I9000 BOOTANIMATION Zip || Original Standard Stock Galaxy S Animation - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

Some Custom Kernels replace the original Bootanimation because "Custom Bootanimation Support". So here is the Original as a Encoded Zip-Version.
THIS IS THE FINAL LAGFREE-VERSION FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY S.
if you want to make it smoother, just read this . but i have modified the desc.txt and for me it looks like original
perherps it is necessary to rename in sanim.zip or bootanimation.zip
1. look in your folder /system/media for sanim.zip or bootanimation.zip
2. note permissions
3. replace with new zip and set noted permissions
4. be happy.

smooth means the speed of the animation
the attached file in post#1 is not for flash.
semaphore supports custom bootanimation. you can easyly replace bootanimations, see the instructions in post#1
- use a root explorer like "ghost commander"
- go in your folder /system/media and look for "bootanimation.zip" or "sanim.zip"
if you don't understand, just post in your language, perherps someone can help
..
..
.

Thanks mate! i m flashing those now

I think i cant flash it because of i m on stock rom.?
i cant see any .zip gile in system/media.
There are animation files formatted as .qmq
?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250 using Tapatalk!

if you have semaphore, you can use the animation.
try to mount system and flash.
if you've done look in the folder /system/media
last tip: just ask at the semaphore thread for instructions.

Bootloop!
Hello,
i applied your new bootanimation but now it is getting in some sort of bootloop i 'don't see swirley animation of the S, I only see ANDROID..
what do i have to do??
Fast response please

maybe you have to rename it in sanim.zip or bootanimion.zip or something similar
just take a look for a single zip-file in /system/media

And my stock files were also named bootanimation so i didn't change the name for that reason.

works fine

go into recovery, try wipe cache and dalvik cache and fix permissions
and when nothing will help, just flash the kernel again

Custom bootanimation is usually named
bootanimation.zip or sanim.zip
Look in /data/local or /system/media
Rename the custom bootanimation, and SGS default
/system/media/bootsamsung.qmg
is shown at next boot.
Unless default is missing, there is no need to install the file provided in this thread to revert to original Samsung.

kernels with "custom bootanimation support" will not support the original bootsamsung.qmg
there is no need to delete something, just replace a zip file.

Custom kernels for Samsung ROMs:
Semaphore or Midnight
- rename/delete custom bootanimation will play default /system/media/bootsamsung.qmg
Please elaborate what kernels you are talking about.
We don't need to install what we already have.

no, there is everything working fine
i cant understand, why Basjoo has no stock bootanimation displayed
he has flash rooted stock rom and semaphore, no bootanimation.
dont know what he wants with the zipfile, when there is the bootanimation.qmg supported.
it should be displayed.

no after flashing value pack for the second time i got the boot animation back, but my problem is that it is laggy.. So i wanted to replace it with a smoother bootanimation. I thought that i had to delete both bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg files and replace them with the new bootanimation.zip

Cool Boot Animations ?

Anyone got any cool boot animations for galaxy s2 . Post here !
We can now use boot animation .zip's with CF-ROOT Kernel here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399)
Custom boot animations and binaries
CF-Root also supports custom boot animations:
- /system/media/bootanimation.zip
- /data/local/bootanimation.zip
And custom boot binaries:
- /data/local/bootanimation.bin
these are nice (the droids) :

You just took the bootanimation.zip and put it in system/local ?
copied the file into the data/local and system/media folder but its not working, any ideas?
btw using the stock rom
Stock ROM (actually kernel) doesn't support bootanimations.
Will these work on a stock KE7 kernel at all? And if so where do I place them?
Super, thx perfekt work
You need the CF-Root kernel for bootanimation.zips to work I believe.

