Can you spot the major **** up?
Would it fit into the cradle/dock with the case on anyway?
It's a huge fail but probably have to come off for mounting.
Edit: looking again its not a case.

lol
they didn't cut out the pogo pins connector part properly!
I've emailed let, lets see what they say
This seems to be a common problem. My cheapo tpu case from ebay has the exact same issue, also part of the microphone is covered....
Have got a refund for it.....
Grab a Scalpel and cut out the covered pogo pin lol! Try not to scratch the body!!!
Same problem i have with Skinomi Drytech skin!!! Covers the 5th pin! and if u move it to not cover the pin, it will cover speaker hole...
Anyways i've given up on InvisibleShield ever since the company name had Zagg on it.... Quality just dropped, all my previous device before Nexus One was protected with InvisibleShield.. I prefer BSE, but there is no news of BSE for HOX
Biggest fail I see is the fact it makes the phone look awful. Sorry.

Email their support team, tell them the problem & in a few minutes - they will reply saying it's been fixed & that they are sending you a new one free of charge.

Having similar problems with the skinomi dry skin. I've fit it, nothing lines up both left-to-right and up-down. The 5th dock pin is also completely covered. I'll be sending them an email.
Also wish they'd make one that just covers the back properly and not worry about the front and sides.

I just received an email from skinomi saying their design team corrected the mistake and that they will send me another drytech skin protector free of charge. That is a good customer service !
Zagg's Invisible Shield is the nastiest looking and probably least effective of protecting a phone ever (And it costs a bomb).
It looks as if you sprayed it with some cheap glossy lacquer.
Just out of curiosity, why is every tending towards the DrySkin Skinomi skins over the wet application TechSkins?
Got a reply from Zagg:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting ZAGG, where we are Zealous About Great Gadgets! My name is xxxxx. and I appreciate the opportunity to assist you.
In response to your e-mail, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused. I have submitted a re-fulfillment EUxxxxx. We have not noticed a problem with this product so its possible it could just be this single one that was cut incorrectly. If the new one is also cut incorrectly please send us more pictures of the product.
I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or comments.
Thank you for choosing ZAGG! We appreciate your business.
All the best,

Yep got a reply from Skinomi. Quite prompt too. Will be getting a replacement.
I wish that I had found this thread before purchasing the zagg invisibleshield full body!
I've also got the same problem! Top pin is covered.
First time I've used zagg and it was relatively easy to apply, installing a regular screen protector is trickier! Results looked good expect for the pin being covered on the back!
I've also emailed zagg and in their reply, they've asked me to measure the back shield (kinda hard since its already installed!) and also the dimensions of the phone (Really?!)
Not expecting much but I definitely will think twice before buying their products in the future!
I am still confused that none of you actually noticed articles that say that AT&T One X (Zagg provides Invisible shield only for AT&T model) has pogo pins moved when compared to One X International version most of you have...
That's fail!

Also it is a bit big, doesn't fit on the phone properly

i can;t agree more. i emailed them and this is the response i got:
Hello,
we are sorry, that you are not satisfied with our product.
The ordered type of screen protector has no hard-coated surface. Therefore, it is not scratch-proofed and we cannot accept a claim in this matter.
Alternative we can recommend to you our Vikuiti display protection film ADQC27 for this device. This film is crystal clear, anti-reflective, scratch-proof and extremely easy to apply without bubbles. More information is available at
The price for this film would be 10.95€ for 1 film or 21.90€ for 3 films, including shipping charges. Since your satisfaction is important to us, we will credit the amount of the article ordered first to 100% against a new order of this model as a gesture of goodwill.
Please inform us via e-mail if you would like to accept this offer. You will then receive an order confirmation with all the relevant information for further processing.
Thank you very much.
Best regards

f**k I just bought this one ! Not received yet, but I'm afraid...
Just got one of these. Its awful, doesnt fit the phone well at all. Tried to fit it the best i could but it looked terrible, so i took it off and threw it away.
Received mine. Impossible to fit to the screen : I cut a border, but ASAP I will change it.
I'll send a complain to the "protectionfilms24.com team" ! It's just scandalous.
Their Vikuiti ones (both the ADQC27 & DQC160) that I ordered do not fit perfectly either.
They're just a shade too long and so would have to overlap the bezel slightly.
Expected better from them as have had good luck with their products in the past.
anyone found any good/decent screen protector yet?
+1 Savvies screen protector is just too big. Piece of crap.
I wish ClearProtector would release one. I love their self-healing screen protectors.

