I've also had problems with the playstore of this issue recently. Waiting on a fix from Google.

That's weird I'm downloading apps just fine try reflashing the ROM if your clearing the cache and data then that means it is Google related

My gf had this issue to ... it took us a while to figure out that that card she was using had expired so Google check out will not process any purchases .... check the your card or on your computer go to Googleand look at your account billing details ....

I know since they switched to play market TMobile won't let you by 3rd party apps you have to purchase them through the developer

Market troubles

Any body have this issue? I have tried everything multiple hard resets, clearing cache/data and uninstalling updates. I have searched and found nothing in regards to this issue only that people reported apps came back after a few days, mine on the other hand has been weeks so I have to manually search for my updates which sucks. Any ideas would be much appreciated I'm running complete stock and have sent multiple emails to Google's support team or what they call support with no answers

How or when did this happen? Did you just open the market one day and see this or was it after a new phone or rom flash? Did you check the market website and try clearing out the registered devices?

Go to this page you can sign in and have a specialist call you right after you fill the form out. I have used this more than once they have helped every time. It says music but they help with all market problems.

Thank you very much going to gibe it a go right after the Vikings game, I did go to the online market and its weird it shows all the phones I've ever used and carrier being sprint but on the sph-d710 it shows no carrier little odd
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Made the call, they say this is a known issue affecting any and all phones on all carriers with a fix in the works, not sure if I can completely buy in on this as no one else here has the same issue (so far) and none of my customers have had the issue either. Hopefully no one else is affected but it seems like it could be random

Did u try clearing the cache? If that doesn't work, try clearing data again and rebooting.

Clear cache in recovery or the app data? when I wipe market app data it wipes cache too.

Anyway, wiped the market app data again and rebooted. Still nothing.

Fairly well known issue. Many things you try won't help. It's been reported many times to the google market team. (They don't have a fix yet)
I don't have a fix, I was plagued with this for months, then one day it resolved itself on it's own.
Ugh, lame.

Whats lame? His answer or the problem in general. Because Compusmurfs answer is right on. I've suffered from it for a couple of months now with no fix in sight either from the community or Google themselves. Sucks.

Guess what I just found out!
Titanium was the what caused the issue in the first place, by using their Market Doctor. That's what caused the issue!

Yeah, it seems to only be working for a fraction of users, just wanted to give people a heads up in case theirs was compatible like mine. Sorry to disappoint

Huh... this is weird. I've had it installed for a while now; via the play store - I'm rooted and it gives me a notification saying "Unsupported Device," but it works just fine.

Rooted devices display the 'unsupported device' banner. The application should still function fully though

Stop Google updates

I know this question has been posed before but...its a shame to be on these great custom roms such as Project x and Jv4 and have themed versions of Google apks like playstore and you tube, only to be borked by Google play services that updates to current versions! Can this be averted at all, I heard that the process can be froze via Titanium backup? Any help would be great thanks. ...
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Uncheck Automatic Updates in Play Store settings... That should be all you need to do.

Yeah that might do it too, I never do that... I just back the important ones up with Ti Backup. Also try going into the App Manager, hit menu button, then "Clear App Preferences". And if it asks you when installing an app don't hit Verify and Install. It checks the Play Store when you do that.
Ok tried all the above even after a full restore unticked all do not update and sync, and uninstall updates and it just bounces right back to new versions of play store, YouTube and google voice, currently looking for correct process to freeze possibly with TB
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
They push them through Google Play Services now, you can't stop it, you just have to find a themed version of the latest.
