ioslivetv.net (thx to gadger for the heads up) - HTC One X

Try it on your phone and be amazed (got the tip from gizmodo.com)
When you have selected a channel you must first go to fullscreen mode before playback. Once you are in fullscreen mode hit the playback button and enjoy!
Note:
Seems to be working again under a different url: ioslivetv.net and ioslivetv.net.ru ^^ ty Gadger & ~Immo~ !

It works well on tablet and phone, enjoy it while it lasts though, I can't imagine this site being allowed to stay online for too long with it broadcasting premium channels for free.

If you click on a channel you have to watch will some sort of video screen loads (just like youtube)
But i won't playback on it's own, first you have to click on the fullscreen button (on the far right of the playback button)
When it is on fullscreen, then you can hit playback and enjoy your ride

It does work here in the Netherlands (Europe), but you need to use the stock ICS browser i guess
Furthermore not every channel is working but most do
Edit: streams seem to be offline for the moment

its stating "video is loading" and then snaps back to the website...not working...tried with android browser and dolphin hd

They seem offline for the moment yesterday they were working fine.. Maybe they are tracked down or the server couldn't handle the load at the moment

Quality seem very good (tried National Geographic HD)

edit: chrome isn't working either.. only blackscreen but no playback in chrome

New youtube mobile sans flash

This is interesting
http://www.trustedreviews.com/software/news/2010/07/08/YouTube-Revamps-Mobile-Site-With-HTML5/p1
But every time I go to the address and try to play a video it defaults to the flash app. Anyone know why, how to fix?
No change for me. Still only Flash.

The video opens up in HTCs flash player for me, Not even in the YouTube app, How bizzare

Change the default country in US and language in UK than it will work.

Talk with video?

Hi guys,
Is it possible to flash a version of Talk with video support for the WFS? Or can our little phone not support it?
Even if Talk with video support runs on the WFS it will be of no use........you would need a front camera for video calling and there is not an application that allows you to use the back camera for video chatting(Certainly would want it )
Long story short..........It's no use
Apparently, Yahoo Messenger with Yahoo Video chat plugin works (Uses Mic+Camera from the back) (About 28mb in total Alot of storage memory....) , Skype also works with mic and camera from the back
(Less storage)...

Is the DG H200 HDMI Adapter connectable with other Devices?

Hi Folks,
I´m thinking about getting a DG H200 HD for my HOX. But it would be fine if this can be connected with my Android Tablet as well. Does anybody know this or has some experiences with the DG H200?
I've got the media link hd, the bubble upnp app picks it up as a renderer, so using my 8" tablet I can send all my videos on my media server or tablet to my tv.
In other words the medialink is usable with other phones, tablets etc.
Edit... When it's all on the same network.

Are you able to turn the screen off and still do it?? That's the only thing that bothers me about this adapter...having to keep on screen whilst I stream.

Yes screen can be off, I've noticed it uses very little battery drain, I thinks it's because everything is loaded onto the network, and nothing directly through ur phone / tablet.
I only use the hd media link as advertised when on YouTube, the rest of the time it's used as a renderer using bubble upnp, as it runs a lot smoother.

Okey, i will give it a try. if you can really use this adapter with other Androids it is usefull. What about the Quality?
As for quality I'm not sure, I will check the settings on the upnp app when I'm home tonight and try and play some mkvs etc. Iv watched standard avis and they look fine.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
It shows up as a DNLA device on pretty much every thing that's capable of transmitting via DNLA. Windows Media Center works as does Windows Media Player. My G-Tab 10.1 connects to it but there's some funkiness with video content being streamed I haven't had time to troubleshoot yet. You can also play music to it and it shows album, title, artist and cover art on the output device.
I had a play with it last nite, and found that not all avis work, most do but some don't, this was the same with mkvs.
Iv been told this is because of the limited amount of codec support the media link has. So be warned not every video will work.
These vids that didn't work on my tablet, I was still able to play using my one x and then connecting the to the media link as advertised, but this is because it is then playing through mxplayer and just being mirrored to my tv.

Got it installed, works well.
Mapped touch inputs into sixaxis - well happy. And it's free!
installed it and run without problems
I've noticed some GFX issues with black squares instead of smoke coming from the enemy ships. Anyone else noticed this?
Also, as the market blurb states only part of this game is free. To unlock the whole game is an IAP of £6.50
Still, pwns don't it!! ;P

Supertube and pvstar are not working do they work for you?

Hello. I recently purchased my note 3 coming from a HTC sensation one thing I noticed it that one of my favorite apps supertube would no longer work with my new note 3. When I play a video in it and press the home button the video should keep playing in the background but it isint.
So I then tried pvstar and the same issue happened when I leave the app the audio stops even tho its supposed to keep playing. I have used these apps for a while with my sensation so is it that they just don't work with the note 3?
Would you mind testing them out on your phone and see if they will still play?
Thanks

I have same issue on my s3.
On my old Galaxy Trend supertube was working fine but now i face same issue as you i hope someone knows a fix.
One easy solution is multiwindow. Then make the YouTube window really small.
i already found the solution:
use viral its much better and does the same thing.

Was just about to reccomend viral. Since supertube was taken down from the playstore and viral works perfectly with the Note 3.