They sent me the following below. How do I even go about measuring how off the screen film is? How do I go about measuring the phone screen size? I don't have anything nearly that accurate. Can anyone with the appropriate tools help me out? :-\
How far off is the Savvies? I noticed it hung over the top/bottom (depending on how much i slid it around) by just a little bit, but I have no unit of measurement for that.
Help?

The martin fields will be about the best when they're released, had one on my desire and wifes Nokia and they where really good, lasted a year, easy to fit and really good. Over priced but still the best around.
I ordered a savies in the mean time (I'm pissed off reading the comments). I had the vikuiti and they didn't fit well and bubbled up, I lost my rag and binned them
Can't post the URL as I'm new :-(
From my own experience with screen protectors i noticed that you can align them very easy and no bubbles if you can sprinkle some water on the sp before applying then all you have to do is to clean the water excess and leave it over the night to dry. Using this method i was able to have no bubble and almost perfect alignment even with the cheapest screen protectors.
Hey guys,
Just took delivery of the barely there case by casemate... Fits pretty good!
I just had a question about the included screen protector... Is anyone surprised how wrong they have got the size of the screen protector?
They have got the whole thing wrong... The grooves are cut all wrong, not size is not even close to right!
Either they put in the wrong phones screen protector or someone at manufacturing had a faulty tape measure!
Heres the picture of what i mean! (apologises for the shadows.. but you get the basic idea)

Yeah, looks like it.
This isn't the first person I've seen report getting an incorrect screen protector with their SGS2. I'm expecting one next week so shall see what I get sent.
I am going to try and answer all the questions in one post!
@experia1234 I tried to get a few shot all round to give you a good idea on how it fits. IMHO it doesn't add on much bulk which is good. It feels solidly made and takes away from the plastic feel of the actual cover. I think it feels much more like smooth rubber.
One thing i did notice though, Its very difficult to remove the case if you want to get to the battery... Not saying its a problem, I like that actually..at least i know it wont come off easily if accidentally dropped. It is rather slim and on closer inspection, It looks like its made of hard plastic with a rubber outer coating.
See pictures below! If you need any other views let me know.. ill try to accommodate!
Your screen protector seems to fit perfectly. Where did you purchase yours?
that seller is ****,I v bought screen protector from there。 the title was 'INCISIBLE SCREEN PROTECTOR FOR SUMSUNG I9000 GALAXY S 2' ,the last GALAXY S 2 and showed galaxy s2 pic on it.so that made me believed its galaxy s2 screen protector, but the real is it was S1 screen protector.
then I rated all bad all reviews negative, after that bluejamgem send a email to me requried me to change reviews.but I replied a email to bluejamgem to reject and mentioned i dont care my money ,then bluejamgem send another email in other language .i dont think its good words.sh it Ebay i first using that in the UK,i thingk i need go back Amazon
I bought it from amazon uk.

I did not buy the screen protector separately, its the one that comes packaged with the Case. I was just surprised how wrong they got the size of the screen protector. The case itself fits perfectly.
@bendispo..There is no screen protector on it at the moment. I am waiting for some to be delivered from ebay. I can let you know how they fit and feel.
Not my type of case. Protects the back only. If it were a full case that lipped around the edges which also keeps it safe when you put the phone face down.

i already complained to case mate with an email...
case is as good as always..very slim but does not protect some parts of the phone as well as the tpu cases..
case mate answer my email immidiately..
they told me that this was by mistake and they will produce new screen protectors for galaxy s 2 in 1 or 2 weeks..
they ask for my address and they will post me the correct sreen protector..
Well i got my barely there today without any screen protector. Fairly annoyed and the retailer got quite an angry email too.

I'm French and I bought a case-mate for my I9100 from the same seller. It spent two weeks and I didn't receive it yet. I paid it a Saturday, and the next Monday, I received an e-mail telling me:
"Recent updates of your order information
Your items are marked as delivered.",
I don't think the seller is superman... in one day, he couldn't have packaged it and sent it to my home... So, do you think it's a postal error ?
Thx
I hope it's ok to post this here... but I ordered a white case mate barely there for the Galaxy S II before I realized that the S II was not compatible with t-mobile. I was able to cancel the phone order, but not the case order (go figure).
SO I have a white barely there case mate for sale, it will be new in box, if anyone is interested, I'd sell it at retail price, but free shipping. Just PM me if interested.
Looks nice, im going to buy the same case... but WTF with the screen, IT MUST BE A JOKE!!! how can they do that :S:S:S
Just for information, I received my case (look at my older post) today, so a little more than 3 weeks after purchase...and without screen protector. It seems to be a fake one, the finitions aren't really good (the speaker are cover on the half and the welding line is visible).
Seems like it protects like the original samsung mesh case... so I stay at my mesh case.
I got the white barely there and same problem I got the wrong screen protector as well. Problem is I got from the local retailer and they refuse to change for be.
I notice that the finishing quality has dropped. There are visible welding lines, something I have not seen in my previous dhd barely there

