FX File Explorer - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Someone showed me this file explorer today and I am impressed. It is only a beta and will become a paid app once it is out of beta. I think my favorite part is the excellent dropbox and box.net integration. I can browse both services like they are just file systems on the device.
edit: beta root access

Watch Anime on Evo.

My brother has the same phone and he's into anime. On the iPhone there was an app called Crunchyroll. Any other apps in the marketplace or unofficial for this. He doesn't want to make a username for XDA even though I tried to convince him.
I don't believe that android has a dedicated app like the Iphone/Ipad does but after installing the flash_for_21.apk on to your Evo you can watch flash content from any anime streaming site with decent framerate.
That flash apk won't install on my phone. I tried downloading it through Skyfire and it doesn't download it just says done but the progress bar didn't move.
did you try another browser or just simply sideloading it like normal, instal via astro or es file managers.
I figured it out. I had to delete the Swype apk from the downloads folder and then re-download it. I don't know why it wouldn't just download I guess Swype APK was preventing it. I got it installed so that's good.

Skydrive mapped to windows explorer

I found this little walkthrough that will show you how to map your skydrive to your Windows Explorer which will allow you to in essence use the skydrive as a dropbox. Thought some of you might appreciate this.
I already tried this. Works absolutely fine for document folders. For some reasons folders containing pictures won't show up though.

About file manager

Hi there,
In your opinion, what's the best file manager app? I've installed ESFileManager and I like it especially for the possibility to map remote folders via Samba (...well, something there are some problems...).
Have you some alternatives?
Bye, J.
i use root explorer... great app... has built in text editor, easy to navigate... and a bit less poncy than ES file explorer lol
However admittedly... the ability to use FTP on ES is quite good... depends what you want to us it for i guess..
Astro is also quite nice. However I hate the new 3.x versions so still using version 2.x.
ES File Explorer works for me, love the Samba and Dropbox implementations.

Yep, I totally agree.
I've got only few problems with samba shared folders (under Windows), but Dropbox come to help!
I've also took a look on Root Explorer and Astro FM... but i still prefer ES. Maybe "first love is hard to forget"
Thanks for opinions!

How to delete all photos on Amazon Fire Phone?

I have several hundred pix on my Fire Phone and can't figure out how to delete them all at once - only one-by-one. Does anyone here know how? I can't find anything elsewhere on the net.
I don't remember FireOS, but did you try long-pressing a picture to be able to select more than one?
Use a file manager such as root explorer, or connect to a pc and do it that way?
Thanks. I did try the long press on a picture. It just pops up a "Share / Delete" choice for that one picture.
Deleting the pix via a PC connection is my last resort, as I'm afraid it might trash some internal phone database and leave me with a problem much worse than what I have now.
It's hard to believe that a modern phone that can hold hundreds of pictures wouldn't have some kind of "batch select" or multi-delete... so I'm hoping there's a smooth way.
If you've got play store use quickpic which allows batch select.
On a quasy-related thought--amazon is really bad at this it seems. I think the unlimited cloud photo storage is very generous but no one took the time to polish it a little. Can't seem to organize my pics so got pics of my kids running side by side with random podcast cover art and other things I don't want saved. It all displays on my fire TV screensaver. My wife thinks I'm an idiot just taking pictures of everything and saving them. But the op is right, you have to delete one by one.
Not necessarily. Like @ratbags said, you can install a file manager app (ES Explorer, Root Explorer, or the like), go to the DCIM folder and delete whatever you want to. Also, having a file manager app could help you when you're trying to not connect your phone to a PC as much as possible.
Thanks to all for the answers. I will probably get a file mgr though I need one only for this task. Silly Amazon to provide no simple way to delete pictures.
On the topic of what to delete: the images are in DCIM as noted, and there are thumbnails. I'll try deleting only the images and see if the phone takes care of the thumbs.
Install a file manager app, like ES file explorer, and turn off automatic uploading of pictures and videos if you do anything unwholsome in your life. Linux tricks work in android based operating systems too. I use ES file explorer and put a .nomedia file in Downloads and there is a Facebook folder under DCIM that you should do the same to. Now when you are out with that co-worker or whore, and get frisky with the camera, they won't automatically show up on your Amazon Fire TV in real time. Move what you don't want uploaded into a folder with a .nomedia file before saving your media to the cloud.

Question Remote option gone from File Manager?

Since the recent update to MIUI 12.5.1, Xiaomi File Manager has removed the “Remote” option. I used it all the time for transferring files to/from an SMB share. I know there are other options, but I don’t want to use ShareMe (BT or WiFi) or use Google Drive which obviously slower.
I have V1-210408 on my Poco F3 and it now only offers Google Drive, Connect to computer and Transfer files. The second two options use ShareMe. I have V1-210304 on an old Note and it has Remote, Google Drive, FTP and Transfer files. They still offer this old version on the Play Store.
I can’t find any info saying this was planned. Maybe I just need to change a setting or enable something? I know there are other, much better file managers, but I feel kind of burned by ES File Explorer and all the security issues that didn’t come to light for years.
I ended up going for Solid Explorer (NeatBytes). The good reviews seemed far more genuine than the copy paste ones for the likes of Cx File Explorer. NeatBytes also seems to be an established company and they are based in the EU (Poland).
Great options and no bloat. I has a really nice horizontal dual pane start up option which is perfect for drag and drop drop.
I’m guessing Xiaomi removed the option to push people towards ShareMe.
I've always used CX and I'm very happy

It's strange they don't have any ad revenue or pro version upgrade and it's the only app they do. I also got a bad feeling going over their privacy policy:
https://cx-file-explorer.firebaseapp.com/privacy-policy-file-explorer.htm
Compared to Solid Explorer:
Legal - Solid Explorer
neatbytes.com
Especially when you compare the data collection sections and the only way to opt out with Cx is to uninstall but Solid has options within the settings. Cx also has mistakes and mixed fonts on their page which is hosted on a firebase account with a free domain. Their only contacts are Gmail/AndroidPub email accounts and they don’t have a website or even provide a company location.
Some really strange reviews too, but maybe they incentivise 5 star feedback? I might just be super sceptical after ES File Explorer though
