I bought a new HOX yesterday , unlock bootloader, install recovery, install Leedroid 5.1.0 . After that I found the imei number has been change to 004999010640000 . How can I restore the original (
don't know what i did, restart to the boodloader mode, choose hboot, factory reset, it auto send me to recevery mode, reboot system immediately and the imei has been restore. Thanks God

Hello,
I decided to install linaro GUMMY ROM, i did a mistake and install a TORO build and my phone is a MAGURO BUILD... (cdma on GSM) So i dunno what happened, i lost IMEI , 3G , the phone don't ask for code pin...
I tried to work on the /EFS/ directory, but i noticed i don't have... I have just the factory directory that contains all the nv_data.bin etc
I did some trick, but nothing changes...
i really need help! i go to DEFKON tomarrow!!!! DAMN i need that good phone for call my friend when i jump on bowbowbow...

Did you backup your efs?
Yes, i backup, then delete the /factory (here my phone doesnt have efc but FACTORY folder) and from backup factory, i copyed NV_DATA.BIN and nv_DATA.bin.md5.

Connect the Android device with your computer and you should see a yellow box in the ODIN program. Press the "Start" button, wait a minute or so, and your device will be booted with this firmware.

I had big problem. No baseband , no Imei.
I tried to flash all roms: 2.1 , 2.2, 2.3
Even Samsung service center tried. No way!
Solution:
I got all back when I flased to; DarkyRom v 11 android 4.0.4 ICS

Could you please give me the link to download DarkyRom v11 android 4.0.4 ICS. I have the same problem to lost IMEI and Baseband when downgrade the ROM from 4.1.1 to 4.0.4

Rooted this phone several months ago, but it recently started playing up, then one day it got stuck at the loading screen and wouldn't go any further. Tried factory reset through CWM, tried restore, tried everything including clearing all the cache and such. Tried RUU from my carrier but that doesn't work.
Well basically I've gotten to the stage where I have a custom ROM, Revolution HD to be precise...the problem I have now is that the WIFI doesn't work, the GSM doesn't, hell if i dial *#06# there is no imei...if i dial *#*#4636#*#* I can't switch the radio on or change the gms bands.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP...I've got 10 days to fix this phone.

ooops :S what does your bootloader showes you now ?its still unlocked or relocked? according to me you have to lock your bootloader to flash an RUU..well now try installing the VIPERX 3.7.4 rom ...first wipe your phone completely to zero (factory reset in custom recovery,wipe cache partition wipe davilick cache) thn flash the boot.img in bootloader and then flash the rom and check
Provide your main version, hboot version and cid and someone will be able to help you.

I have a htc one m8 and it stuck at same setting after restart I mean I have a unlock password and if I change it that time it will change but after restart the whole change setting rolled back. I tried to factory reset but no luck even with hard reset then I try to unlock bootloader but at final step when it ask yes or no i select yes and then the device restart and come to same setting . please someone give me the solution thanks in advance. I also tried to update the ROM with ruu but after updating successfully device restart and returned to same position.
So i got a g3 for real cheap from a wholesaler who had them in excess stock lg d885 32gb variant but it had kitkat and the dealer said i can not update it by ota and I've to do it manually so i rooted ( it got rooted fine ) then i tried to flash twrp through flashify it said sucessful but when i rebooted into recovery it says fastmode started 750 i restarted the phone it is working fine but i can not boot to recovery i then tried to flash through adb and other methods same error. Then i thought i should factory reset it and root it again and install recovery but when i factory reset it the same fastmode came on then i had to take out the battery and it restarted just like normal no it didnt get factory reset please help me how can i install. Recovery on this .

You are flashing the wrong recovery for your model. It seems your phone is refurbished with a different board. So make sure your model and then flash recovery.Or try d850 recovery. Because most refurbished have d850 board.

But when i installed flashify it automatically detected d855 u sure want me to try d850

That's the problem try to understand. Refurbished are meddled with everything. If you want to make sure the model number. Open your phone. Your model will be written or board.

Check n seatch imei if its says sprint or atnt then flash accordingly

Refurbished phones have changed or tempered IMEI numbers. IMEI would say d855 but board inside phone is mostly changed.

Not really usually the Imei number is correct so if somehow u brick the device at least u could save it by reflashing the software..other sensors maybe replaced I have experienced many converted phones so I know
I have tried most CFW firmwares after following the Megathread, Im just curious because when checking on About phone the sim 1 and 2 IMEI and IMEI SV shows Unknown , also noticed the WI-FI MAC address on my phone is completely different than the Factory , if I flash back MIUI all goes back to normal, does anybody knows if this is normal?

if you did downlod evolution x latest and put it in sd card so that you flash it from twrp, before flashing you're already on cfw , select wipe advanced wipe and check system data cache dalvik swipe to wipe and then go home again and enter wipe select format data swipe then back home and install evolution x zip file , if if didn't work then yes you can go back to miui and it should work as long as it's official rom for your variant. if you got hard bricked you need to recover to the stock rom your device shipped with using sp flash tools , mine is miui 10.