Why bash this company and say SGP was first? This company could have been first they are actually shipping now not just taking pre-orders. I first saw this protector on ebay around the same time the SGP was posted on here so who knows who was first?
I have no affiliation with them I'm just saying there is no point in saying it's not unique when they are the first company SHIPPING one so it actually is unique

Strange, before it said pre-order rather than add to cart
Might have been overwhelmed because of preorders, hence the long expected ship time. Either way I'd love to see a review on the Tridea, but SGP makes some high quality products, especially screen protectors.

I got mine today and they were a little difficult to align properly but not bad. You have to press on the edges several times to get them to stick but if your persistent they will stay down. The clarity is pretty good. When the screen is off there are some weird looking sport that almost look like orange peel but they are smooth and you cannot feel them. When the screen is on you cannot see these spots at all. These are just my first thoughts. I will report back in a few days to see if the edges stay down.
Overall I am pretty happy with the protector. They are much better than the straight ones that don't stick to the edges.
Amazon no longer has this screen protector. I was just about to order it too.

Then SGP failed with first batch of Neo Hybrid.
Goodness, are they testing it out on a customers?

Are these worth it? Seem to be the cheapest screen protectors for the quality?
Today XtremeGuard released a new "HD" screen protector model, now with dry application instead the old wet application
It's a clear model (invisible), ultra anti-scratch, etc. The FAQ says it's not a tempered glass protector, but a "ultra hard PET very similar to glass".

Someone already tried it? It's a good protector?
It's already avaible to nexus 5 here, just U$6,00 + 90% off if buy 2 or more items using coupon "90off" (+ free shipping to USA)

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! :good:
Just placed my order.. $1.20 shipped for 2 great protectors?? It's crazy not to get.
I have the 'old style' of XtremeGuard on my phone right now, and even though its protecting my device REALLY well, I'm starting not to like the thick 'rubbery feel.' I also have a small scratch on the protector that I accidentally made when rubbing out bubbles when I first got it, and my OCD hates it! lmao.. So i didnt want to buy another one, and i didnt wanna spend $15-$40 on a freakin' protector, so im stoked about this!
Thanks again
Order a HD and a Original ^.^

Just ordered a hd for my Nexus 5 and iPhone 5. $1.20 shipped. I'll report back with a mini review when it arrives.

I have had nothing but a great experience with the regular xtremeguard shield, had it on my Nexus 4 too. One thing I did was to use some car wax on it, make it considerably smoother and easier to clean. Just placed an order on the new HD one.
Ordered a red 16gb N5 yesterday, and just saw this thread. Thanks OP. I got a back protector, new HD front protector and install kit for $1.70 shipped. Nice!
Did anyone get their's? Wonder how thick it is, how it feels vs bare glass, and the clarity.
Boo for $6 shipping to get them to Canada.
I got mine already :3

My guess is that these are just the normal plastic screen protectors that were popular before the wet application ones came out. No different than the ones you can buy at T-Mobile or Verizon stores. I use the regular XtremeGuard screen protectors for every device of mine and I love them. They're cheap and I'm good at installing them. No need to spend $30+ at a Ghost Armor or Invisible Shield kiosk in the mall.

Same thing here... Not very happy with the product. I knew it was bad before i even installed it as the side edges weren't even cut straight.
I received mine too and the top/edge is peeling off and there were dust particles. i contacted them and asked for a replacement.
Thought I'd order one of the dry application ones, it's gonna take a MONTH to arrive!!! now, I know I'm in the UK but come on, in this day and age it shouldn't take a month to send something from the US to the UK...
It feels really nice and smooth. But the top cut outs are terrible. Contacted customer service they said they will replace. We'll see if they fixed their first run issues.