XDA Developers boot animation I have the 480x800 jpg on mine. Smooth but pixelated. The png version lags but looks better.
Back to the stock S boot animation I like how it says Galaxy S II at the bottom.
Maybe someone can create one with the Galaxy S II text flying in or something? Or maybe a variant of the BIOS boot animation for the S II?
.
I've found the perfect program for boot animations. There are over 200 animations and they are easy to switch. Also there are many for our screen resolution.
It's called: "Absolute System Root Tools" and it can be found on the android market. It works without problems on my cooked and rooted rom.
Android Astronaut Animation can be found on SGS1 themes forum .
Not a zip its done in the original qmg format and just replaces the originals in system/media .Works on stock roms .
Copy here sorry can not find the original post credit to the originator name unknown . Unzip and place the two qmg files in system /media after backing up the originals .This is not a boot-animation zip file .

i wonder y hasent anyone spoken about galaxy s2 not having bootanimation.zip at the first place :S n its a stock rom rooted with a different kenel, not CF-root.
can anyone shed some light on this please
I haven't tried to customize my boot screen yet, which is surprising considering I've created plenty of them. The only downside(upside) is the boot up is really quick.

But was really weird
the was like some missing pixels.
The part where it says to acces recovery mode, the buttons were wrong.
The OS Version said like 2.3.4 and not 2.3.7
and recovery mode text was green
It also said "Made by..."
Which I totally hate when they do that.
So I did my own, without any of the stuff and the correct information.

S3 shutdown animation

If someone is interested...
i've placed the Samsung Galaxy S3 shutdown.qmg file in the folder /system/media/video and replaced the new one for the old one and it gave me the S3 shutdown animation . I think it's kinda cool I've tried it with the bootsamsung.qmg and the bootsamsungloop.qmg in /system/media and it gave me an bootanimation that looked cool but it isn't what it should be maby i missed an extra file ore something
But before you replace the files , first copy them( the original ones ) to an place on your SD card !
Here is the file for the shutdown animation :
http://www.multiupload.nl/UPK51NKWRS
Just place it in the folder /system/media/video and replace it for the old one .
You need to have root acces and use an app to do it like Rootexplorer .
Here is the download link for the Bootanimation , just keep in mind that it DID NOT work on my phone as it should be !
http://www.multiupload.nl/6R2LL0DZ6X
http://www.multiupload.nl/NS83D79HKP
These files need to ben in the folder : /system/media/
And replace it with the old files there .
You need to have root acces and use an app to do it like Rootexplorer .
Have Fun !
*EDIT*
I am using Dutch Ginger Power ROM and Semaphore kernel and for me the correct folders are at the place i discribed , how it works on other kernels /ROM's i do not know ! if the folder/file isn't there , wel .... Sorry can't help you further and sorry for the bad English if someone is annoyed at this , send me money for an English education
*EDIT2*Because some people experianced problems when downloading my uploads , i've uploaded them trough another site called Multiupload , they are up and running again YEAH !

They can but you have to change a few files to make it work. A custom kernel that supports it is recommended. However if ur on a stock kernel,
Go to /system/bin/ and find the file called "samsungani" and delete it. Then find the file called "bootanimation", and rename it to samsungani. Place the downloaded bootanimation.zip in /system/media/

You can use the ICS on JellyBean if you want, but DO NOT use the JellyBean one on ICS.
ICS Blue , optimised for SGS3:
(this gif is shortened and not the full animation)
Ice Cream Sandwich

PowerOn noise
PowerOn.ogg
http://alpha-techs.co.uk/files/matt/bootanimations/RazR_M/PowerOn.ogg
Grab PowerOn.ogg file and copy it to /system/media/audio/ui
Or run this ADB command:
Code:
adb push droidsm.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.ogg
To install
To use these animations.
Go to this thread and use anbech's method. Don't forget to say thanks.
Download one of the files above, unzip it to get a file called "bootanimation.zip".
Put this bootanimation.zip in /data/local/ on your phone using root explorer or ES File Explorer.
OR
ADB the file using this command
Code:
adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local/
To test:
Reboot (lol)
OR
Use this ADB command (boot sound can't be tested this way):
Code:
adb shell bootanimation
(press CTRL+C to stop the animation)
Thanks

yo! can we use rom toolbox lite by jrummy to install this?
Use Anbech's thread to enable bootanimations and you can use root explorer to copy them to the folder

Sent from an Apple devouring JellyBean
IT was made for Sammy ROM's.
If you know where the bootsound is located, let me know and I can update a zip for you.
lol. That's the thing. I don't know where to put a PowerOn.oog. tried system/media/audio/ui and going to try to fix desc.txt to make it play and see if that works but I need to get a minute first.

Mines quite slow, maybe it adjusts itself to your phone's boot animation time
