Im still learning this stuff and the original psfreedom and backup manager have taken good care of me. Now I need to back up nba2k11. Tried with both backup manager and open manager. Backup manager copied the game but the controller didn't work. Open manager gave me an eboot error.
Seems I need a new version of psfreedom to work with open manager ?? It has been ported to other devices but not the incredible as far as I know. Would I be better off with one of the usb devices ??
i had a rooted t mobile rom and i accidently erased a system file and afterward couldn't close application via task monitor.
i installed a new rom (paradox II) and downloaded task manager but still i can't close running apps.
please help
Is it possible to create a script with gscript to clear app data? I want to clear dsp manager data with gscript just like using snd3254 -dspmode script. I dont know it is dsp manager problem, but after clearing app data , the sound improved, but last a few songs only. I need to clear data back. A gscript i think will help but dont know the command

Hi All,
Apologies for the novella below but I wanted to be as through as possible.
Been having a few problems with my M8 & I was wondering if any of you had some helpful tips.
At the moment I'm running a One M8 on 5.01 with stock Sense, Rooted with SuperSU installed & Xposed Framework & Xtended settings for tweaks & whatnot.
I'm trying to add a custom Unlock sound & having some real problems & I'm not too sure where they lie. I was hoping someone has had a similar issue.
There is a feature in Xtended Settings that allows you to modify your Lock/Unlock sound but it only allows you to select one of the stock Ringtones, Notifications or Alarms.
My plan was to just add the sound to the same location as the stock notifications however when I use any file manager with Root access to transfer the tone it will copy, show up in the Notification sound menu of the stock settings but will make no sound when its selected & will not appear in the tone list in Xtended Settings.
If I then navigate back to the Notification tone folder my custom tone will not appear, if I try to transfer the tone again it will cause my phone to hang & then reboot... It seems to me that its a problem with my phone not having access to modify files on the root of the device but surely that can't be the case due to the the modules installed requiring Root access... although I may be wrong as Windows is more of my strong point than Android.
Any help would be much appreciated folks.
Let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks :highfive:

Did you change permissions on the new sound file to match the others in the folder and reboot?

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, I've tried doing that, when I reboot the phone the Tone disappears from my file manager & trying to copy the Tone again causes it to reboot... Baffling
i usualy use start up task managers to stop apps that i dont use to run when the phone turns on but on my g4 when i restart the phone it doesnt stick.
i tried es task manager and some other apps.and im rooted lollipop 5.1..... i tried on my nexus 6 and es start up manager works .
