Beats audio for CM7

is it possible to put beats audio on CM7? i love cm7 and have beats headset, but have been on Newt's inc hd just for beats?

No, but you can enable srs wow sound..
Open terminal emulator and type
su
snd3254 -dspmode
And choose option 2
You have to do it every time you reboot.

Use option 10 for Audio.
You should choose option 10 for audio. This plus bass booster and equalizer enabled in dsp manager gets back the SRSWOWHD like sound from the DInc2 stock. Thanks to this CM7 is now my everyday ROM.

Edit: picture doesn't want to work, I'm getting "could not open function defined in shared library libhtc_acoustic" when I put in the command.

[Q] Which bluetooth headset do you use with your GNex?

I am currently using a Motorola H17txt. It worked great with my Droid X; however, with the GNex, I get what sounds like feedback (some squealing) in the earpiece that I didn't get when I used it with the Droid X. Prefer an A2DP one with an ear hook since I have yet to find one that's comfortable to wear without one. Thanks.

I use the motorola S305. Worked fine with my HTC Desire, but seems to drop connection with the GNex. Otherwise, sound quality is ok, very comfortable.

I use a Jawbone Icon, it works great.

Might have to get those for working out. Looking more for a mono A2DP one so I can listen to my Google Voice and text messages. Does anyone have the Motorola Elite Silver and Elite Flip? Those look pretty nice, but don't want to drop that much on something that might sound as bad on this phone as my H17txt do. Tried the Jawbone, but they hurt my ear too much. They never fit right, even with the earloop, so I can't utilize their technology and people on the other end have a hard time hearing me.

I bought on ebay a headphone coming from a Galaxy Note2 to use on the Galaxy Nexus. The headphone looks like that:

It looks like that the volume control buttons don't operate. Nothing happens when I click on these buttons. However may be the microphone works because I was able to talk while the phone is in my pant pocket.
I use N7Player to play audio. The best I can do is to enable the option "Enable headset controls" then when I hit the +/- button of the headphone volume control, the actual action is move previous/next track. May be it's a cool things but I'd rather prefer to control the volume instead. The 3rd button (having 2 dots) works as pause/play which is perfect.
However, outside of the N7Player app, the buttons of the headphone have no effects. Is there anything special to make these buttons work?

Mine works the same, using poweramp and dont have the option to change the volume via headset.

How come you can use Tapatalk HD on your Galaxy Nexus? When it was on sale for $1. I could not buy it because the Play store said it is incompatible with my device.

[Q] LG 730 headset music problems

I just got a LG 730 Tone+ headset to go with my Epic 4g Touch. It pairs fine and using it for calls works great. However, music playback is a problem. When I try to listen to music over the headset it will play for about 9 seconds and then the music app locks up. I have tried Cloudskipper, Google Play Music, and the built in music app, all do the same thing. I've tried stock, rooted stock, and 3 or 4 custom ROMS and all do the same thing. I even returned the first headset I got and the replacement pair does the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there some sort of Bluetooth incompatibility? I had a Samsung HM-1700 that would stream music fine. However, I lost it and I was hoping this LG would work just as well.

Is it A2DP (two earpieces) or Mono (one earpiece)? If it's Mono, download Mono Bluetooth Router from the Play Store and you should be good to go.

It's two earpieces. The Samsung one I had before was mono and it worked great.

No subwoofer output

My device is MTCE_GS, px5-rk3368 running Hal9k 4.2
The problemb is very low sound volume from subwoofer out, so I've to connect my subwoofer from front L,R output.
My active subwoofer have 2RCA. Now I'm using AudioQuest hard splitter and it's fine.
Anyway to fix? Is it hardware or software problem?

I've set
Loudness Left: 48
Bass: 80Hz/1.5
Sub: 20
Subwoofer is now working, but seems like cut freq doesn't work as expected when boost the loudness.

Is your HU a MCU version that starts with MTCD, MTCE, MTCP ?
