Android System at 53%

Why is it so high?
Ever since the last OTA update it seems to be worse..
I have downloaded *but uninstalled* a non market app.. is there a way to scan to see if there is a rogue app hiding?

I can't remember what I was running on a touch wiz ROM.. but I'm using Task650/ktoonzsez aokp ROM and android system is only 6%

Edit: there is an app called carat on the market that will take a few days but will periodically monitor your phone and apps and let you know which ones are battery/system hogs or problem makers

Only thing that sucks is it takes a week to start to get info.. but it looks useful!

I was on a touchwiz ROM and getting that too. It made my battery life complete sh*t. But I've been running AOKP with no problem

I believe there is a cell standby zip you can flash to fix that.

It is same trick as Galaxy Nexus: put the font files in /system/fonts, and put .xml file in /etc
Prerequisite: rooted S3 (any variants) and Root Explorer
Note: some applications still use Roboto (like facebook).

anyone upload the original xml file.... shoulda known better. Lost roboto font when installing the xml

Reflash your ROM.

So how is this any different than using this
com.monotype.android.font.WindowsPhone7-1.apk
No need for root. I have been using this for a while now and works great. Is there a difference between this and the OP's?

Everything seems to work fine, just 1 little bug. The calculator is named 1.0dip and it force closes when you try to open it. I'm running MOAR also. I cleared app data for the calculator too

Edit: Do all the new themes work for the S3?

I tried the Bluemonko and it works fine on the S3, its pretty nice.

I love it but the Elegant Theme has the signal bar icons slightly hovered over the rest. I believe it's an XML error of some sort. This was flashed overtop BlazerRom. If you have any solutions, let me know! Willing to test!

Why is Adblock Plus using so much data? I'm pretty sure it isn't actually using 30GB of data, I could be wrong. But why is it reporting that much data used?

Looks like it was running amok. Have you tried force stopping it and then reloading? Hope you have an unlimited plan or that is going to hurt. Have you verified the data usage by using the dial code to see what the provider says you have used?
