I'm on the nightly from '4/10/2012' and I have no problems with it. Using Incredikernel (thanks chad & tiny) from 3/21/12 on smartassv2 with 883 max and 245min.
Thanks for the info about the new nightly.

My wife and I both are on this build! Using incredikernel with fast charge and all.
hey, very cool, i am excited that there is still a strong user base and I am probably going to flash this tonight!
is this the proper directions?
(i'm also flashing the mod that gets rid of the "low Storage warning)
"this is what you will need to do to keep it working with your nightlys:
- wipe cache
- wipe dalvik
- flash wipe_dalvik.zip <-located in the op
- flash CM7 nightly zip
- flash Incredikernel 10/08 kernel (whose script also wipes cache & Dalvik)
- flash my alternate boot animation
- flash the Roboto font
- flash Convert2Ext4_no_data_limit_dalvik_moved.zip <-located in the op
- fix permissions"

That method you're using is absolutely correct! Not trying to offend, but why are you using such an old incredikernel?

oh, no, it was just the directions i copied and pasted from the forum site. i'll be using...
2.6.38.8 incredikernel 11/27/2011 (4588)
the newest should be the "best," right?

Well it is for me because I really engoy the lazy governor in the 3/21 release. But I mean it really is all up to the user.

thanks. and i forgot to ask, when it says "wipe cache," i do that in rom manager?
what does the lazy governor do? is that like when the person you voted for doesn't do anything? haha. jk.
3/21 release? it says ICS, i can still use the same kernel for a gingerbread rom?

Yes you sure can use it for GB, and lazy is just a really good mix of different governers. Thus release also has lagfree, which the name pretty much says it all. I hope I've helped! And also I usually do all my wiping in recovery, it tends to work for installs for me better than ROM Manager.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA
oh, you mean to start offf the process, you have to wipe the cache in clockworkmod recovery? and somewhere i have to do Gapps, too, right? where in the process would i do that?
i'm hearing great things about cm7, i'm very excited. faster and w/ incredikernel, it's even better battery life, right?
hey, thanks for the advice.
i have cm7 now, the 4/21 nightly with the 3/21 incredikernel!
i can't believe how fast my phone is running now. it used to take forever for me to flip pages on my homescreen w/ multi-live wallpaper. now it's seamless and quick! i hope cm7 doesn't act up. and i will also check out the updates page! is there some sort of notification?
anyways, thanks!

do you guys ever miss sense? i forget how integrated it was into my phone. i just need one or 2 apps, like Footprints, Clock, etc. I can't find the Footprints.apk and try and install it, right?

How do you flash a kernel to a ROM that already has one. I am using ASC ICS v5.5 and i wanted to try the new samuri kernel and the new nubecode kernel to try to get some better battery life.
Now for the easy question what happened to the ASC ICS thread. I saw that the last version was v5.5 and was wondering if there was any other updates.
Thanks for the answer

OK, to answer your first question, DL the kernel, transfer to SD card, Boot into CWM/ACS recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, install from SD card, select Samurai zip file, then reboot and you are good to go. If you run into issues, you may have to wipe data as well, but generally speaking you dont need to wipe data for a kernel flash.
Second question. Last I looked, the 5.5 thread had been locked, but it is still out there, found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340055 . Marcusant has left ACS and created his own ROM, called Marcusant Revival V1 found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1375345 . He states this is basically the ACS 5.5, themed Red.
Cool. Thanks for the answer. I will have to keep an eye on the ROM. It works amazingly and with the shake & bake theme. My epic looks great.

Look didn't change.
All changes are in tweaks.
1. Added VM managment.
2. Internet speed
3. Battery tweaks in buid.prop and in init.d
4. Undervolt -50 mv (thanks to Calkulin and his script)
5. Kernel tweaks in init.d (hope it works as planned).
6. Low memory.
Rom:
I present tFD05 rom.
1. Touch of ICS theme by Tiffany84
2. Added AOSP gallery for nice widget
3. Changed settings background to GNex scaled grey (thanks Ben's for help and research)
4. Removed boot sound
5. Added enhanced Camera.apk (thanks to Calkulin, KCRic and little bit to me)
6. Removed stock boot animation
7. International SGS II Boot animation.
8. Added app to switch between MTP and USB storage.
9. CRT animation zip file will be uploaded later. Just check Misc. Stuff in my signature.
If you need tether you should fall back to wifi tether for root users for now.
Installation instructions:
1. Download rom zip file.
2. Download modem zip file (optional)
3. Copy files to root of your sd card
4. Boot into recovery.
5. Do a NAND back up (optional but strongly recomended).
6. If you still running any GB build flash/apply Calkulin's format all zip. This step can be skipped if you running ICS builds. I have tried flashing this rom over FD02 ICS rom and had no problems. Also I have flashed rom after using Calk's format all script. No problems either.

