That's a ROM project page, so there won't be any RADIO's there...
If I were you, I'd try the corresponding GNex development subforum and their RADIO stickies, like this one.
But if you're on XXLA02, keep in mind that it's the latest official GNex radio image
and do a search, don't aggravate mods

XXKK6
- Standard European baseband
- Originally from the yakju ICL53F factory image and the OTA update (ICL53F from ITL41F)
ICL53F is for CDMA/LTE, but I am using GSM version !!!!!!! where can I get the XXKK6 for GSM version
There's a bug in the AOKP M5 kernel which causes data drops. Flash Franco M3 for a temporary fix.
android baseband file don't have CDMA and GSM version ! so doesn't matter which phone are you install with ?

Why not go to CM7? I think there us no official froyo update for Latin America. Just follow the guide I posted on your other threat but first flash the nordic or any other ROM. If you want to stay on a stock ROM, root it and instal baseband switcher. This is already installed in CM7. You just have to select the country/operator you're in.
CM7 indeed.
Or try CM9 from developer Quarx. I have been using CM9 since December and it's fast and stable now. Great batery life as well. Only the videocamera needs to be worked on, but if this feature is not used by you, then CM9 is your choice.
so you mean i don't have to flash it "SBF file"? or what
and if i have to flash it what's the right on "just normal working" in Algeria"north Africa".
thank you guys thanks a lot for your guide

Flash Nordic sbf, then flash CM7 or CM9. Check if you are able to make/receive calls. If unable to, use the baseband switcher for your area.
thanks alot
hi, thank you.
-but there isn't Algeria in "baseband switcher" what do you think i should do
thanks again
Yes, in the Baseband Switcher you do not have countries, but regions and frequencies.
According to this site you should choose a band with GSM 900/1800 mhz frequencies (you will probably need to test a few, to see which works best).
Test with some basebands on the switcher until you find the right one
thank you guys
thanks guys for every things i'm now:
- Motorola defy
- CM7 "latest nightly" (04/03/2012) firmware 2.3.7

Hello,
I am new to the Galaxy Nexus and 4.0. I traded for a Nexus and it appears to be a unlocked engineering model currently running 4.0.1
I flashed the newest version of clockwork recovery on and see that the new 4.0.4 for GSM was released today. I am reading a lot of back and forth regarding the compatibility of the release so I figured I would check here before I dig in.
Am I able to simply put the 4.0.4 GSM release on my SD and wipe/flash using Clockwork install from zip? or is there something I am missing.
I don't care about losing all my data. I would appreciate any help guys!
Model Number: Galaxy Nexus (ENGINEERING)
Android Version: 4.0.1
Baseband version: I9250UGKKA
Kernel version: 3.0.1-ga052f63

Build number: ITL41F.I9250UGKKA
the 4.0.4 OTA is a upgrade from 4.0.2. you need 4.0.2 as a prequisite and its for "yakju" devices, verify if your device is 'yakju' it says Galaxy Nexus but 'yakjuxw' has Galaxy Nexus.

thanks for the quick reply. Where do I find if this is YAKJU or not, bootloader?

edit: lol you insulted yourself
Looks like I am on yakjuux. Am I able to move to jakju 4.0.2 and then update to 4.0.4?
Sorry for the back and forth I just need to get the various version straight before I start going crazy flashing

Would you mind doing a couple of things before you flash anything please?
1) Could you check the version of your bootloader? Reboot into the bootloader and read it from there. If you have an engineering version, I'd REALLY appreciate a dump before you flash anything over it.
2) Could you dump your radio? If you don't know how to do it, I can guide you through it. You need root.
We haven't been able to get ahold of any engineering bootloaders/radios yet, and it seems you lucked out.
It would be very much appreciated!!! Thanks.
Any news? Can you dump your radio and bootloader for us?

