Hey everyone! So this is it for me.. My Nexus 7 i sold and i will not continue or support bootanimations for this device! I want to thank everyone for the great respons I've got on all my bootanimations!
It's amazing i got 11413 downloads on all my bootanimations (including the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus Particles port)!!!!

I think the next one you do you should decrease your fps, your file size is very large and dropping the fps to say 20 when rendering will create much less pictures but it will still look just as smooth.

1.Put your phone into usb-debugging.
2.create a new folder in root of C:/ called bootfolder (or whatever you want that you remember and is easy)
3.Go into your Android-SDK folder on the computer -> Platform-tools.
4.Hold down Shift + Right click in platform-tools folder and then choose open command terminal here (dont know if its calld command terminal) but something like that.
5.adb remount and wait for it to say remount succeeded.
6.adb pull /system/media/bootanimation.zip C:/bootfolder/bootanimation.zip
7. There you go now you have your old cm10 bootanimation in C:/bootfolder.
If you want to go back to your old bootanimation we just do the same thing but you copy the cm10 bootanimation from C:/bootfolder
to your android-sdk/platform-tools folder.
2.Shift+rightclick in platform-tools folder and opend command window.
3.adb remount, wait for remount succeeded.
4.adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
5.adb reboot.
And your done! I dont know if this is the easiest way but probably not but its working

Just replace the bootanimation.zip inside Wrixituz's flashable zip file with the one taken from your device (it's in \system\media) and flash this.
Particles looks amazing, but any chance you can loop it? Like have it load up, sit for a second all loaded, then repeat the sequence? The movement is really nice, so keeping it repeating would be really nice, and it can allow us to know if the tablet froze a little easier seeing as it won't loop if it's frozen.
well these boot animations look pretty damn good. Looks like I got some competition.

Hey everybody! I wanted to share with you a little booty I've been working on.
The screen of the nexus really just gets me so excited! But i'm sure all of you know about it Anyway this is a pulse like animation that I created using GIMP. Each file is about 9kb large. If you're a space junky here's your animation!
Sorry for the lack of a .gif image / preivew. Get over it. I'll be updating this boot animation in a little while. But hell, it's a pretty neat as it is now.
Hope you like it. If you have any requests I'll gladly consider them! And don't forget to tell me what you think!
*Remember to delete "Pulse_" in from of the file name.

Looks promising. If it were ICS blue, a tad slower, and started at the bottom of the screen it would be perfect. But I like it so far. Will be keeping an eye on this.

Not sure about flashing. If you use Root Explorer, just paste it in data/local and be sure to rename it to just say "bootanimation.zip".

Also make a copy of the original and name it "bootanimation.bak" in case you decide to revert back to the original.

this bootanimation is awesome! but it would be better if the "pulse" would begin from the bottom of the screen not from half IMHO. anyway is very beautiful!

I want to flash this but I also want to have a way to get the stock one or cm10.1 boot animation back. Could someone explain where I would get those 2 boot animations from? And if I reflash a ROM will it remove this boot animation?

Just open up the CM10.1 .zip, navigate to System>Media>bootanimation.zip and just pull the bootanimation.zip. Yes, if you reflash a ROM it'll reset the boot animation.

I've already sent him a message. He's working on it but it might take a couple of weeks since his motherboard is wrecked and it's gonna take some time for him to get it repaired. HD version for our phone is on the way rest assured!

Can anybody guide on how to make it work? I thought just changing the resolution of the images would work. I let the fps be the same.

It would be more blurry since you're stretching the images. No point! Wait for a new release. It's been worked upon.

Recently I worked on some Boot Animation for Nexus 7. Actually I worked on some Video and converted them to Boot Animation. And you can make it yours if you wish to. Just don't forget the thanks button if you do.
And yes they fits the screen perfectly.
Password hacking
This animation is some sort of hacking password through 3d word matrix and grand the access.

I think the fps of this animation might look a little lower to someone. Let me know if it does I'll work on a heigh fps one.
I was working one a matrix animation but can't manage time right now to complete right now.

Just use the non flushable one with ROM toolbox or replacing the main animation using any root explorer. That should work great.
I don't have a HTC One so Don't wanna take the risk over any others device(for flushable one).

PLEASE MAKE/OR HAVE A BACKUP B4 INSTALLING.
Manul Installation
1) Download zip
2) Use as file explorer that has root permissions like Root Browser or Es File explorer
3) Go to System / Media / Make a Copy of Stock Bootanimation and paste it somewhere safe
4) Copy GEBootanimation.zip and paste it to System / Media... Delete old one and Rename new one to bootanimation.zip and change permissions to RW - R - R

I simply went into recovery and flashed the boot animation from this page: [DOWNLOAD] S4 Google Edition Camera, Boot Animation, and Live Wallpaper
It's easier if you don't want to have to copy files around and if you don't care about backing up the stock boot animation.
Anyway, why'd they go with the old Nexus boot animation for this thing... It's got such a beautiful screen and the boot animation uses like 5% of it. They should have came up with something nice, like the new Moto X boot animation.
Edit: My bad, that's what happens when you don't read... I just saw the "Manual Install" instructions, didn't see that you posted the flashable zip.

Yup it should if u do it manually ...do not use flashable jus use manual installation and u will be fine

Can you make the FULL animation? In the original GE phones, the google logo like fades out, and the colors come from each side of the screen and collide into the boot animation you created now. Why did you cut that extra stuff out? Is there anyway to implement the full animation back?

No reason really....I jus thought it was redundant since our boot logo is the same Google text ... But there are tons of threads with full boot animation... I'll try and post full later thus week if u still need it ...
