You are flashing the wrong recovery for your model. It seems your phone is refurbished with a different board. So make sure your model and then flash recovery.Or try d850 recovery. Because most refurbished have d850 board.

That's the problem try to understand. Refurbished are meddled with everything. If you want to make sure the model number. Open your phone. Your model will be written or board.

Refurbished phones have changed or tempered IMEI numbers. IMEI would say d855 but board inside phone is mostly changed.

Not really usually the Imei number is correct so if somehow u brick the device at least u could save it by reflashing the software..other sensors maybe replaced I have experienced many converted phones so I know

F240S/L which is it? What kdz to flash?

I was trying to install a new rom for my LG optimus G Pro F240, and after wiping in CWM recovery, I noticed that I downloaded the wrong rom, so I rebooted without thinking.
There was no way to get back into recovery, so I had to flash a new kdz using download mode and LG Flash Tool 2014, but upon flashing the new kdz, I get no network signal. I've noticed that the new version of android after flashing is 4.4.2, while the old one was 4.1.2, and also, it is now identified as a LG F240S in the android information, but previously only identified as LG F240. Upon opening the back of the phone, it says F240S/L 0227 down the bottom, F240 0025 on the bottom left, and F240S 0303 on the top right. Which model is my phone really? And where can I get a kdz that will make the network connection work again?
Edit: After attempting to flash F240S10W_00.kdz onto it, it was stuck on the SK telecom screen. Now I can't even flash the F240S20F_00.kdz file that previously worked (without network connection) because LG Flash Tool says that there is a problem with communication between cellphone and PC, this is what it looks like: puu.sh/gkpFJ/f669e8ff56 .png (Remove space)
Please help! How can I at least flash the other kdz file back onto it? I have an idea once that is done, I have my old, original rom backed up to my external sd, so if I can install any kdz that works or at least get into CWM, I can fix my phone, but even that isn't possible right now.

Model written on sticker under battery (Where your IMEI number is written) is actual model of the phone. Just remove the battery and read from sticker. All three version's lollipop Android 5 is out, here I have posted the links. Download the respective model's KDZ to get back signals:

It is not going into "Download Mode" ?? BTW such stickers with no variant name are very common for "refurbished" G Pro, I fear you got a refurb. You might have to install L, S and K one by one to see which one works.

Yes, I think I also got a refurbished, it was advertised as brand new and was a suspiciously low price, however, that's not a problem, it was working fine before I screwed up, so it is my fault.
Anyway, I managed to get it into download mode and got LG Flash Tool working, and got the lollipop that Waxim1 linked above for the F240S, the one for the F240L didn't work so I assume this phone is indeed a F240s. The only persisting problem now is the lack of network connection, how can I make it work again? I've tried rerooting, but no matter what I try, I can't root the phone now, and therefore can't install CWM in order to restore my working rom. Any ideas?

You cannot root and install CWM on lollipop yet. For that, you need to install kitkat rom, here is KDZ linke for Kit kat F240S. Install it and root and install CWM. Hit Thanks button if it helped you

Did you take EFS backup with freegee?? You can restore it.
Further, go to about phone and see if your IMEI number is shown there or not.
If you do not get signal and your IMEI number is correct, just flash stock kitkat KDZ and update to next version via WIFI, you will get the network. Then you can root and install any other rom.

No I didn't back up EFS, but my IMEI is still being shown as the correct one. I tried installing kitkat kdz, but this time, instead of overwriting my stuff, it is still there, but just with new kdz, and I would keep getting android.com.phone has stopped working over and over again, and the phone would eventually just reboot itself. I've tried flashing different kdz's and still get the same result, what should I do now?

Are you flashing KDZ as "CSE" flash or Normal flash? It needs to be factory reset. Turn off the phone, press Volume up+home+power and select factory reset. OR flash KDZ as CSE instead of Normal flash. Once KDZ is installed, update it to next official version from your cell phone's menu.

I've been using CSE flash, and that is what it did. Volume up + home + power didn't work, but I got the phone to reboot into recovery via adb command, and the recovery screen just shows an android icon with a warning icon, no buttons to select. I'll try normal flash and cse flash again.
Edit: After flashing, both normal and CSE, using the default 4.4.2 kdz, it is stuck on the SK telecom screen, it constantly restarts. How can I fix this phone? Really don't want to buy a new phone, I just bought this one. Thanks in advance for any help guys!
Edit 2: NVM, I figured out how to factory hard reset it, and got the kdz for 4.4.2 working once again, but upon trying to update from the phone, it says I'm using the latest version. My signal is, as expected, still not working. My baseband and IMEI are shown as the correct ones. I also tried flashing 4.1.2 kdz for f240s and get the same result, it still doesn't even let me update from phone. Perhaps the phone was network unlocked when I received it, and flashing a new kdz locked it again. Any ideas?
Any fixes? It would be great if I didn't have to get rid of this phone

Follow this: http://www.androidexplained.com/lg-g4-how-to-boot-into-download-mode/ and then when in downloade mode open lg tool as admin.
Select kdz and click on Normal flash, change language and region (in your case other country and English) Lg Tool should now process kdz and reset phone back to stock.
I'll be back on here @ 3pm GMT and see how you have got on

not if it is corrupted because data is lost on partitions.
Have you tried putting your phone into Download Mode and doing a full flash of the KDZ for your variant? You just need to hold Vol_Up and plug phone into computer to boot into Download Mode.