I got the hd ones. Didn't even bother installing. They are generic plastic screen protectors. I'll stick with my non hd wet apply for sure

Same thing happened with me. I thought I was just incompetent.
Still don't know why people continue to go with XtremeGuard. The only thing that gets them sales is their big discounts of their "original" price. The quality is pretty horrible. The wet apply ones are very grippy and make your device feel crap.

maybe its a carrier fault, we cant blame the seller. Here on brazil the national carrier is a huge sh*t. The progress between any country to brazil only took 3~5 days. Then the package goes to the national carrier on the "international scan" and stay there for 40 days until anyone found your package lost in a pile of other millions package and send it to your city carrier

I dont bought this HD screen protector, but looking these pictures it feels really crap
I'm using the "standard" (wet) protector and althrough the wet installation and "grip-feeling", I'm already using for 3 months and it stay 100% perfect as the first day I apply it. No dust, no damage, no scratches, no edges taking off. It's not the 'best' protector in the world, but much more resistant than others brands
I'm glad to see I'm not the only person having bad luck with the HD ones. they already shipped me out 2 replacements.

With Poetic, you get what you pay for. They're stuff is decent for the price but it's not great quality. I ordered 3 and sent back 3 Poetic Revolution cases (no, I didn't mind the bulk) but each one had the same manufacturing defect on the inner lip of the front bezel of the built-in screen protector (not to mention that the screen protector was god awful with the rainbow effect and touch issues in a few spots but I could overlook that since I planned on removing it and replacing with a static-cling screen protector.
Yet, I had it with Poetic after the 3rd incident.
I ended up paying more but getting quality when I ordered the Seidio Dilex Active with front cover.
Again, Poetic isn't bad considering what they sell their products at but don't think you're going to get high quality either.
Unfortunately for me, my OCD wouldn't allow me to keep the Poetic case. If it wasn't for the manufacturing defect, I would've kept it as I liked how grippy it felt and while it was bulky, it always felt secure.
I can't seem to find anything inbetween price of poetic and seidico. Poetic seems to be unreliable.

I feel ya. I'm in the same boat. It seems you either buy the Poetic/Moko slim case, or the pricey/bulky Portenzo-like book cases. I thought I found a winner with the Seidio Ledger case that is priced in between these two options, but lack of a magnet or strap to keep it closed is a deal breaker for me. I caved and just bought the Poetic Slimline. I figure when it breaks, I'll just warranty it and get another one.
I had the same problem with the plastic cracking and 2 of the 3 magnets came out. I had to put scotch tape over them to keep them in place. Make sure the magnet polarity is correct, lol. Only paid $6 for it when they first came out so I expected low quality.
case
Have you tried the roo origama case ? Very slim case with different options on how the tablets stands.
I've had my poetic for almost a year now and have had no complaints at all.

Just looked at mine. I have a crack in the same place. Their warranty process seems like a pain in the ass to deal with too. I really really like this case, but I'm not sure if I'd buy another one.
Yep, mine cracked this weekend and the magnet fell out. I superglued it back in but I've still got the crack that protrudes so its totally obvious.
I want the official Google case but can't see spending that much $$.

Mine's done the same. I would like to find a similar case but maybe with more quality. I don't want to add any thickness and auto wake/sleep plus magnetic closure are necessary. Anyone have any Ideas? It's hard to complain about this case since i only paid $6 for it. It's currently $15 on Amazon. I'm hesitant to pay that much for such poor quality.
I have the roocase mentioned above I've only had it a few months but so far so good it was only $10 when I got it.

I contacted poetic through their website about the failed case. They had me email them a copy of my purchase receipt and a pic of the damage. They said it'd take 2-5 days to process. I'll see what happens, but in the mean time I'm keeping on the lookout for another case.
I want the official Google one that has auto wake but it got horrible reviews and it's out of stock.

Here's the response I got from poetic:
Thank you for providing the requisite information for your warranty claim. We will be shipping your replacement case to you via USPS with the tracking number xxxxxx. As an exception, you are not required to return the defective merchandise. Expect the package to arrive within 3-5 business days in the United States, 7-10 business days to Canada, and 12-14 business days to the United Kingdom and beyond. We hope you’ll continue to enjoy using your Poetic case.
Best,
Nancy

I bought one of these cases, and it seems that my battery drains faster. This may require some testing once I get home. Has anyone noticed this too?
I emailed poetic, sent them a pic of the crack, and they're going to ship me a new case.
But black is out of stock until 3/31. Oh well, I can wait.

My poetic wore out. I sewed one of the magnets into my Google case so I now have magnetic screen control. The Google case is excellent quality and I do not foresee it wearing out any time soon. If you get it just transfer over one of your magnets. Screen control is the only feature I wish it had, but that's solved now. ?

Same problem with moko. Amazon refunded. Temporarily fixed with super glue. Using it until it falls apart then I'll order another.

I have the same problem with the first case of my nexus (now is dead because the screen is broken) and Poetic send to me a new one too. Very pleased about their service.