Hello,
I just decided to flash Cyanogenmod 9 to my phone to get 4.0.4 and noticed that the signal indicator was hollow and had an x in it after waking up. I then abandoned Cyanogenmod 9 and flashed the 4.0.4 stock image to my phone. Now I can't seem to keep the device connected via mobile voice and data and all I seem to be able to do is reboot the device. I am kind of new to the GSM scheme, but the APN list is empty and I can't seem to scan for mobile networks. To me it seems like the radio is completely disabled. Here are the specs, if anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. I am going to try to restore my backup of my previous rom. Alternatively if anyone has the stock radio image for the yakjuxw, I could also just try to restore that. Thank you for reading my post ^_^.

grab the radio of ICL53F from http://code.google.com/intl/en-EN/android/nexus/images.html
that is the same one you had on yakjuxw.
4.0.2
Thank you. About an hour after my post I tried flashing the yakku stock firmware. I appear not to be having the issue on 4.0.2! I have a sneaking suspicion that the problem is the kernel. I base my hypothesis on the fact that 4.0.2 yakju works fine and Cyanogenmod 9 had similar issues with the same baseband. I'm going to try flashing the newer baseband and staying with 4.0.2 to see if it recurs. Thank you again for confirming the yakjuxw used the same baseband as the yakju! This is all new to me and I appreciate the advice.

I'm afraid of you won't learn anything from this. The 4.0.2 ROM(!) is sticked to GSM/CDMA, but 4.0.4 is sticked to WCDMA preferred...
Hello,
I think the problem comes from Android 4.0.4 itself. I have the same problem with a stock 4.0.4 flashed from the factory image provided by Google.
Other people have the same issue and are talking about it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24304822
Same problem here. After update to 4.0.4 I always lost the cellular signal when screen has gone down. I tried with different radios (xxkk6, xxkl1) but it didn't help. Anytime I move back to 4.0.2, problem disappears.
Originally my Gnex was yakjuxw.
My GN was yakju
Strange.. I suspected until now it is related to the difference of yakju and its variants...
Sent from Galaxy Nexus
I've checked and my phone is a Yakju, I tweeted a pic when I got it : https://twitter.com/#!/mephissto/media/slideshow?url=http://yfrog.com/kicn0p
Apologies, I have searched but no luck. Can someone please point me to the latest stock kernel ? 4.04 or 4.03?
My GNex is running 4.04
Thanks
IMM76D
The latest is probably IMM76D and the only one for 4.0.4
But am looking for info on Latest 4.0.3 kernel which "older" then the above. Thing is that the way kernels are names is very confusing. They are "LP2, LP4, LPB, LPE, LPH, LPQ, LP7". but in which order ?!
4.0.4.
4.0.3 is not a official release

The kernel is included in the boot.img file in the archive.
Does anyone have a list of changes? Or even an unofficial list? So far there have been four 4.0.4 updates and it's getting a little confusing. Ignoring the first VZW leak (IMM30) there have been IMM76B, the first official 4.0.4, then IMM76I released only to GSM owners. I remember reading that the AOKP team said this was strictly a kernel update. Leankernel and faux kernel both integrated these changes.
Now there's the Verizon update that comes with a brand new build number, IMM76K. So now that everyone who wants to have had a chance to flash it, I ask you. What's different? Is the kernel version different? Any bug fixes? Or did they just feel like updating the build number for the hell of it because it's Verizon? lol
Right now I'm running AOKP Milestone 5 with leankernel 3.4.0 so I should have everything from IMM76I (if there's anything in there that even makes a difference for us LTE users). Is there anything in IMM76K that would be worth loosing all the AOKP stuff?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481044
you're already on 4.0.4, VZW 4.0.4 is just the same GSM 4.0.4 its just been approved for the VZW network.
the important thing you need to get out of it is to flash its radios and bootloader [optional]
but at least the radios.
Oh yea forgot to mention the radios. I already flashed those on top of AOKP. I was previously running the radios from the last 4.0.4 leak and the bootloader is the same (PRIMELA03). I first flashed the factory 4.0.2 radios and bootloader just to be safe. Then I flashed the new radio and bootloader zip in clockwork mod.
I was asking if there's any changes in the actual ROM, aside from the radios and bootloader.
