I just got a LG 730 Tone+ headset to go with my Epic 4g Touch. It pairs fine and using it for calls works great. However, music playback is a problem. When I try to listen to music over the headset it will play for about 9 seconds and then the music app locks up. I have tried Cloudskipper, Google Play Music, and the built in music app, all do the same thing. I've tried stock, rooted stock, and 3 or 4 custom ROMS and all do the same thing. I even returned the first headset I got and the replacement pair does the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there some sort of Bluetooth incompatibility? I had a Samsung HM-1700 that would stream music fine. However, I lost it and I was hoping this LG would work just as well.
Is it A2DP (two earpieces) or Mono (one earpiece)? If it's Mono, download Mono Bluetooth Router from the Play Store and you should be good to go.

It's two earpieces. The Samsung one I had before was mono and it worked great.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with A2DP

Hi guys!
I broke my Wildfire's original headphone's cord so its controller and microphone won't work. So I decided to buy a headphone with microphone and volume, play/pause, prev/next song controller that is Wildfire and any other HTC device compatible. Do you guys know is there something like this?
If there not I can go with a controller accessory like:

}
(not with the headphone, only the controller)
Thanks in advance.

I only know of these:

I'm not thinking about the original one. More like Steelseries Siberia v2 iPhone (not sure it's compatible with WF) or smth like it.
Stock iPhone remote works partially with the Wildfire. The central button works (i.e. to play/pause songs), but the volume control doesn't.
(What I have stated above is tested by me a very long time back, so, it may not be 100% accurate. Unfortunately, my iPod Touch's headphone remote is now broken with excessive (ab)use, so it no longer works)

I have a friend with iPod Touch. I will test his headphone then post here. Also I will test the nokia controller.
I am currently using a Motorola H17txt. It worked great with my Droid X; however, with the GNex, I get what sounds like feedback (some squealing) in the earpiece that I didn't get when I used it with the Droid X. Prefer an A2DP one with an ear hook since I have yet to find one that's comfortable to wear without one. Thanks.
I use the motorola S305. Worked fine with my HTC Desire, but seems to drop connection with the GNex. Otherwise, sound quality is ok, very comfortable.
I use a Jawbone Icon, it works great.

Might have to get those for working out. Looking more for a mono A2DP one so I can listen to my Google Voice and text messages. Does anyone have the Motorola Elite Silver and Elite Flip? Those look pretty nice, but don't want to drop that much on something that might sound as bad on this phone as my H17txt do. Tried the Jawbone, but they hurt my ear too much. They never fit right, even with the earloop, so I can't utilize their technology and people on the other end have a hard time hearing me.
Hey all
I just got this BT device to make calls in the car and noticed, that i can't, bacause voice is not transmitted from phone to Parrot. When i make the call, Parrot just goes mute, i can't hear user on the other side and he ca't hear me. If i disable Parrot and use the phone, when call is active, it works...when i transmit call over Parrot again...nada.
Music and ringing works fine over Parrot, voice dialing and everything...except normal phone calls. I cheked bt setting and both music and calls are activated, so it should work..right? I use stock rom
I tried this Parrot device on some dumb nokia phone, and it works just fine, so Parrot is working.
I also trid some nokia bt headset with S3 and it worked...so Phone is working too...rihgt? Parrot support says that S3 works fine with Minikit Neo.
Any idea?
tnx
teva
exactly the same probleme I have with Lumia 925 and WP8 AMber.
My parrot minikit has 1.14 firmware.
I tried tons of options... nada.
Using a BB9330 no problem (audio is tranfered to Parrot if phone-call is done on the mobile)
... any ideas?
Thanks
Seems you are not alone, but contacting Parrot seems to be the only way to get a fix http://forum.parrot.com/english/viewtopic.php?id=12618
Try a new ROM maybe?
Would using this help: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.elinext.android.parrot.mynos&hl=en_GB (only for droid)
I currently have the older Mini Kit and it's always worked without issue regardless of ROM

Hi all,
I recently bought the new Huawei Freebuds 3i. They are really nice and work pretty good with Android.
In Windows the problems start to happen. As far as I understood every headset with a microphone has a Stereo device and a Hands-Free device. The first is for multimedia such as YouTube, music and so on. The second one is for voice calls, or apps like Discord/TS. While the stereo works fine, the hands-free doesn't. In Microsoft Teams, and all the other apps, I configured audio IN/OUT to use the Hands-Free device, like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
What happens is:
Insert earphones;
Start the call;
For the first 2 minutes the call is perfect. I can both hear and speak;
After these 2 minutes the IN audio doesn't work anymore. The mic will still continue working and the other people will continue hearing me, but I can't hear them.
When I go on the sound panel I see that the sound is playing, but I can't hear it through my earphones!
It's like something goes in conflict in the earphones and they stop speaking. I have tried lots of setting but none of them worked. By now the only way to use the earphones is to use them with an external microphone (like my gaming headset's ones) and it will work. But obviously I would like to use them with the integrated ones.
Has somebody had this issue and solved it?
Thanks in advance folks.
EDIT: I have now just tried disabling all the other audio sources, keeping only the Hands-Free device. It still gives the problem. After some minutes the sound just stops, although the audio seems going on. And obviously, having only this device as output, I cannot hear any sound from the PC, neither YT or Windows sounds.
Hi guys,
I have the Alexa app installed on my phone and it works fine, except for when I'm in my car, connected to the Bluetooth radio.
Since the car's mic isn't always on and transmitting audio to the phone I'm unable to get my phone to respond to the "Alexa" voice commands.
Is there any way to select between microphone inputs to allow me to get the voice controls?
I run an unrooted, stock Poco F3.
Thank you.

Have you tried going to settings, searching for android auto, then Android Auto settings/'Hey Google' detection and putting the toggle on for always listening even if screen is off...?

I appreciate you're not using ok google, but wondered if this would help...
No, I really haven't tried that cause my car doesn't have Android auto, but I'll give it a go and see what happens... Thanks.
Tried it and still no go. Bummer...
