[Q] Microphone Problems

Hi,
I have a little problem:
I have installed the Android Revolution 2.0.1 HD ROM to my Desire HD and forgot to read that my microphone wont work, if I flash a Buzz kernel.
So I tried to flash it back to the original one, but I have following problem:
I can't find a download for the original one.
I googled for about 1h, before I decided to post here.
But after this hour I decided that I am to stupid too find it.
Anyway, could someone please help me with my problem ?^^ Would be very nice.
Didn't the ROM install the default kernel? If so, I'd just go for a reflash of the ROM, that should bring the default kernel back
Tank you very much. Worked
Glad you got it working

[Q] Going back to stock or Upgrading ROM

so i tried to flash the OMEGA ROM 7.3 but it said NO SPACE AVAILABLE - i deleted some files and it still says the same, i have no idea how to overwrite the current OMEGA ROM so that i can install the new one, i made a backup but even if i did wouldnt it just back up as OMEGA 6??
my question is :
is there a video on how to update a new ROM whilst keeping EVERYTHING the same - people on here "explain" but it never works like they explain.
and
is there a video on how to go back to stock without losing anything (losing root doesn't matter, i'll just root again)
if no please could somebody do some videos i cant find any and most people can't explain very well

[Q] Please help me remove Evervolv! :'(

Hi all!
I have bought a HTC Desire phone over the internet and it seems to work fine but there is a slight problem. I absolutely hate the Evervolv ROM. I am very nooby with the technical terms (meaning I dont even know what flashing means... etc... ) I have spent several hours looking for a way to install a normal android ROM (just the most basic one, so that my home screen looks like the one in the picture of this model - I don't know whether it's gingerbread or jellybean or something else, as I said I don't understand those terms)
So can anyone please help me either to get rid of Evervolv or to install the stock android ROM? :crying:
I would really appreciate your help!
First of all, saying that you hate the Evervolv rom is quite disrespectful to the developers who have spent lots of time trying (and succeeding) to get 4+ roms running on the desire.
So by the sounds of things, what you want is to flash a sense gingerbread rom? First check to see that youve got a custom recovery installed (you probably will). Turn the phone off, then hold volume down + power to get into hboot. Then wait a few seconds and scroll to RECOVERY using the volume rockers and use power to select it.
Let me know what recovery you have.
Hi,
if you want to find factory android images (we call it Stock roms), you can take a look here. They are windows binaries (exe). So you can try this. Or if you want to try some other rom, you can do it wia recovery how Chromium_ said. It's no as hard as it seemes to be .

Did you update your firmware ?
Here is a very easy, if you haven't http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/development/firmware-flashing-panic-attacks-t2824048LINK
i just did a little looking and updated firmware to 2.22.401.5 . This is good now because the phone actually boots into the ROM. But now i notice it doesnt recognize audio when i try to play music that i put on the device, such as mp3, etc.. But system UI sounds, work ok

[Q] Stock android recovery

I was messing around with my phone and wanted a custom rom? I guess and I have twrp and I accidentally deleted my whole operating system on my phone and after hours of trying to get everything back I flashed a """Stock recovery nandroid backup"""" for Telus but its always laggy and whatnot. So I was just wondering if there is an ACTUAL backup of a stock telus operating system that I can recover to my phone instead of using a stock nandroid as a custom rom. Thanks. I've already searched everywhere on this site. I would love a ontario telus with nothing changed to it and if anyone has that where they haven't changed it, could you please upload it and share it with me please. I just want my phone like it came right out of the box. Idk I'm weird and it just feels different like its still missing the original and im just running something like novalauncher or something. Thanks.
I can't direct you to getting the "out of the box" recovery. However, have you tried getting s-off and flashing a few different Roms and playing with them for a few hours (days)? You might really like the streamlined feel of some of them. I'm biased but I can't stand knowing I have all the bloatware.
Could you please run
Code:
fastboot getvar all
And paste the contents here?
