i need a new battery .. good thing the warranty for the battery is still available

I'm looking for a Rom that is debloated like a CM10 or AOKP. It seems with most TW roms I have about 50 system apps I don't want running and using up resources and have to freeze/uninstall.
Can anyone who is using a TW rom that's super debloated let me know what they're using? I'm looking for Jelly Bean.
Thanks.

Easy delete the apps from the zip file that you do not want.
Do not unzip it just open it and delete what you want to remove.
I usually make a copy of the zip to a different folder so if there is a problem I can get back to the start easy.
Apps are in system/app and data/app.

Yeah options seem to be slim. I just installed i747z and it's been good for battery life which is what I want. Sadly all the CM10 and AOKP variants only get me 6 to 8 hour battery life. I don't have any idea how some people can push 20+ hours unless they just don't use their phones heavily like I do. But most TW roms have the bloat apps which use up memory. I tried downloading the aeonflux early but my dl was interrupted. I'll try it again.

Are we talking about doing this on a stock ROM here?
Wouldn't this cause it to fail the MD5 checksum thus preventing it from flashing with ODIN?
should not need to flash the TW custom roms via Odin each time. once you have CWM, just flash them from there. and if I am correct, you can use 7zip to peek inside the zip file and remove what you need to without re-zipping it and changing the MD5.

I've had great results by using Rom Toolkit and Titanium Backup to manually un-bloat.
For automated de-bloating, I've used Ashaman (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1732039)

I highly recommend CSROM
I've found the bertiespeed ROM to be very good in the battery department.
I've been using Loser Rom for a while now. It has a mod to debloat which is nice. I also am using the Ashraman to also debloat. But still my average is at 6 hours. My screen isn't on all the time like the screen shot says. That's with ktoons kernel and conservative governor and juice defender ultimate. Maybe this low battery life is going to be normal when you've got 123 apps installed and a heavy texter. But I don't use live wallpaper or have many widgets. So I'm going to try a few other roms . :-\

If u want more gaming performance then its wrong question :/
As sb said u cannot flash rom without PC
If u want more performance: CHange FSync to dynamic; Set the Maximal L2 Read to its maximum value; set preallocated memory to highest value. Go into the internet and install some tweaks. There are universal tweaks like superchargerV6 or PurePerformances, or tweaks made for some devices (i didnt found any Ace2-only tweaks but if u will do some research u can find Mali400 tweaks which will power up ur gpu)>
U can also check GLtools link: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/play-resource-intensive-games-on-low-end-devices-with-gltools/
PS. before installing tweaks etc. make backup in recovery, next time when u will have stock rom: install temporary cwm and do backup on it (stock based backups can be helpful)
PS2 [C OLOR=GRE EN] sent from my mind using hand to typing [/CO LO R] (without space-bars) - set this and ur signature will be green (u failed :/)
sent from my mind using hand to typing
Well, it should be possible to port a stock rom to CWM format (dump all files + create appropriate updater-script + kernel image) but different recoveries handle /preload more or less well, Touchwiz is more picky about proper partitions, all zips must fit in /data (?)... it's probably not worth the time...
(big lies, nothing isn't worth it, in fact I'd like to see CM7 for this device)

Battery Use
An option for those with root access on an Xperia M is to install SetCPU.
This allows setting of the governors and io schedulers.
You can have an off screen profile which uses the 'powersave' governor which holds down the CPU frequency when the screen is off.
Power Schedule gives an easy way of scheduling the shutdown/startup of Telephony and/or WiFi (and more..) for time periods when these services are not required.
The App doesn't have a resident service process and uses almost no resources in providing the service.
GSam battery monitor provides a good way of monitoring battery use and identifying resources using the battery and helps build an understanding of what your phone is doing.
The App can be un-installed when not being used as it uses a small amount of battery to monitor...the battery.
The battery lasts very well in an Xperia M in most general situations.

Working for me Bro .My battery is improved .
You need Int.d support for this to work .Here you need to download this and install then open it activate int.d .
http://d-h.st/Eh5#.U4cni_mSxSs I'm using this Int.d support app .
*****Maybe You installed the Wrong Int.d Application that's why you get boot looped.
1.)I flashed the Build.prop tweak Stock
2.) Flashed the Reincarnation Engine v4 4.3 CM 10.2
3.)Your done.
Use greenify pro and ram manager pro too bro .Now my phone last last 6 days + when in stand-by mode(Fully charged) .Before it only says 3 days +(fully charged).
i try to make universal init.d support but it didnt install bro cause i use stock kernel , i thought its just for custom kernels :/