I don't remember if I checked it on FD02 but sprint TV is working fine in this build. Did ran few speed tests and I think the modem is bit faster as well.
Didn't have much time to check the new build thru so can't much more to this.
Hope in couple of days we will know more.
Nice job getting this out after your b-day weekend, agat; sounds like it was a big/good celebration.
I'm thinking I'm going to sit tight on tFD02 0.1.1 for the moment... it's just running so well; the only significant issue I have is the notification bug -- like Calk says I may sit tight until that gets fixed, or until I hear something else significant is improved in FD05.
Then again, I'll probably get the itch to flash again if/when you put out a tFD05 0.1.1 with tweaks etc.

Yesterday after uploading this build I went ahead and tried deodexing the rom.
I was able to do it for about 90% of it. Few apps giving me problems.
Tonight I'll try to finish it and will go back to my attempts to repack the kernel and add CWM recovery to it.
Anyhow, I hope in couple of days to have a tweaked version out. So far this rom runns little bit faster for me. Did few quadrant tests and got very high 3000's and low 4000's in score. Linpack is slightly higher as well.
May be it's because of odexed version since I always use deodexed versions I can't say with certainty why I'm getting higher scores on this one.
Because of build or because of it's being odexed.

I did calk full wipe then de-odexed rom and then modern then reboot to system.
It was late at night and my clock (my phone) wasn't available for use to time it. But I would say about 3-4 minutes initial boot. But I was laying in bed sleepy so could be wrong. Could be shorter.

I'm with you! Last night, I wiped all - it's been a several months did that - to make more accurate test. Battery life is the biggest concern and I'm happy with that Agat is showing many process on his tweak and init.d script. Keep going!
I noticed its been a while since MIUI has been updated and decided to take a stab at it
This uses the MIUI.us version on their site that has been updated to be more current.
The CM9 7/3/ nightly is currently used. I plan on hopefully keeping up and updating as CM9 gets updated. This also uses Eugene's kernel and has superuser added in.
External Card is detected in filemanager
Issues
External SD Card isnt mounted when you usb mounting (seems to be common among MIUIv4 builds)
Contacts bug (use other program. I used super backup)
NO WIFI CALLING
Download Link
7/3/12 Version
http://d-h.st/unX
Installation (Same as CM9)
Back up your current ROM.
Install ICS Radio if you havent
Wipe data/factory reset.
Format /system (mounts and storage->format /system).
Install the CM9 zip from SD card.
ONLY IF YOU ARE ON NON-TOUCH CWM RECOVERY:
Install darkside-wipe-cache-only.zip (which fixes bootloop due to bad /cache format)
ONLY IF YOU ARE ON TOUCH CWM RECOVERY:
Format /cache (mounts and storage->format /cache)
Reboot. Let it sit for a few minutes after the first boot.

Hey all, sorry I couldn't post a reply in the original dev forum because I'm too new. Just had a question for the folks using
[ROM] AOKP(Jellybean) Task & Ktoonsez (9/14) and Ktoonz 9.14 kernel.
I can't seem to find "ktweaker" anywhere. Wanted to play with some voltage settings. Closest thing I can find is under ROM Control, under the performance menu I have CPU SETTINGS, which i cant go over 1512 or under 384, and a tab for voltage settings but that tab tells me that my kernel doesn't support voltage control.
Any help would be appreciated
I've attached a screenshot of my kernel for reference.
Thanks!
Based on that screenshot, you're on the kernel that comes with AOKP, not ktoonsez's kernel. You'll find that here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756776
Once you get that flashed, Ktweaker should appear in the app drawer.

That's odd because I downloaded and flashed from that page. I downloaded the AOKP Jellybean Build 9.14.2012. Is there something I could be doing wrong with flashing the kernel? I booted into recovery, ran the .zip files, wiped caches, fixed permissions and rebooted.

I think all KT kernels now have KTweaker. It's an app in your app drawer, select it then check allow over clocking at the top. Should be good to go.
Think I figured it out, originally I had installed the kernel before booting into the freshly installed rom. I just rebooted into recovery and installed the kernel again. Now my phone is running extremely slow for some reason, gonna try a reboot and report back.
Wow, things are real screwed up now, phone running extremely slow, I see Ktweaker but it force closes, can't connect o mobile network /sigh
