Hi Rio
First of all, thanks for your great job.. and because I still cannot post at development section, so I create this topic.
I just want share my experience after use it for couple hours.
1. I tried for HD games, and it work smoothly.. nice job dude.
2. Nice appearance.
3. But I got big problem, i always find it become very lagging if I run for the first time (sometimes it will be force close) but after reboot, this issue will be gone. Am I the only one who got this issue?
I will use for more days, and I will comeback with some feedback.
Thanks anyway man..

Hello dude.
I'm also facing this problem. what i'm doing is kill all running program with Advance Task Killer or Advanced Task Manager or use the built in task manager. Mostly its work before play the game.
Maybe lag caused by full memory.
CMIMW.
I'm also facing this problem too, and the ways I found to solve it were the same of climbatiz3. I try to free memory using the built-in Task killer application. If it still lagging, reboot. Sometimes happens to freeze my touchscreen too. In that case I just force reboot.
Same problem with me...huft..
Mana nih om rio? Kasi solusi dong...

Try these :
1. Do not restore any apps using TB.
2. In CWM do a Fix Permission.
If you need to restore it back....wipe all system..cache..data folder except ur ext. SD card where you keep this ROM.
Don't forget to do the usual wipe......format cache etc n delvik....
Let us know.....

or maybe can try this method also.
1)restore using TB
2)un-supercharge by delete the script in \etc\initd\
3)flash adrenaline v3.0(not 3.1 , but if u have reboot loop,then flash v3.1)
then try again. cause i'm facing same problem with my w(bionic cow2). now it running very very smooth.
try and let the forum know.

I did all the format and wipe .... but still getting some FC after installed some new apps ....... now back to 1st Gen. again
There are lags everytime I try multitask with my music running. The delayed music was exttreeemeeeelylyyyyyy annoyyyyying
Considering to return to gen 1
I flash the blacknote 2nd Gen, no problem encounter.
perharps is because I re-supercharge it?
cause default SUPER UL 125mb free ram is too high, many apps cannot run at background. So you might face some apps always slow to active might due to killed by the LMK so they didn't run at background.
So I re-supercharge into multitasking 75mb free ram, and games and apps run smooth, and multitasking also better off. Everything goes smooth and can't wait for 3rd gen with latest kernel??
(better than sammy default 50mb?? haha)

My phone used to be fine a week ago.I've replaced twlauncher with Go launcher ex last week.I've been swapping launchers for a long time. But now my phone is misbehaving.App drawer lags sometime. And it freezes every now and then. After that I have two wait sometime for the phone to come to life.Deleting shortcuts takes time. And when i reboot my phone the phone takes ages to load after swiping the lock screen. When i try to delete some items from sdcard,it freezes and media scanner get's stuck at 100percentage.Notification bar also gets stuck and sometimes goes back itself. The powerbutton sometimes fails too.Any one has any idea?
I'm rooted
stock rom,a2sd,terma's kernel,
running v6 supercharger,[email protected] battery tweak, and kickass kerneliser
a2sd can be the problem try to put all your apps on internal and then see if it make less lag or not
flash new firmware and then use ya sgy without tweaks like v6........
Hates to do that.Done that several times before.May be i should delete the scripts.

So youre currently using go launcher?
Kindly check task manager and see ram usage. If you have a full set of Go apps, that might be the problem... I tried before having all go apps with different themes. My phone lagged like hell and all those apps were ram whores. Try a different launcher... Oh, and for best performance, stick to stock apps, that is the best and fastest... (But if you really want a good launcher, try 360 launcher... Its almost exactly like GoLauncher, but more lightweight.)
I've had this problem before, many a time.
I find that if I clear my text and call logs, things will often get back to normal!

Seeing as you're new here, i though i'd be nice to you this first time.
Please, no swearing.
The people who posted in the thread are making fun of you because of the absolutely unneeded swearing and nonsense.
To fix your problem you're going to have to tell us some more about your phone and what you've done.
Is it rooted? If so, what rom and kernel are you running?
Did you try to simply reboot the phone? (Also a good idea to cold boot it, meaning to shut it off, remove the battery, put it back in and boot up).
It's doesn't help what so ever to force close apps that are not misbehaving. The Android system manages this perfectly fine. Only force close an app if there is something wrong with it.
What apps have you installed? Some of them might be taking up alot of RAM and running in the background.
I was nice to you, now please do the same to us.
You came to us asking a question like that, you should be gracious that we're even replying.

Sure.
My Samsung Galaxy note 2 is not rooted.
I restart my phone couple of times if the number exceeded.
I have 39 apps downloaded from Google Play.
I was angry because it annoys crap out of me so pardon me.

Okay.
If your phone is running slowly and you're not rooted, then it is 99% sure an app problem.
It could be a hardware flaw in your phone, but my guess is app related (If your phone was as slow as it is now, when you got it, it is probably hardware related).
Try uninstalling any unneeded apps, like various tools you downloaded once to try it out, games you dont really play, etc etc.
Try to clear your cache. There are several apps out there that can do it (Some require root, and can clear more caches than non-root ones can, just try a non-root cache cleaner).
After doing that, do a cold boot as i refered to in my last post and see if it is better.
If not, try and go into Settings, Applications, Running Applications and see if there are any major apps that you installed yourself (not the ones that came with the phone) running and try to uninstall the ones taking up the most power, then do a cold boot again and see if it improved.
If nothing works, try and post a list of the apps you have installed on your phone that you installed yourself.

