I updated firmware to 2.24.401(s-off),but now I have a camera issue,I want to go back to 1.29.708.16(I can't find this firmware) then turn to s-on for warranty, there isn't update to 4.2 in HK(where I bought the phone),so how can I downgrade firmware to 1.29,and can I change the firmware number by change "mainver" in android-info.txt ?
My developer edition HTC One M8 thinks it's the Europe edition. I'm still on 4.4.2, because the firmware won't update to 4.4.3 when I try to flash it, claiming it's the wrong model or something to that nature. How do I change it so it thinks it's the right model, and from there update my firmware, and eventually update to 4.4.3?
Edit: I wiped everything and flashed a new 4.4.2 ROM onto it, and flashing the firmware worked. Successfully updated firmware and updated to 4.4.3.
Hi i'm currently on old firmware and want to get this newest one 1.95.401.3.
How should i do this? is there a RUU for it? Or do i have to S-OFF and then install firmware separately?
When HTC releases that particular RUU, it will be available here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/htc-10-stock-rom-ruu-t3378240
Also, 1.95.401.3. OTA update hasnt been released yet officially

You have an obscure US variant, known as LRA (LTE for Rural Areas = a regional carrier version of the Verizon variant).
I don't suggest owning this phone for most folks, especially non-US, and non-LRA users. Its hard to update, hard to modify. Return it to the seller, if you can.
You can update to Lollipop with official RUU. But this is the most recent RUU I've seen for LRA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66044439&postcount=37

As I said, this version is hard to update. You won't be able to update it OTA or HTC Sync.
Anyone got the latest update for wwe uk version to be flashed via .zip?.
I got prompted for the update yesterday but rooted and s-off so it'll bork my phone.
I believe it's android 6.0.1.
