ICS Boot animation - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

I AM NOT RESPONSEBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR PHONE (if that could happen ) LOL
Hello guys,
It's my first started thread here in the Gio section, so feel free to comment if something is missing!
I was looking for a bootanimation that has the ICS look. and I found it, just wanted to share. First I have to say: ALL THE CREDITS ARE GOING TO PAWNBOY! Because he made this for MPDI devices.
See screenshot in attrachment
How to install:
Copy the bootanimation.zip file to your SD card
Open root explorer and copy the bootanimation.zip file to /system/media
(dont forget to mount as r/w in the right top corner
Once done, just reboot and enjoy the bootanimation
Well.. reboot your phone a few times, if you cannot get enough of it

Is this the real ics or cm9 bootanimation?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus

Real ics, it works for me on cm9 (if you would know) and in cm7.2 by phiexz.

This boot animation works on htc hero?

Yes, same screen resolution but i think it should be pushed to system/customize or something like that if it runs sense.

awesome!!

This is awesome man, i love it. I changed the FPS to 35 though, looks pretty cool when it loops quickly .

Open the desc.txt file inside the .zip using a file manager and after the numbers that state screen resolution, there is 2 digit number. It is the FPS that it will be played at. For example:
320 480 30 <----- change that number there.
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1

I've just figured it out by myself, I changed it into 35, then 70, then 10 but nothing happens. Still the same speed

Hmm. Well i am gonna try un zipping it on my computer, manuallyy changing it and then re zipping it. Ill let you know if it works.

I worked I un zipped, changed the speed to 70, and it worked. Almost makes me nauseated just watching it. What speed would you like? I think 40 would be nice.

I'm glad you guys like my bootani first 2 the numbers above are screen size, other is speed after that how he has to play it, don't mess with that

[Update again]Touchwiz with Transparent App Drawer

THIS THREAD WAS PREVIOUSLY IN PORTING STAGE SO DONT MIND THE POST'S BELOW
hello there
I modded a transparent app drawer in our touchwiz.I personally tested it in stock ZCKPA and optimized the transition effects for smoother and faster UI.I've attached zip files for both odexed[stock],deodexed[custom rom].Flash them in recovery.Rom makers can use this as long as they mention my name.+1 if ya like it
Update1:added iphone style transition[odex only] tested and working in ZCKPA...values not yet optimized so you can consider this as a beta...
update2:*made the transitions 1x fast
*changed the folder icon to iphone folder style (see attachment)
+1 and download...i hate it when ppl don't appreciate my work

That depends how much u want like cm is not 480x800 but the above ones are.u also have to decide the frame rate.the resolution u choose get center aligned accordingly

As you might know, the original dell stock logo had low frame rate. So I want to change it. What do I change it to?
Sent from my Blade using XDA app
unzip it then there is a file named desc.txt
Open it in any editor
Then in the first line the first 2 numbers are for screen resolution then is the frame rate change it to the value u like but don't make it very big.
Then compress it with compression type set to store and name it bootanimation.zip

[BOOTANIMATION] Jelly Bean ( 100% working )

Hey guys,
big shouts out for celestio, who got it to work :
Download : Here
For every Rom, like Gingerbread, Froyo, ICS and so one !
Thank him !
Reason
Boot animations are split into two parts coz the first part (part0) plays once and the 2nd part (part1) loops until the device is done booting... so part0 is like an intro to the loop, if that makes sense. That's what I've concluded anyway.

Sometimes, though, the whole animation loops. It is easily configurable if you understand it or use the bootanimation creator.
Right. Bootanimation (hopefully fixed) is attached.
There were no real parts distinguishable in this bootanimation (like in the ICS one), so I just looped the whole animation 5 times. Should be enough for any ROM to boot, otherwise I'll fix it later on. I'm going to a party .
EDIT: Though the resolution isn't that of our screen, it looks quite good. The FPS is too high or something, because there's black flashes every now and then, but it looks OK for now. I'll update it around noon tomorrow I hope (it's 8:34 PM here).
Will it work on samsung galaxy s plus?

Yes, but your ROM needs to support it. I'd wait on the fixed version, though .
i think you should only resize the images
then change the resolution in the desc file:fingers-crossed:
i did this to the cm9 cid animation to add my logo and resize it to my screen

I'm resizing them now, but they have to remain square to make them look good. They're 512x512 now, what would be a good value for the resolution in the desc file? Thinking about resizing to 340x340, then setting resolution in desc to 680x680?

I think the next one you do you should decrease your fps, your file size is very large and dropping the fps to say 20 when rendering will create much less pictures but it will still look just as smooth.

1.Put your phone into usb-debugging.
2.create a new folder in root of C:/ called bootfolder (or whatever you want that you remember and is easy)
3.Go into your Android-SDK folder on the computer -> Platform-tools.
4.Hold down Shift + Right click in platform-tools folder and then choose open command terminal here (dont know if its calld command terminal) but something like that.
5.adb remount and wait for it to say remount succeeded.
6.adb pull /system/media/bootanimation.zip C:/bootfolder/bootanimation.zip
7. There you go now you have your old cm10 bootanimation in C:/bootfolder.
If you want to go back to your old bootanimation we just do the same thing but you copy the cm10 bootanimation from C:/bootfolder
to your android-sdk/platform-tools folder.
2.Shift+rightclick in platform-tools folder and opend command window.
3.adb remount, wait for remount succeeded.
4.adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
5.adb reboot.
And your done! I dont know if this is the easiest way but probably not but its working
How this resolution picture??

Just replace the bootanimation.zip inside Wrixituz's flashable zip file with the one taken from your device (it's in \system\media) and flash this.
Particles looks amazing, but any chance you can loop it? Like have it load up, sit for a second all loaded, then repeat the sequence? The movement is really nice, so keeping it repeating would be really nice, and it can allow us to know if the tablet froze a little easier seeing as it won't loop if it's frozen.
well these boot animations look pretty damn good. Looks like I got some competition.
