Assuming it's a MotoBlur specific app. It'd require some massive tweaks to run on a non-Blur device.
Are there some special things in that app that you're looking for?

Hey guys,
Anyone know if there's a port for the messaging app from the Samsung galaxy s3? The one that calls when you put the phone to your ear.

Well the phone isn't even on sale yet, and when it is, it'll still take quite a while to port, if even possible. As nice as it'd be, I can't see it happening. Maybe cyanogen could add that in the future.

No there are a lot of other threads about TouchWiz features. It requires a full TouchWiz port and the ROM isn't out.

That sounds like a pocket dial waiting to happen.
Hi there,
I have found several times free apps in Samsung Apps when I had a galaxy S2. Unfortunately there is no such app for this market unless you are from Korea.
Can we "fool" the Samsung Apps that it is running in Galaxy S2 and not in Nexus?
What do you think in this issue. it is not fair to remove this app from Nexus.

And that is why its a nexus phone.
...of the people, by the people, for the people...
I think it's possible in some way, but who has the energy to do it? In my opinion, Samsung Apps sucks, and I bought a Nexus so I didn't have to put up with developer-specific ****.
I got tapatalk free, some dictionaries free, 2 major newspaper subscription free at Samsung App. Trust me, it is a good option to have Samsung Apps in Nexus like in Galaxy S2.

Samsung's "Premium Suite Upgrade" looks like a really cool update for the Galaxy S III. Do you think someone will port this to our Galaxy Nexus? I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus and would love to see what I posted in their video teasers make it to our Galaxy Nexus'.

It's only for their own TuchWizzed Android. Probably ROMs like CNS could have that in the future?
CNS is AOSP android themed like touchwiz. If it will have this, then any other rom will be able to use it.

I have I galaxy nexus that I rooted and flashed custom roms. This guy on craigslist is offering his s3 with a case and an extended battery for my nexus. Is it worth the trade? I like the roms on my nexus like xylon(it takes paranoid android, cyanogenmod, aokp and blends it into one rom.). Does the s3 have that or something similar that includes pie controls?

My wife has a gnex and I have a gs3, and I'd probably keep the gnex if I were you. I prefer AOSP ROMs and they just work a bit better on the gnex that the gs3 without giving up much speed.
Slim bean works great on the gs3 for me so far though. If you really need LTE, might be worth the trade, otherwise I'd stick with gnex.
Or you could do the trade, sell the gs3, and buy a new nexus 4

LTE is addiction once get the hang of it
Pacman ROM is what you are looking for if you want all the features in one ROM.
GS3 vs Nexus
- Better CPU
- Better GPU
- 2x RAM
- Better Display
- SD Card Slot
- LTE
Sounds like a no brainer to me.

Galaxy SIII
I would go with the Galaxy S3. Better specs hardware wise. And there's a ton of great roms for it.
