You'll need to do a factory reset. That will return the phone to its original MEID and blank the data passwords.

Hello everyone.
I have a Sprint EVO 4G and it has S-OFF so I flashed it to 2.2 and used Rom Manager to put the stock 2.3.3 rooted deodexed onto it then went to Metro PCS and had them flash it over which they did for $10 then the guy could not get into the NAM setting to put my new phone number ect into the phone. He said usualy all they have to do is 000000 to get into the settings he called the metro techs and they said to reflash it which he did anyway by the end of this he asked me if I knew how to get into the settings which is what brings me here. He refunded my activation and kept the $10 for the flash. I kinow if anyoine can help me it's you guys. Thanks
Adam
OH YEA & P.S. to save another thread should anyone have the answer to this and I get this working on Metro (calls and texts only) can you either direct me to a thread to get the internet 3g and MMS working or give me the steps. Thanks again

I had this happen to me the first time I tried to "Metroflash" my Evo. I went to three different stores thinking it was the operator, not knowing that when I flashed and rooted the evo, metro pcs could not set it up on their Houdini system. I went bare bones via hard reset (stock rom) and voila, metro got it on their system.
I followed this guide by Bloodykiller after it was rooted. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182
Again, this is what worked for me. Hope this helps.
Hey guys, I have searched in all of the "Samsung Epic 4G Touch" forums for some help with this for an hour, so forgive me if this is duplicated elsewhere.
I have a friend who gave me his phone since he has too much money. He flashed it to Boost Mobile. The current original ESN is clean and is a Sprint Network ESN.
I have been trying to find a guide to help me restore the original ESN to this phone from Boost, but haven't been able to find it anywhere.
I am familiar with Odin, ADB, and am not afraid of CMD windows, I have the original ESN/MEID and the MSL password. I just want to restore this phone to use it on the Sprint network again.
Obviously, flashing a Stock Sprint ROM or performing a factory reset won't do the trick. (I already flashed a stock Sprint EK02 ROM with Odin and upgraded to EL29. The ESN is still the Boost Mobile ESN and not the one on the back of the box).
Thank you in advance.
Your friendly, neighborhood Lagomorph,

The program you are looking for is called "DFS software", you can google or youtube it to learn how to program the orig esn back on the device for sprint activation
Hey everyone,
So I recently ran into a weird situation with my Rogers Samsung Galaxy S3, I went to the Rogers store to get a LTE sim card. After activating the sim card and putting it into my phone I realized that I was only getting Edge. I'd like to point out that I was getting up to H+ (or 4g) before I purchased this new sim card.
Anyways, I looked into this problem and I determined that I had lost my IMEI. So using QPST and the QCN generator, I was able to get my data connection back. However, I did noticed one slight change. Before, my phone used to show 4g and now it says H+. To my understanding, these two are the same thing. Please correct me if I'm wrong. As for LTE, I believe it shows up as 4g on my phone.
My first question, is there any way to get my phone to show 4g for H+ and LTE for 4g? --> which to my understanding is the normal set up for the GS3.
My other concern is that I would like to know what caused my IMEI to be lost?????? What are some possibilities?
I am rooted and I was using Drew Garen's Jellybean M7 rom. Just before I purchased the new sim card, I flashed back to Rogers stock rom. That is all I did! I've done this many times and I've never had a problem with my IMEI.
Thanks everyone for your time. If you can help out in any way I'd greatly appreciate it.
For all I know, flashing ROMs randomly cause you to lose your imei. No one really knows why (correct me if you can). There's a thread sticky somewhere that links to a tool to restore it.. Best of luck
one way to lose your imei is flashing att modem on Canadian i747m but
flashing back the right modem should give you back your imei if that's was what cause you to lose it.

On stock Rogers gs3 you should see LTE when connected to it. Try doing a factory reset afrer flashing the stock rom.
I had the same experience.I had no clue how it happened cz i didnot flash any custom rom apart from jellybean bell leaked rom(my s3 is Bell).Anyhow you will have to manually restore imei if its not already backed up.There is a tool for it and to get Hsdpa working as well.

Is it possible to restore the imei if you did not back up already?
Yes its possible. You need to reinject your IMEI (found behind your battery). You can do this using QPST and the QCN generator. Theres a list of instructions on this thread

Goodluck
Okay so I have a sph-d710vmu with virgin mobile. I flashed the epic 4g touch Goodness rom and since I have had no service. Also my ESN is not showing in the settings and neither is my phone number. I have tried restoring, new roms, fix permissions, and everything else I have read up on. Everything I try to find on unroot for this phone is for the Sprint Epic 4g Touch, has anyone else ran into this problem, and did I cause it by flashing a sprint rom to a virgin mobile phone?
Um what about this?
yea I tried that one rwilco is my main source for all my tars and zip files, but it still didn't help. I still have no signal, no imei, no phone number under my settings, about phone. but thank you for just trying to help me.

A sph-d710 is the same whether it's sprint, vm, or boost. Flashing a sprint rom will work on vm, you just have to change the mmsc url. Have you tried flashing a jb modem? And all the epic 4g touch unroot stuff you read will work on your phone, because that's what you have. Good luck!

You need to odin an ICS oneclick. Getprop your MSL and then master reset and reprovision. The odin a rooted. JB one click if its JB you're wanting to be on.

I like to break stuff!
My WIFI toggle wasn't working, so rather than troubleshoot the issue, I simply went back to stock, well, in that process my MIN and MDN got reset to Sprint! I was already on Cricket and the ESN is in their network. Any help or suggestions? I can't find a G2 flash guide ANYWHERE, and this was flashed before by a friend.
How did you get it back to Sprint? I'm having the exact opposite problem. I was on cricket and I'm trying to get back to Sprint. They said it couldn't be done.

I accepted an OTA update. If you're already up to date, I dunno. Whoever flashed your phone should have made a backup of all the info, if not, I'm not really sure how else, as I don't believe a TOT restore will restore NAM and all those other settings. My G2 is on the new cricket now, the GSM Cricket, so I just flashed a GSM ROM to it and the SIM card slot works now.
