Anyone know of any app that will sync my chrome bookmarks to an app on my phone? Thanks.
N/M found one. Chrync seems to work and has a fully featured, unlimited free trial.
Thanks for posting this, I was looking for something like this. My bookmarks don't change often but it's nice to be able to sync the bulk of them to the phone.
Here are some...

yahoo directs me to their web based app and i cant find anything else. apparently yahoo is only worried about the iphone and crackberry.
thanks
Are you able to handle GOOGLE?
Here is exactly what you want: http://yahoo-messenger.en.softonic.com/pocketpc
use messenger softwares such as parlingo or Fring. It has all the required messenger services you would require and most of all the softwares are free..

I recommend you go to nimbuzz.com and download their free app. That is the best app I found, after tons of searching. It has practically every popular IM know built in, and also has skype for internet calling. It has a nice interface too since it's fairly new. I think..... You won't be disappointed.
I think also that nimbuzz.com is definitely best solution, works great and supports all popular IMs...
i recommend SLICK or BEEJIVE , they're awesome

I think Palringo is good solution. YM,FB,Google etc... and good looking too
i use fring.
I have Mobile Firefox (FF) installed. The latest version lets you synch FF desktop bookmarks to your FF on your mobile device. This is handy, but I would also LOVE to be able to export those bookmarks over to the stock android browser.
There are several bookmark synching (cloud based) apps out there - Xmarks (pay app), etc. However I don't see anything that specifically allows you to just import a bookmark set into Android. That functionality is also not built into the stock browser.
Surely, by now, there has to be a quick/easy way to import FF/IE/Chrome bookmarks directly to the Android Browser on your mobile device?
Nevermind. I did not read the OP carefully enough.
Edit: I also am looking for a solution to this. Supposedly Gmarks can do this but I could not figure out how.

MyBookmarks app (free in Market) will do this. You export your bookmarks; upload them to their site; import them to your device. Supposedly works on all phones (I have a Toshiba Thrive) and IE, Firefore, Safari, and Chrome.

I appreciate the response, I did a market search but this app must not have been popular enough to come up in the first 10-15 bookmark related apps.
I'll give it a try, there is a Free and Pro version.

Downloaded this mybookmarks app. Uploaded ff bookmarks on the website then imported them with the app. Said it was successful but the android native browser has the same bookmarks as before. Nothing new imported. Strange. Anyone else get this to work with synergy or gb based rom? Not sure why it's not importing them to the browser correctly.

No idea why this app doesn't work for me? Says it imports but my bookmarks are the same.

Same with me.
And I'm getting really upset that I can't transfer my Firefox bookmarks to my HTC. I have allot of them, and use them for work also.
Since I'm going on a business trip, I'll need it all on my DHD.
It's a pain in the ass to create one by one manually.
Has anyone managed to get the stock ICS browser working on 2.3?
tried ICS for a while, and loved the system but had to give it up for the lack of app support so far. Really missing the integrated approach of the browser, and how it synced bookmarks etc.
I know about ChromeMarks but not really the same. Done a search and found some topics of people trying on different devices but wondering if anybody got it on S2?
Failing that, what browser do you recommend as best for syncing between mobile and desktop?
I use Opera on my desktop, and Opera Mobile on my phone, and I use the build on "Opera Link" to sync bookmarks it works well.
But I suppose you use Google Chrome on your desktop so Opera Mobile isn't an option for you.
fair comment as I do use chrome. however may start looking at other options seen as four years in and google still not bothered with this feature.

It adds an entry to the Share menu letting you share with your google talk contacts...
I got tired of cut and pasting links out of my browser, reddit is fun, and the xda app.
It's free / no ads.
Let me know what you think
*I just published version 1.1 which uses oauth instead of user/pass. But it hasn't appeared on the market quite yet. (lags a bit)
that's not something that i personally need, but I will say thanks for making, and giving

What exactly can we share? I installed it and tried to share a picture and the app didnt appear anywhere ... any insights as to how to use it? It seems pretty straight forward but no luck.
Anything text...
gtalk uses a proprietary file transfer protocol So files are out.
Browser links, Apps from Play, Links from reddit apps (bacon reader, reddit is fun), etc

Aww ok, thanks for the quick info.
Dude. This is a great little app. I don't know how many times I'm helping someone fix their phone through Gtalk and need them to go to a thread. So I go to tapatalk share the thread to my messenger then copy and paste the text into Gtalk. This makes that so much easier. It needs access to write to Google talk which I understand. All in all great idea and it works as advertised. Thanks.
No ads, Inc youtube and fast and less battery use... enjoy
Mod Edit
Nice maybe I'll use it a little. But I can't give up on tab groups on Chrome. It makes organizing so efficient. And you can go into developers mode and enable force dark mode which works most of the time on most apps

Only thing stopping me is not being able to sync my bookmarks from Firefox.
I know you can import them, but I'd rather sync them so if I make changes on my desktop it reflects on my phone.
If anyone know a way to sync bookmarks I would probably switch to Samsung browser.

Same issue with Brave
I use both the Samsung Browser and it's beta version to watch vids. In system dark mode it's the best browser for watching vids.
Add a few ad blockers from the Galaxy store and it's good to go.
Pretty much malware bullet proof too, lol I've tested it extensively. Simply close that window and check downloads just to make sure.
