I was looking at my new Sprint Galaxy Nexus and noticed it doesn't have a sim slot?? Maybe its built in the phone?? But I thought Lte was used via a sim slot as with Verizon Wireless??

One X also uses micro sim only so it should work without any problems as its unlocked.
I hope it will.

No. It will not work. Verizon uses sim cards as their LTE network is based on GSM BUT, they are a CDMA carrier.
To clarify: those sim cards are for their LTE network...but Verizon is primarily a CDMA carrier. The hardware on the One X is incompatible.

Are you.sure and has anyone tried it

Babydoll is right, at best you might be able to get data if their LTE network is based on GSM but no cell/txt/mms and that is at best. It is quite probable that none of it will work.
CDMA != GSM

What exact model and SIM card provider are you talking about? If it is the N7100, yes it will work but WITHOUT LTE.

It will work but instead of 4g connection for data you'll hve hsdpa+
So I have a Verizon galaxy nexus and I'm flashed to cricket. I've searched for this but none on the galaxy nexus...can someone help me remove their throttle? Thanks
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
The throttle is most likely carrier sided, You can't do anything about it yourself if it's on the carrier's side.
There is other threads of people doing it by flashing a zip but that was for the zio...he said he was at around 3 gigs over what he was suposed to get. Something in the build.prop
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
If it's anywhere, it's in build.prop. I think, well in Verizon's case, there's a folder called "throttle" or something to that effect. The method should not vary by device, possibly android version though.

I flashed my VZ GNEX using primes script but I have no MMS, do you have working MMS and what did you do to get it?
I am getting my HTC one Maxx to replace this tomorrow and will probably sell my phone on ebay. Question though. What do I do with the 4g card. Does it get sold with the phone..or do I just sell the phone..not sure.
You need to keep the SIM. It contains your contacts. Buyer will use his own SIM.

is it a sim? I was under the impression it wasn't a sim, it was just a sim card for 4g capabilities.

I am buying a HTC One Max. I was talking about the 4G Sim card from the Galaxy Nexus ^^
Same idea for both phones. If you sell your SIM card with your phone, you will be giving them personal info.

thanks,. wasn't sure. Thought it was only for 4g.
You're welcome. SIM cards originally just supported data, then later contained additional info.

Well that is both true and untrue. While the phone does have gsm hardware the gsm sim card is integrated into the phone. To use it on another gsm network you need their sim card. There are mods to change that but it is not for the faint of heart.