I don't think its hardware related. When I got first my Note 2 it was suprisingly fast. So it's probably the apps.
I've cleared all my caches, deleted a lot of unneeded apps and also done the cold boot after that I navigated to Settings>Applications manager> running apps.
I noticed samsung's keyboard took 55mb of ram, google service 20mb. maps 32mb. play store 10mb. settings 39mb 0_0. Those apps that came with the phone took a lot of ram. why is that? is there anyway to decrease the number?
You can use Titanium Backup to freeze or unintstall any apps that aren't needed by the OS. This will prevent them from ever starting up again.
Is the used up ram actually causing you problems? As I understand it android will make use of the ram to help switch apps quicker. So if its high its not a problem.

there are apps out there that tells you which apps uses the most cpu cycles. i can't recommend one as i don't use them, but might help you pinpoint your problem-app.

Go to developer option
Select limit background processes and then select 4 processes...

Hello everyone,
At first I thought it was a bug from the official jb update, but after some search here it seems that most people dont have these problems so maybe it is fixable
1. I use swiftkey and I have to set it as default keyboard everytime I reboot
2. Admin privileges to kaspersky anti-theft app is also not being saved after reboot, have to give permission everysingle time
3. Some light 2D games (Stick Tennis is the one I tried) lags a lot because apparently they are not heavey enough to make the system switch to hardware GPU for render, if in developer options I check the box that says "Disable HW overlay" the game runs smoothly but the xperia home launcher and internet browsing doesnt.
If anyone has any info about these, please share.
Thank you
Hi.
Same problem on my XS. with swiftkey!
Just tested some 4.2.2 ROMs, some of 4.1.2 and stock JB (rooted and unrooted)... always the same problem...
After reboot the keyboard (and also lightflow) is reset...
I think one of the backup-apps caused that. I had used titanum, helium, mybackup root, the stock backup and restore... and restore from google... at diffrent times - always the same. On the realy fresh rom everythink is okay, after some updates and a few reboots its going bad.
But I cant solve it - anyone can help us?
A solution which does not solve it, but i get the right keyboard... if you have a rooted device just unistall the other keyboards and you get swiftkey for default.
Thx,
bluebat
Known bug. Backup those apps with titanium backup, uninstall them and then restore with titanium. You need root to do so

Well, I have/had these problems too. I use Swype keyboard and there were times when I had to set it as a default keyboard again because it switched to the original one. But this happened rarely. I also have Kaspersky, I also had some issues at first, when I installed it, I had to give it administrative permissions several times. But now these bugs seem fixed, I have not encountered any of them for a while and I still am on the .200 ROM.
If you want the graphics to be rendered by the GPU, go to Developer options and check "Force GPU rendering". It will also make use of the GPU while drawing menus, so you might see an overall improvement.
Hi. My phone (on Stock unrooted 4.1.2, didn't upgrade to 4.2.2 for no reason) has recently become very, very slow. I guess the reason for that is that I recently copied an MKV movie to it. Ever since I did that, it has been dead slow. Even though I have deleted it now, the sluggishness still persists. There's nothing else that I did (ever since this problem started), and please note, my phone was blazing fast before this, so I don't expect suggestions to flash a new ROM or kernel (because I'm a noob when it comes to flashing ROMs and stuff, and I will have so many more problems doing so). I think my phone can go back to the state on stock ROM and kernel.
Another thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1988233) mentions the same problem, I've found out that I have the exact same problem. My phone wasn't sluggish before I copied the movie. But now that I have removed it, the phone is stil slow and sluggish*
* what does it mean when i say "slow and sluggish":
- pressing the lock button doesn't turn the screen on, i have to do it a couple of times
- apps take longer to load
- widgets don't load (most of them)
- everything that you can imagine (swiping, sliding, etc) is slow.
Help, please. Thanks in advance.
Clear the cache of the video player application that you tried to play the video with. That may help. Go into settings>apps>downloaded>your video app>clear cache.
If it's the Gallery, go into all applications instead of downloaded.
Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
It may be caused by installing too many RAM-hogging apps, if you're rooted you can try using Greenify from the play store and see if that helps.

I didn't copy the movie for playing, I copied it to transfer it somewhere else. And I've cleared cache of the video player MX Player just to be sure, and uninstalled it. Still no use.
One more thing. Apps are not responding, even stock apps. Once I open an app, it takes forever to load, and the message pops up: "<app> is not responding, would you like to stop it?" with the options "wait, stop, report".
All this has started ever since I copied that movie to my phone. Before that, it was blazing fast, no RAM hogging apps or anything.
How about you try to save all your pics/files you have on your phone, and do a factory reset? I know that's the highest you will go, but still worth a shot!

Hi
I face a heavy lag while google market update my apps, dose any one have the same issue ??
is there any solution for it??
If I unlock my phone and instal custom ROM the lag will be disappear?
Thanks.
It's normal I think. My phone lags also when installing a downloaded app especially heavier apps. Of course this lag is minor and doesn't keep me from doing what I have in hand.

Not normal to have lag on this phone. I get lag on my 5yo tablet. Restart phone (sorry have to suggest that lately). Maybe try an app like ccleaner to clean up. Clear cache from playstore app. Lastly do factory reset and see if that fixes it. If factory reset fixes it, try to notice when issue begins again.
Do you have adoptable storage enabled?
I have a stock HTC 10 and don't experience this. If you have adoptable storage and a slow microSD card it's probably the culprit.
