[Q] Factory Reset on my One X - HTC One X

Hi,
This is no doubt a noob question but if I do a factory reset on my One X will it delete all of the data from my internal SDCARD partition? It doesn't on external SD but not sure if internal acts differently.
Thanks
Danny

No won't erase data on sd card there is a separate option to do that.

[Q] Reorganize space - any way?

So we have:

If I hit the 2.21 GB for apps - am I able to tell them to install to the 9.93GB Partition?

You can move your app to ad card if your phone storage is full. And are you on dual core HOX ?

No sd card in the One X on the US version. Dual core, yes.

The phone storage is called as sd storage. You can move that using move2sd app or another.

the internal storage for app installation is quite big in our device, if you are pertaining to the [HTC Storage] partition as a depository for your personal files, i'd suggest getting a good external sd card as partitioning the internal sd card might be risky.
I have a 16gb external card

You probably can't. On windows there is a program called recuva. You can try bit but since it was a partition formatting i doubt you will get anywhere... Sorry pal

If you have a way of mounting it to your computer you can probably recover most data. Some may be corrupted or there may be issues where you've already overwritten it so it won't be 100%.
But this app is the one I use for all my data recovery at work: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

SD-Card file structure issue

Hi,
unfortunately my SD-Card file structure is "broken" because my HOX had crashed. I want to format my SD-Card but the problem is that I don't have access to a computer for the next days. I tried to unmount my SD-Card with umount /mnt/sdcard (to format it) , but it didn't worked. Can you help me?
Thank you very much...
P. S.: I use a Custom Rom based on Android 4.2.2 (without Sense)

Sry, I forgot to mention that I already had tried to format the SD-Card with CWM, but all files are still existing and that the error message that I got when I tried the umount command was "failed: Device or resource busy"