[CLOSED] Phone won't boot. Stuck at logo

Trying to check different AOSP ROMs to find the one with minimal a random reboot issue.
At first it was fine but then when I flashed some more and rebooted it would just show the LG logo over and over.
So I reflashed and after a while the flashing would be in progress and the phone would reboot to the LG logo which flashes over and over.
I am not able to proceed. I have tried several different ROMs with the same result.
I can boot into recovery just fine but each time it asks me if i want to reset. If I press yes it enters recovery mode.
Anybody knows what might be causing this?
Should I go back to stock via KDZ method?
I have a D855 32 GB international version
I reverted back to stock via kdz method which was successful but it's still happening!
Thats normal when it asks to reset i would still do the kdz method somethin till aint rite

I tried flashing once more and it didn't reboot mid-flash.
However, it still won't boot correctly, gets stuck at LG logo (which blinks over and over)
Could it be a kernel issue?
Tried with 3 different ROMs and it's the same.
I flashed only ROM and nothing else this time. Instead of rebooting into system from recovery I powered it off then powered on using hardware key. I saw the ROM's bootanimation for a second and then it got cut off and back to the LG logo.
I don't understand :/
Now i used to have a prob with my g2 when i flash a rom it bootloop if u have a good twrp back up try flashing rom then restoring only the boot image no system or cache just boot

I thought okay great and flashed gapps. Aaaaand it happened again.
So i went back to stock. But it's still happening !!!! The phone won't boot at all. Just flashes the logo

Second Phone Bootloop - How Do I Flash My Phone?

Hi,
I have the Verizon LG G4 model. My initial G4 was replaced by LG a few months ago and now this phone is bootlooping as well.
I have tried the Safe Mode, the Factory Reset option in the recovery menu but nothing works. I somehow managed to *ONLY ONCE* normally boot into the phone but it went to bootlooping after a few seconds of normal operation.
I *MUST* wipe the device clean before I send it to LG so I thought I'll try flashing the firmware.
I saw many guides but if someone can direct me to the one specifically for the Verizon model, that would be awesome! Also there seems to be a lot of tutorials but I don't know which ones the most recent.
Also, I went to the download mode and it says 633A B71 modified on the bottom. Is there a specific firmware file I should be downloading? I am downloading the VS98611A_06.kdz from
Code:

Thankyou~

SO I checked the last update from Verizon was the VS98626A version. So I downloaded VS98626A_00_0615_ARB02.kdz and started the flashing process via LGUP. Everything went smoothly, the phone showed progress and said the firmware was being flashed until it had to reboot the phone. When it reboots, the phone still goes back into boot loop mode.
Any ideas on how to fix this??

LG G4 H815 Euro - Troubles flashing stock ROM

Hello to all of you,
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
I bought second hand a LG G4 H815 with CyanogenMod 14 already installed on it.
Everything was fine until I installed my Ebanking apps, that would not function with an unlocked bootloader. I needed to return to a clean factory safe state...
It was the second time I flashed a rom in my whole life, the first one was a Galaxy S plus years ago.
I followed all the instructions for the KDZ flash in this tutorial but I stumbled upon a "Upgrade stopped due to error" in LG flash tool.
I retried 3 or 4 times but with no luck. I verified that the ROM was correct for my model and it was. European and all...
I tried LGUP but my phone is unknown ( at least it's detected)...
I read some posts and told myself "I probably have messed up something, let's try it again with a fresh thing"... I clicked on the factory reset button and carried on.
There the phone booted on TWRP (That i didn't know existed before this). As I explored the menus with a TWRP google search on the computer, I began to realize that the factory reset was maybe a bad thing to do with a custom rom. I tried to reboot but I always end up booting on TWRP.
I re-tried to flash in download mode, but with always the "Upgrade stopped due to error".
I also tried to flash directly from TWRP a stock rom. Didn't work.
I was beginning to lose it and tried to flash the CM14 version I had before, juste to have a working phone again, but even this didn't work... I'm stuck with a TWRP phone
I need some help there...

I was beginning to lose it and tried to flash the CM14 version I had before, juste to have a working phone again, but even this didn't work... I'm stuck with a TWRP phone
I need some help there...

The best way to flash stock image is to use official LG Bridge app. Download it, turn off your phone, connect it to PC while holding volume up button - phone will go into download mode. Then there is option for software restore in LG Bridge but i won't tell u where exactly. If it won't work i would try on another PC. If it won't work maybe you would be able to flash stock image trough send_command but i won't help you with it.
