[Q] FlashLED lights when start

hi everyone!
I've got a weird problem with my DHD and with any kind of ROM and Recovery:
When i start my phone, the flash LED lights during like 2 or 3 seconds, and that, every time i'm started my DHD, or plug it when it's off...
Any idea?

Its not a issue or Problem Its normal ^^

Do you mean the LED light on the back or?

Lol, then its normal. Nothing to worry about but if it is the one on the back, then you've got an issue

Yeah probably, could you take a short videoclip of it while you turn it on?

You could try to Start your phone in save mode if some app is the cause of the issue

How can i do that, and i don't thing it's a app, because, even if i wanna start onto the bootloader, it makes the same...

Don`t you have any other camera or phone that you can record with? But yeah, since you have this problem with any ROMs then the only thing I can tell is that it`s a hardware problem. So if you still have warranty you better unroot, S-ON, go back to stock ROM and all that and get it repaired.

Endymion control apps says to use the theme mods I need to have previously installed add-ons.. are these already installed in the Rom?

Yea I agree but I was addicted to ics but it wasn't Sense. I know we have great icsSense roms but I wanted to have complete again. We have our fair share of runnymeade roms but this one feels good on the phone. Haven't really tested battery because you can't get great results overnight. Gotta let it settle.

We have already seen many S-Off One X devices, its going from S-On to S-Off that is the current task.

So bought was probably accidentally or error by htc

but it maybe could help with the getting s-off for the rest of us
i think you must contact xda member xmoo with youre info maybe you can help in getting s-off for all of us

I thought that was the sticker/screenprotector that comes on a new htc one x, did with my two anyways...Just showing it's a new phone I guess? Or maybe it isn't a sticker but sure looks like it

Guys please don't kill me for this question but what is the main difference between s on and s off? Is it the fact that you have to fastboot the kernel? Also, does Flash Image GUI app work with One X? I just got mine yesterday. On my other phones that Flash Image GUI works on, it takes maybe 10 seconds to flash a recovery or kernel img

When s-off u have to fastboot flash the kernel(any kernel) and recovery..
That's the difference in s-on and s-off..
Also remember to fastboot erase cache after flashing anything from fastboot otherwise u won't be able to get into recovery..

Main difference probably that you cant flash kernel from recovery, only fastboot. No need to use any app, it takes like 10seconds to type 1line in cmd

Yeah and that app I mentioned works on about 6 HTCs but not this one. Good point. Doesn't hurt to learn fastboot

one day (maybe when its not the flagship anymore, and it means less to htc) somebody will leak the files etc to s-off it. its gotta happen some day hopefully

HTC eventually will do this or leak some method to soff after most of its devices are out of warranty period, I hope...
But, by that time most of those who need soff now would have switched/upgraded

why hasnt this info been shared on xda? thought that was the whole point of xda

Overclocking issues

Can someone explain to me why every time I overclock my phone on any Rom the screen starts to split and lag? How can I fix this? I would really like to fix this in my next Rom if I can

The lock screen lag is because the phone finds it hard to sswitch from deepsleep to aa.minimum frequency where it could perform the function.
The trick is to set the minimum.frequency to 245mhz (recommended) and find a governer which suits u.

yeah sometimes i feel it.its very normal like when you start data or wifi or installing app or something like that and that time if you open app drawer you feel lag.
i dont find any solution for that but yeah my country i meaning asia_india stock rom,deodex version works well other than.
and also im on cm9.1 now.which has not a single lag without overclocking.
there are alot of causes like wrong scheduler governer(you have to check that setting self that which is best for you) also some viruses if you download movies and songs from internet much(i hv seen some has problems like that) also sd-ext tweaks(because we have limited memory still we uses more app via that hack so)
lots of reason.
solution find good stock rom.deodexed version is better.

Then ur OC KERNEL has problems.lol.try another one..sense has around many kernels so try them

Htc one x extremely slow

i dont know why but from the past week my htc one x became extremely slow and stutter on every app only have 3 pages of downloaded apps. trust me it was blazing fast before

Take a backup of your apps using Carbon (Playstore) it should work on non-rooted phones, and then factory reset your phone from bootloader...

photos and music are stored in sdcard, which isn't wiped. therefore you won't lose them

Before you do ANYTHING try to update to newest playstore (its 4.10 i think, go google)
I had some slowdowns also because there was this GPS/Maps/Hangouts bug which came when Hangouts came.
It was giving some Maps/gps errors and crashes and seemed to get phone jerky at times.
Since i updated playstore i have no more errors and everything is back to normal

I'm having a pretty similar problem. My HOX gets extremly slow whenever I do more than one thing on the phone, like for example listening to music and writing messages on Whatsapp. A normal reboot doesn't really help, the only thing that helps for about a day is cleaning the cache, but i don't want to do that everyday. Is there any known problem that causes such performance problems?
Sometimes my HD2 running Android 4.2.2 is even faster in everyday ussage than my HOX. lol

A factory reset is required, it will help trust me

Try going to stock 4.2.2 it is definitely faster than stock 4.1.1, try it
